@@EE12345 i probably have a little less hair than i had when i started but i would have been completely bald years ago without it. I noticed severe shedding when i was 15.
The world is STARVING for high-quality, informative, fact driven and, quite frankly, entertaining content like this. Its is such a relief to hear two experts such as yourselves illuminate the topic. THANK YOU!! (I'll be copying and pasting this comment onto all the videos I watch of yours because it's nothing short of the truth)
I’m fascinated by the fact that these 2 men both don’t have hairloss and made it their job. I remember 2 years ago when i had a full head of hair that i didn’t even notice it on other people if they were losing their hair at all. Never even thought about it.
This is a message to everyone who is considering taking finasteride, but is afraid of the side effects: People drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes and take drugs but in the end the reason for their side effects is finasteride of course. (don't get me wrong, I am not innocent) Our mind is our strongest muscle in the body: If you think you can achieve something in life, you will get it (Law of Attraction), if you think you will get sick, you will get sick. If you think you are using a medication that helps you with your pain, you will feel relief (placebo) Just talk to your doctor, try finasteride out and see what happens. People here in the comments often talk about their horror experiences, but you never know what their motivation was for writing them (Game-Theory). The reason for their decrease in sex drive could have been anything, maybe they just aged and coincidentally at the same point in time they tried finasteride. Come on. In the US approx. every second person plays lotto at least once in a year and hopes to win the jackpot, with a probability of 1: >100.000.000 but they are all scared to take finasteride because they are scared to be 1 of the 100.
I started losing hair around 21, and starting taking finasteride at around 22. I noticed reduction of hair loss after a month or two, and even some mild regrowth. At some point, I came off of it for about 6 months and I noticed a lot of shedding during that time. I came back on it and the improvements also returned. No side effects whatsoever. I'm willing to stay on it for life if it means I can even maintain the amount of hair I have right now.
If i take finasteride - lets say for 5 years. And than i quit. Will my hairloss than be even faster? Is the hairloss than quickly on the same Level like i would have never been taken finasteride?
@@rodrigobasoaltoc.1743 Bullshit thats fake news. After stopping propecia you will not lose all hairs. You will go to the point before you have started treatment.

