Just wanna clarify.
For Hoyoung to reach 100% effective uptime you need to have a 200 Mercedes and Corsair for cooldown reduction and summon duration to go from 40 seconds out of 50 seconds to 48 seconds uptime.
Hoyoung nodes are "hard" because technically you use 9 skills. However the last set of tris doesn't really come into play until like 260s. So realistically even for some mains that don't go that far you will use 6 skills which is very normal and kind of good when all of our potential boosts are only 9. So technically everything is a perfect trinode.
Yes our bossing is more complicated because summon upkeep is very important for dps uptime. Mobbing is imo a 10/10. I didn't even have to move my character and flash jump outside of looting until Grandin. VC3 we could literally place our summon down and atk left and right without moving from one spot.
We have the best mobility in the game as not only do we have our fly skill but if you use your flash jump + fly, if you use your heaven flame skill both of those reset so you get flash jump and fly back.
Skills displacing the user is absolutely a detriment to noodles though. When you're a main these are all pluses because we get more movement choices such as using stone tremor to TP through lotus lasers instead of using the ground shattering waves slide.
I think 6/10 is probably right for a 220 bossing mule. 7 to 8 /10 if you go 235+ to do Nslime which I think hoyoung is really good at

I watch all your bossing mule videos. I have a hoyoung who I'm going to hyper burn and I'm learning to use the class. Only thing I could ask for in these bossing mule videos is maybe an explanation of how the burst works for each class so people know a bit more when it comes to how the class does bosses. Like Which burst skills to use in what order to optimize damage while bursting.

IDK if you're doing this but you don't always have to put loads of nodes into all of your skills. Just run a BA for a full rotation on your kit at lvl1 V skills (ex. if you're a 200s burst job, run a 200s BA) and check what your highest damage skills are. The only jobs that are bad on nodes are jobs where damage is too evenly distributed. If your main four V skills make up 80% of your 4min BA, then you really should only fund those skills and maybe your top non-V skill. Save on nodes and improve your damage.
