- Hey y'all! So in today's tutorial, I'm showing off my brand new (gorgeous turquoise) tumbler heat press that I ordered from Amazon. Since my last small business vlog where I unboxed it, it's been sitting in my craft room begging to be used. So of course, we test it out and sublimate a couple of sublimation tumblers!! Needless to say, I'm absolutely in love with how they turned out and the amazing heatpress!!

OMGGGG Ericaaaaaa!!! Let me tell you how much money I have lost trying to make tumblers. They were coming out horrible. What am I doing wrong? I could not figure it out. I played with my computer setting for the color, I did different temps and times...nothing! Even the instruction that was taped on the machine when I brought it was wronggg! When I watched your video..I said to myself, at this stage of things it definitely wouldn't hurt to try and low and behold and a pray or two (waiting on God)...The colors were AMAZING! I got the same one, just in pink. Haven't t used it yet but I did turn it on to make sure it works & yes it does have the burning smell. How do you know you've got the right pressure for pressing the tumbler? I've also seen others use so much more tape than you and yours still came out perfect. Glad I don't have to use so much tape. You did amazing & love the designs.

I have ruined so many tumblers because I couldn’t get the heat and time right. I watched your video because I have the same press but in white (really wished I saw the turquoise) anyway I made a tumbler using your directions and Oh My!!! Perfection! Thank you.

Hi great video I want to try out and cut the white parts like you said because I usually cut both the sides but leave the top/bottom and it’s leaving me white parts🤦🏽♀️ but I wanted to ask where did you get the paper trimmer I’ve been looking for one that it good and not to expensive.

HI! I watched this video and decided to buy a print off of etsy and sublimate. When I printed a test it was the perfect size, however when I printed it on my sublimation printer epson eco-tank 3830 the size was automatically changed. Any idea how to keep it from changing? I used my ipad to print like you did from procreate. I even tried it again and yep it will print on one perfectly and not the other... such a mystery to me. Thanks.
Can you use this for mugs and cups as well? Or just tumblers that size?

I just got this press also! I wish I saw your video first bc I did mine at 356 for 50 sec rotate and 50 more and it’s so faded looking. What would make that happen

I just bought a lavender tumbler press on Amazon. Eenour (sp?) Brand. Can't wait to try it. On your second tumbler it looks like there is ghosting on the bottom flower? Or is that how the image is? All the other videos I've been watching say to not overlap. But yours came out so nice.

Why does your press not indicate that you need to insert a tumbler while press is heating up? I just got one and it says you have to put a tumbler in while it is preheating...

Do you think that the 200z presses are enough? Can this press do smaller? Do customers often prefer the 30oz tumblers. Also can you press the can glasses and mason jar glasses in these? Just trying to see if I should pay extra for the 30oz or if customer demand is enough for 20oz and under. Sorry for so many questions.. this press in Canada is $426.00
Personally, I think yes they're enough. 20oz are my most popular size. Although I haven't tried the mason jar glasses in this press yet, I do think it'll work. the press itself is adjustable. Maybe I'll get some to try out for ya. Wow definitely even more pricey up there! How much extra is the 30oz press vs the 20oz?

Yes, I use the Procreate app (costs only $10) on my iPad (only works with apple).

Where do you get designs for the tumblers
Can someone please let me know how to get rid of the Fishy smell? I bought this press a month ago and have been using it every day for hours hoping the smell would eventually go away, and so far it has not. I had to start using it outside because theres no way you can use this press inside your home. Does anyone else have this issue?

That was the coolest thing ever!! I've been contemplating on whether or not to do tumblers. I even wanna dabble into some resin pours. I have a question, can you use the UV resin that does not need mixing? What are your thoughts on this type of resin? Maybe a new video on types of resin...lol 😉
Thanks so much! You should! They're so fun! I haven't seen anyone use UV resin to coat a whole tumbler, typically I (and other I see) use it for small things like gluing things down to a lid and thinly sealing it in. Or I've used it to just add a top coat to keychains/jewelry pieces. I definitely should do a video talking about resins and alternatives!!

What are the perfect printing dimensions for the image on the 20oz
I use 9.3 x 8.2 and cut down a little if needed to avoid overlap at bottom
Does this machine adjusts to different tumbler shapes?
I believe it can only adjust to do straight tumblers/mugs and the tapered tumblers that just gradually get smaller on the bottom not the classic 30oz tumblers with the small bottoms big tops.

Will some one tell me how to set the bottom number for how long to keep the tumbler heating? I burnt my tumbler press and first time I used it. Is it that you set the temperature and the other number automatically sets??????

You push the far right button keep pushing it until it gets to the timer cuz the first time you click it it’s for the temperature

Where did you get you pegboard please I've been looking for one that color but no luck
I got mine from Home Depot, it was the normal brown color but I spray painted mine that color. I recommend doing a white basecoat first though.
Can I use a ink jet printer to print out the designs?
Yes but it should be new and set up initially with sublimation ink. hiipoo is what I use
Do you do video tutorial on Procreate for printing designs? I use silhouette but would love to know how in Procreate.
Create what you want in Procreate and save it as PNG or JPG then send it to your computer, next open the file in Silhouette. just make sure to measure your Tumbler to make sure you create your design at the size. Then you can Print it from Silhouette.
I'm thinking of jumping on the bus to make sublimation tumblers and just curious about your thoughts/feelings about this heat press today?

I love this press. I ordered it about a year ago because I had been using my mug press to make my tumblers but I ended up breaking the bar at the top of that. Well, I have yet to order me a new mug press so now I am curious to know if I can press 16 oz mugs with this tumbler press. I haven’t tried adjusting anything to do mugs because I was afraid to break it and then I’d be without a mug press AND a tumbler press lol. My 16 oz mugs are pretty wide so if you have any insight please lmk

Hi Erica. I have a question hopefully you can help. I bought a printer. Tumbler press and sublimation tumbler. Sublimation ink. tried making a couple of tumblers and the ink is not transferring onto the Tumblr. Everything is sublimation. Please help. Heat is 360. It's just not transferring the ink.

Can I even use this for 16oz Libby glass cups my parents are helping me gather more stuff for my small business but I started off with Libby cups with uv dft wraps and this video is gonna be really helpful to me since this my first time getting one of this :)
Where do you buy tumblers
My tumbler press just stopped heating😭 I have looked everywhere on what I can do and I can’t find anything other than changing a fuse and it still doesn’t work. I am devastated. Have you had this happen or know what I can try to do?
Omg that's crazy! No that's never happened with mine! I'm surprised changing the fuse didn't work, that's what I see most people doing. I would email the supplier ASAP and explain and see if they'll send you a replacement or offer a solution at the very least.

I hear putting the tumbler in cold water will help with cooling!!
Not a good idea, it sometimes will break the seal in the tumbler, if it is a double wall tumbler
5:50 am I have to peel and scrape to get the paper off
Could be the type of paper or tumblers you're using, I've never had that happen thus far.

Sublimation paper ( you have to with sublimation products- also used a sublimation printer with sublimation ink)