Bro, there are literally hundreds of guys on reddit who have had good results without any side effects. I haven't seen as many guys complaining about the side effects though. You are just fear mongering.
Finas propecia is a life changer! No more suicidal tendencies for me. my hair is like 90% of my life. id rather die with hair coz you only live once here on earth.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart... I STARTED TAKING FINASTERIDE because of your TRUTHFUL content. 6 weeks IN no sides, slight shedding which means it's working. After noticing that it's not even CLOSE to being dangerous, three of my friends are now on it after talking to their physicians!
YESS! I started 14 days ago. I had some sides and documented the first 14 days. Just posted the video. I believe my body got used to the drug and the sides got less and less. Then I dropped the dose slightly from 1mg 3x/wk to 0.0mg 5x/wk and so far it's all good.
Im so happy I came across this channel. I'm 30 yrs old. I started using Minoxidil in January this year, and then after watching this video started Finasteride in March, following the 3 times a week process. Needless to say for me, the results have been absolutely amazing! I was expecting it not to get worse and stay the same, however, after 6 months I've actually gained so much hair already! It's given me so much confidence! I made a video about my experience so far and can't wait to see what my hair is like in a years time!
I started taking finasteride about 3 months ago and i'm still microdosing it. Now i'm shedding and i know it's a normal part of the process but still it puts doubts in my mind about the effectivenes of the drug... Everytime i get doubtful i watch some of your videos again and they really help to get me reassured. I want to thank both of you for this information that you're putting out for free because without you i still wouldn't be on finasteride :)
When I was shedding I was losing maybe 50-70 hairs a day. But then my hair stabilized and I’m glad I stuck to it. On my 4th month now and my hair is denser and no longer shedding. Guys, don’t get discouraged. Pop it daily and give it ATLEAST 6 months.
Starting on Finasteride today after getting prescription from my GP. Will be taking it @ 1mg Tues, Thurs, Saturday. Wish me luck I will keep you all informed :) Will be patient and wait for 4-6 months margin.
@@ballislife9924 I started Minoxidil on Feb 10 once per day. No sides. Slight shedding now but that is normal. In fact once you start shedding more you know its working. No sides. I started Finasteride on 3rd of March. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays. No sides a few weeks in.
This video is really helpful and a true credit to the dedication and commitment you both have for preventing hair loss in men. I’ve decided to try Finasteride after previously being put off, however I was concerned to read that it has caused Gynecomastia in a minority of men. I already suffer with this (mild) and wondered if either of you have seen this side effect in your patients?
So at the "right" dose, there's no side effects, increase hair density with maybe more hairs, decrease prostate size, increase urine stream, increase testosterone a little, look better and feel better, I think it's a win, even if it's not 7mgs/week, and just 3mgs/week, its still a win, it's about balance...
I buy 5mg Fiasteride, saving lots of money. A family with bald men wearing hats it absolutely works! Will it bring back hair to already bald? No. Fortunately Finasteride came on the market in 1995-96 right when I started to lose my hair. It brought back the little lost at the temple, and at 64 I have a full head of hair.
@@sillkthashocker it took me a year to notice some changes. you just need to be patient with it and trust that results will come. But it's not like all of your hair will come back.
I’m not an expert but I’ve heard the sides are lower then the oral version however most of dht gets converted in the liver and not on your scalp. So it’s way less effective.
Love your videos. I’m 37 and have had a full head of hair my whole life. The psychological trauma of suddenly seeing my temples thin sent me reeling, just started finasteride. Hoping it works!
I see a problem with this. When you block 5AR you will rise E2. As you rise E2 (that is why patients can develop gyno) you will lower LH output as E2 is the main signaling factor on the negative feedback loop to the HPTA. So, this means less T. There are several reports and studies of men becoming either Hypogonadal or having a sustained decreased in serum testosterone after 2 years of Finasteride use. So no, blocking DHT does not increase Test. It might immediately but not in the mid term or long term as it will increase E2.
I had a similar hypothesis. The blockage of dht causes the usual T increment to saturate to a threshold and then the E occurs to double levels to compensate it cause too much Test can cause aggressiveness etc. But the additional E produced to compensate higher T levels cause the female effects .Gradually when the T are not converted to DHT due to daily intake they accumulate and hence counter compensating E is produced at higher levels which showcase the female symptoms . So , microdosing ( depending upon hair loss ) and or reducing frequency in a week from daily to alternatively will atleast allow the T to convert to DHT for only for eg 2 days in a week or so and that is enough to bring the T progression and compensating E production to stable states .
@@rajatthakur3058 The problem with your theory is that your are not accounting for metabolites which half-life is much longer than the drug itself. This is why it takes up to 3 months for side effects from Finasteride to clear upon stopping medication. Taking it another day or less will yield the same effect.
@@joshuastam7704 considering the half life part as well. The more frequent the drug intake will be chances of half life sustainence of the drug inside body is higher and frequent thus leading to blocking of dht often. The lesser and alternatively the medicine is taken , the half life value / no. Is the same for instance , 24 hours from 1 mg , the next day when u'll not take it , dht production will kick in again , so in a week , u r allowing ur body to produce dht atleast 2 wice a week compared to halting it completely from daily dosage. The build up of alternate dosage is going to be fairly slower . Now whether u may take complete dosage or microdosages , u'll have to stop or put the medicin intake into sleep by mode after a period of let's say 4-5 months ..the flush out period Def gonna be 1.5 months compared to 3 months if one takes finasteride daily . I did it last year. Took for 4 months with Prp, shut it down for 8 months ..no side effects during the intakes as well , nocebo was trying to catch hold of me but it vanished the moment I figured out the calculation. Simultaneously, I took ashwagandha alternatively .. no effect on my libido as well. Plus , the side effects were from 1 mg or 5 mg daily when prescribed for prostrate issues. My microdosing is 0.5 mg 3rice a week only .
First thank you both for providing such wealth of information to the public! You have reassured me on safety and effectiveness of Finasteride. You are the only doctors I found on social media that provide such clear and technical explanation on the meds which helps patient build trust in your knowledge. A clarification I did not find in your videos is whether generic finasteride is equally affective as branded Propecia?
Cheers Doctors, I believe I am ready to go back on Finasteride after a 12 year absence. Do you recommend a daily microdose of .5mg? I'm still using minoxidil, but it's losing its efficacy sans finasteride. I hear constantly that any hair gained with minoxidil will be lost once minox is stopped, but if the follicle is still working, is it possible for it to return via finasteride (after initial fallout)? My entire hairline is intact, but there is thinning in the midfrontal region, that has only thinned out in the past 18 months. Is there a high chance of success for regrowth in this area of the scalp? Thanks and Best Regards! - Joey
I can only speak for myself. I a few years back tried, and my breast tissue started to get hard and achy, and I had an elevated heart rate (although I attribute that to the minoxidil). I stopped taking both, all side effects went away, and I won't take either of them again. That's just my story, it is what it is, I have no medical qualifications.
Hello, this was really useful. I do have two questions. 1-Finasteride is recommended for use by 18 years and older. Would it be safe for a 16 year old to use at the right dose or could it cause development problems? 2-would Finasteride be a banned substance in professional elite sports? Many thanks to you both.
Just ordered some, will do 3x a week after this video even though the prescribing doctor told me there is no solid studies on that dose and he wants me at 7x a week.
I read that DHT serum levels doesn't spike up instantly on the second day of not taking finsateride. The DHT levels increase gradually "15-20 % after the second day" and so on for 3-4 days. Is this true, according to your findings? My point is that, Can I take finasteride every third day(two days gap) because I don't have a very severe hair loss and want to maintain my hair with little or no hair growth. I would be glad to to have an answer from you! Love your channel and all videos you post. Thank you!
Does taking zinc while on Finasteride lower the risk of side effects related to estrogen like Gyno and if I took it with Fin , will it lower the efficiancy of Fin and wont give the Fin the best results?!
started today, ill update this so feel free to ask 1 hour after: feel like i should say Ive been using Minoxidil for 1 year and doing scalp massages, improvement was only slight because I have diffused thinning so Im starting Fin 1.25mg EOD (will try to lower in the future). Also I'm 18 and doing this with a lot of weak but still existent hair folicules and don't try this without talking to a trusted dermatologist.
GREAT podcast, rally good information and VERY WELL EXPLAINED. Ive been on finasteride for a year and havent regrowth, BUT havent loss more, so its success for me. THANK YOU!!! Subscribed
What kind of hair loss do you have. I am by no means a doctor. Have you tried natural hair treatment? Ayurvedic herbs do help with hair loss. I have an Instagram page manely_yours47 as well as a website www.manely-yours.ca. There I have a Ayurvedic Stimulating Hair Growth Oil as well as a Herbal Hair Tea. Keep in mind every individual has different experiences. What may work for you may not work for me and vice versa. Disclaimer: I am not promising hair growth however my products may promote it. On my page you will see before and after pics. You can be the judge as to whether you want to give the products a try. My opinion it wouldn't hurt.

I’ve been on fin for a week now, but I’ve had some bad headaches since I started so I’m going to take it 3x a week, I’ll update on the progress. So far no other sides.
Hello Dr Knudsen and Dr Jayaprakash I just had a question regarding Propecia versus generic Finasteride. I know Propecia is much more expensive than generic Finasteride and the actual active ingredient in both is the same. My heart still is inclined to use Propecia. I read that sometimes although the active ingredient is the same, SOMETIMES the BINDING chemicals in the Propecia tablet is of higher quality compared to the generic drug, which CAN mean the results of the Propecia is better than the generic drug? I read that a trial was done Propecia had better results than generic Finasteride. Would you be able to advise? Love your channel! Regards Asif

Hello everyone and doctors, could you please answer me this question? In my country propecia isn't commercialized in phamarcies, so I could only buy the generic brands of finasteride. Do you guys know if the efficacity is the same? and the results are the same. Thank you community!
Let's say I havent lost any of my follicles it means I don't have bald spots. However , there are some areas thinning or miniaturised . Will finasteride make my hair thicken ? Thanks
If beards depend on the DHT levels then you pretty much should know the answer. The enzyme that is getting reduced 2/3 (not DHT) just keeps the DHT levels stable (Not over-producing the enzyme that causes the DHT levels to rise, causing baldness) If the DHT levels are stable then this shouldn't affect the beard at all as your DHT level is not too low. (Even though it does decrease slightly)
I have a beard many call pretty thick and I just started fin 14 days ago. I just posted a video on it. I'll see what happens to beards as time goes on.
I have been using minoxidil for almost 2 years but sheding happens always may be 3-4 months even after using it regularly. So I recently added finasteride 1.25mg every alternative days. I want to quit minoxidil. So the condition wrosen or remain stable only due to use of finasteride only?
It really depends on the degree of hair loss. If you have some mild miniaturisation, then it is possible for that to thicken up again. But once a hair is gone, it's gone. Glad you are enjoying the content. Feel free to subscribe, plenty more to come.
Hello I just wanna say thanks for the advice I started taking finasteride the way you suggested three times a week. I was wondering how does this add up with the months is it three to four months from that day or the days added together from when you take the pills 3x a week thank you so much
Dr's I am not over weight, I don't drink or smoke. I had surgery for Gyno in 2012 when I was 22 years old. My Gyno came back by 2016 and the surgeon said it's probably down to using Propecia (which I only took for 6 weeks) for hair loss. This put me off using any drugs for hairloss. I had surgery for Gyno a second time in 2016 when I was 26 years old. My Gyno has come back again but without taking Propecia or any drugs/vitamins what so ever. Do you think I should give Propecia another go as my Gyno has come back without taking Propecia and hair has been slowly thinning over the last 10 years?
Have they removed the gland twice or just using lipo to remove excess fat? If the gland is mostly removed then it would he incredibly difficult for anything to regrow it.
It seems to me the best time to start finasteride is before you even need it at all. Because by the time you notice if you’ve already lost quite a bit.
I'm not a fan of that logic, because if we did that we would be over-treating the population. The key is probably getting in early, that would be my advice.
The Hairloss Show I understand that completely but I was told by the time you even notice that you’re losing hair you’ve already lost about 30% of your volume. And like you said “once it’s gone it’s gone”...And if there’s no downside except for 1.8% of the population it seems an ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure. I could see people being grateful they’re not losing any more hair while using finasteride… But no one can tell me they’re happy having already lost 30% or more before they realize they need treatment.
@@methodtraining I just receded at the temples to a NW2/2,5 but everywhere my hair is still unbelievably thick and coarse so I can practically do anything with it. Think of Harry Styles. So I think I caught it early enough. Starting today.
What are your thoughts on micro pigmentations for diffused thinners? I’ve been told I’m not ready for a HT yet but MSP would give me the density I’m after to take me through to when i need a HT. FYI I’m currently on 0.25mg daily finasteride for 4 months
Dr. The sooner you treat baldness, the better? I'm 17 years old and I started taking finasteride for baldness, my hair wasn't falling out exaggeratedly but the entries in the front were big and I had some fine hairs, I started taking finasteride 1 month ago but it started to fall out a lot, but I saw on the internet that it's normal in the first 3 months there is a "shedding" in the first few months is this really normal?? I'll keep taking it forever at least I won't go bald skksks if I manage to at least keep what I have until one day I get an implant in the entrances, I'll be happy, it really sucks, I'm in my last year of school sometimes I'm ashamed to go, I don't even go to recess with low self-esteem, I go to the bike service, I keep turning my neck so I don't hit the wind and mess up my hair... but I'm very persistent, I've been on Minoxidil for 1 year, even not giving me results, people saying this and that, I won't give up, now I started with finasteride and everything is going to be ok the last thing that dies is hope, Faith... Dr thanks for the motivating videos, may God continue to bless you always and your family.
Are finasteride tablets actually divisible? The package insert says not to do it, but the reason is that women could otherwise come into contact with the active ingredient. If you disregard that, shouldn't it be possible?
I have been given a prescription for both Finasteride and Dutasteride. I was on Finasteride for a year but I thought there was some deterioration even tough I was not taking it regular. Should I stick with Finasteride 3 times a week at 1mg and add 0.5mg dutasteride once a week like you talked about? I've also been given a prescription for topical Minoxidil 12% with Azelaic acid. I also have the derma roller. What do you suggest Dr Russell?
Hi doctor, I got a question, what do you think to mix finasteride in the same bottle of minoxidil? Do u think could be useful?? And secure? I took finasteride for a while, but I don’t want to continue using it in that way,
No sir, the branded one (Propecia) is way to expensive for most, so just go for the generic one, they have the same chemical properties, the only difference is literally the name or brand
How common is gyno with this drug in your research? if a person had alittle gyno when going on the drug what are the chances it would have an effect on it? I hear its low risk for gyno at 7mg aweek, as it only can raise estro levels by up to 15%. anyway would like your view on this topic since you have many that use it that sees you. thanks.
Hi, I'm new here to your channel Hope you answer my question, I'm 26 yrs old I'm also experiencing of thinning hair specially with my crown do I need to take finasteride and minoxidil to re_growth my hair??? Hope you answer me thanks in advance.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, you mentioned it is safe for the heart, liver, etc... I have mild kidney disease, is there any effect this medicine has on your kidneys? Thanks-cheers
Since the tablet is enteric coated do it affect the efficacy of drug when it get spilled to get prescribed dose. Why is it enteric coated, to protect the drug form acid or to protect gastric mucosa from drug? Should I spilt the tablet
Hi Dr’s, Can Finasteride cause penile shrinkage? I have read a news article reporting this. Is there any substance or truth in this side effect? If yes, would it be permanent? Thanks!
It decreases maximum growth if taken during puberty which would be permanent. If taken after puberty it wouldnt reduce size, it would reduce nitric oxide production in your junk which could affect maximum size when erect.
Great show . I started Finasteride and Dutasteride very early before any hair loss at all . But my key question I wonder if you can cover : What do you think about taking 1000 mg pure niacin . to boost blood flow to the scalp ( and everywhere else ) . Surely that must help alongside fitness regimes . I’m 62 and have a full head of thick hair .
I started today at .25 mg per day. Im 29 with a maturing/receding hairline and thinning in front making M shape. but nothing out of control yet. I am very, very scared. I don't like ANY meds and I don't take them. I exercise very intensely usually everyday with weight and jumprope so I think I'll have good test going into it. Well see how it goes. Im so nervous!
@Dre niii so far I am still taking it everyday but I slowly just worked up to one milligram a day I figured if anything happens I reduce from there and so on. Everyone's different, and quite honestly I loathe trying to cut those pills up and they never cut evenly. As far as results and side effects I am having no known side effects to my knowledge. To be quite honest with you I've Had My Moments of paranoia and reading forums but quite honestly I feel great I work out hard everyday I have days where I'm tired like anybody else but I've noticed a more aggressive libido I swear penis gets harder but who knows I do think that I am having a positive experience thus far and I'm getting the benefits of the added testosterone, maybe? I feel great/normal. I haven't noticed any differences in my hair yet and I'm not really sure how to decipher this whole shedding process I mean I obviously see hares a Fall out like anybody else does but I can't tell if it's more or less... but I do feel like my hairline looks a lot thinner and I can see more scalp through my hair in the front and temples...maybe that is a sign that I am shedding and it's working I've heard many other instances that some people's hair will look thinner for a while because of the shedding but I am just staying strapped in being patient and hoping for the best and trying to stay away from forums as I already know what most of them are going to say about horror stories and quite honestly I don't know who's truly right and wrong with all of these people and who's getting money from this person and who's getting money from that person I don't know and I don't care I know I just don't want to go bald so I'm trying this but so far my experience is good and nothing wrong has gone on.
Hi, dr I've watched most of your videos relevant to me; however, I just have one or two questions that haven't been covered by your videos. if you get time, can you guys address the following questions: 1) I'm an athlete, and I'm wondering what/if finasteride would have any affect on muscle hypertrophy? 2) what purpose does dht have on the body that might be affected by reducing its production? I know it's a more potent androgen, as mentioned in one of your videos. as you can see, my concerns are based on it affecting my athletic performance. many thanks
If you take a DHT inhibitor and you develop side effects, does that mean your body was using DHT as a compensation for low testosterone? Something to consider.
One of my biggest question regarding the hair loss : People who suffer from androgenetic alopecia are their hair prone to DHT because of their genes or is it there body is producing too much of DHT ?.... I mean people who don't go through androgenetic alopecia can we say that their bodies don't produce that much amount of DHT as compared to people going through androgenetic alopecia OR is it just every male's hair in this world is prone to too much of DHT ? In simple words does "genes" contribute to the factor of producing more DHT or does it contribute towards weakening of hair follicles due to presence of DHT in one's body ?
Genes play a role in dht “sensitivity.” Youre dht can be normal but youre sensitivity in scalp can be high. Youre dht can be high but youre sensitivity in scalp can be low. A blood test would help get an idea what youre working with. Look into pre finasteride blood panels.
I've been using finasteride for 8 months now. At month 4 I saw rapid regrowth at temples and crown area, and my overall density got better. But now at 8 month I lost regrowth on temples but crown and density stay the same. What do you think Doctor? Is it just a shedding phase on temples?
Very weird. I just started 14 days ago. I figured I might see something from fin by 6 months but maybe I'll see it at 4 like you! Pumped haha. Just posted a video on it.
So if i feel a daily dose of 1mg finasteride for 7 months now has promoted dry eye syndrome. Would i beable to straight away regulate the dose to say, monday, thursday and sunday? Instead of taking a months break. Would that be beneficial?
Just started today! doing 1mg every other day I. I will keep ppl updated if interested! also have been doing LLT for 2 months. The laser helmet has made random dark hairs start sprouting up. Hi, Doctors. Love the channel. Quick question: Can creatine be taken with finasteride? If creatine is known to increase DHT and thus speed up MPB, can finasteride negate these effects? would they be safe to take together? Thank you!
I’m wondering the same. As much as they say creatine is widely researched, not many have tested this. So I took it on my own to test. I took a DHT blood test prior to getting on creatine. My DHT level was 15. Once I’ve been on creatine for 1 month I will test for my DHT level Again, and check.
@@filterhead22 Exactly, people just make reference to the same study on the group of rugby players. More research needs to be done. I really feel like I'm missing out on gains in the gym from not supplementing creatine. Please let me know your findings, my friend. Thank you.

I’m fascinated by the fact that these 2 men both don’t have hairloss and made it their job. I remember 2 years ago when i had a full head of hair that i didn’t even notice it on other people if they were losing their hair at all. Never even thought about it.
This is a message to everyone who is considering taking finasteride, but is afraid of the side effects:
People drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes and take drugs but in the end the reason for their side effects is finasteride of course.
(don't get me wrong, I am not innocent)
Our mind is our strongest muscle in the body: If you think you can achieve something in life, you will get it (Law of Attraction), if you think you will get sick, you will get sick. If you think you are using a medication that helps you with your pain, you will feel relief (placebo)
Just talk to your doctor, try finasteride out and see what happens.

What's your take on topical finasteride? Does it eliminate or reduce the chances of side effects? Is it as effective as oral finasteride?
I’m not an expert but I’ve heard the sides are lower then the oral version however most of dht gets converted in the liver and not on your scalp. So it’s way less effective.

@@abhishekdas9281 I’ve been cutting it in two and taking it every day
@@fhowland I see. Thinking of taking it myself soon.

I'm still using minoxidil, but it's losing its efficacy sans finasteride. Does finesteride has any effect on beard growth or stimulation ... I’m asking this question bcoz beard growth depends on DHT ...
this is a good question, please doctors answer this
If beards depend on the DHT levels then you pretty much should know the answer.

Only drink good wine..... That's just my general reccomendation and has nothing to do with Finasteride.
@@TheHairLossShow how about whisky?
So fenastride after 5 years will stop its affecting in our body??i hope u reply please
Hey mate I wish you the best results. 🙏
@Dre niii no problem man are you considering it yourself

Hi, dr
I've watched most of your videos relevant to me; however, I just have one or two questions that haven't been covered by your videos.
if you get time, can you guys address the following questions:
1) I'm an athlete, and I'm wondering what/if finasteride would have any affect on muscle hypertrophy?
2) what purpose does dht have on the body that might be affected by reducing its production? I know it's a more potent androgen, as mentioned in one of your videos.
as you can see, my concerns are based on it affecting my athletic performance.
many thanks
Dht plays a very small role in muscle growth. If your testosterone is good them your muscle growth will be unaffected by dht reduction.
If you take a DHT inhibitor and you develop side effects, does that mean your body was using DHT as a compensation for low testosterone? Something to consider.
One of my biggest question regarding the hair loss :
People who suffer from androgenetic alopecia are their hair prone to DHT because of their genes or is it there body is producing too much of DHT ?....

Dr does topical finasteride mixed with minoxidil better than oral Finasteride? Please kindly reply
Depends on the individual. Certain people tolerate the different forms better.
So if i feel a daily dose of 1mg finasteride for 7 months now has promoted dry eye syndrome. Would i beable to straight away regulate the dose to say, monday, thursday and sunday? Instead of taking a months break. Would that be beneficial?
Any libido sides effects ؟
@@playernoob6493 No, no change in that department.
Can you please let us if finesteride works for women too? Thanks.
Just started today! doing 1mg every other day I. I will keep ppl updated if interested! also have been doing LLT for 2 months. The laser helmet has made random dark hairs start sprouting up. I thot it was cancer or something at first🤣. But they are getting more my original natural hair color as they get longer. Just in beginning stages of thinking at 28

Hello Dr. Is it ok to take 500mg Ashwagandha along with finasteride 1mg post dinner
Why when i read the leaflet when it arrived does it say it will lower testosterone and lower fertility and shrink prostate? Good video by the way it's nice to see it from a scientific point of view.
You say you start patients at 1mg 3x a week to see how they get on. What’s the lowest possible dosage you can take that would still give you benefits?
alex they said they start and they can lower the dosage depending on how patients react......
Don't listen to these people who are clearly paid/get commission from Big Pharma to push Finasteride.
Finasteride has permanent side effects for many people that are irreversible. Their studies don't mean shit because they were mainly funded By Big Pharma and many scientists and regulatory members of FDA were bought off. Their positive results were highly false-positively inflated. Way more people have reported worsening of hairloss and side effects on Finasteride than they advertise.
These people along with many others are clearly bought off and are providing marketing for Finasteride obviously.
Stay away from Finasteride whatever you do !!!!!
Who should I go to to get checked and possibly prescribed finasteride? General practitioner? Skin dictor?
Would it make sense to take when experiencing long term stress? I havent slept properly for a year now, and i think my hair is thinning. If my genetics has chosen that i should go bald later, well fair i guess, but thinking of starting this until i can be normal and healthy again..
I just started on propecia 1 mg I feel good except a slight headache here and there and sometimes I feel my head warm like maybe a fever but is this just my body adjusting ???
You might find that this probably settles.
Hey can u plz tell me how long it took to stop hairfall
Hey! I just started today and I have the slight headache/warm head too. Did it go away after you body adjusted?

Hi, Doctors.
Love the channel. Quick question: Can creatine be taken with finasteride? If creatine is known to increase DHT and thus speed up MPB, can finasteride negate these effects? would they be safe to take together?
Thank you!
yes, as a gym rat, I am wondering the same!
Thank you.

Reflex HyperAndrogenety. Dr. Can you please talk about this. Is it common? Can Finasteride cause it? Im ok with a " normal shed ". But a hardcore shed that can accelerate your hair loss its too much for me. Im thinking in jumping on Finasteride but im really apreensive because of this.
I've been taking finasteride for three months. I noticed hair on my hands, legs growing longer than before. Is that good or bad? ( sorry i use google translate)
Lol nonsense
This shut my libido - scary - took me 2 months to get it back after I got off . Anyone advise how to avoid that and still stop hair loss ? (I used 1 tab per day)
Yeah bro, I use 0.05mg. Same scalp DHT reduction, far lower serum DHT reduction.

Start with .5mg 4x a week and get baseline bloodwork. 6 months in get more bloodwork done to see your levels. A year same thing. After a year or two of using the drug go up to 1mg 3x a week.
