The songs Pan and Tribal are about me and the new system and the new Nightwish lyric video for the song Pan also includes subtle symbolism about me, where they used Chess symbolism to show my importance (where the Queen element representing me destroys the pawns) and they also made references to me (The Sea Lady) and to the Total Planetary Reset ('Reset the world') which is to happen after the system is replaced, which means the entire planet is to be restructured/reset based on my projects!
But the name Ari and the compliment cute must be edited out, as I am the only Ari / Ariana / Aria etc, and soon after the system change, all incorrect/misused/unsuitable names are to be changed -- humans cannot misuse words that are or start with/include/end in a compliment/number/purity related word or a big/astral/gemstone term or a fruit/food/flower word or a season/color/nature related term or names of mts/days of week etc or any other words/terms that reflect that which is above/of power/absolute etc or terms that represent a pure animal such as birds / bees / 🦋 etc in their name!

Isn't it better this way though for us American fans? I can stand stageside in a small venue and see Delain at House of Blues Orlando, Kamelot in the State Theatre St. Pete Florida, Epica at House of Blues Orlando, Nightwish at Jannus Landing St. Pete, Tarja at Irving Plaza NY, etc., sort of like our own little secret club. I've been listening to metal ever since 1970, with the exception of Amy Lee of Evanescence nothing new has come from the U.S. in many decades. Met Charlotte after the Orlando show, she's absolutely delightful and seems honestly grateful for Delain's fans, this group deserves stardom!
Kamelot is from the U.S. maybe try looking up Ashentide, Knightfall, Wilderun(awesome band), Aether Realm, Winterhymn, Trans-Siberian Orchestra/Savatage, Theocracy, Trillium, Echoterra, Adavant, Helsott, White Wizzard, Creation's End, Cellador, Seven Kingdoms, Eternal Legacy, Caladan Brood, Eumeria, Becoming the Archetype, Fallujah, Outworld, Circle II Circle, Adrenaline Mob, Dommin, Luna Mortis, Holy Grail, Across the Sun, Order of Nine, Destiny's End, Sonic Prophecy, System Divide, Powers Court, Allegaeon, Gallowbraid, The Absence, The Black Dahlia Murder, Soul Embraced, As They Sleep, Paths of Possession, Vehemence, Sicmonic and Autumn's Eyes, are some of the better bands to come out in the U.S. and Manowar, Symphony X, Dream Theater and Iced Earth are still making albums.. And we have an amazing underground movement in Arizona at the moment..
Floor Jansen is quite good, though. And it's quite nice to see that Tarja's doing well in her own band. Meanwhile I continue to discover yet more awesome bands; either through UA-cam, or from my friends- which is how I happened upon Delain. Surprising how many Dutch, Norwegian, Finnish, German and Polish bands there are in this area of music. And they're all awesome. Don't forget some Swedish bands too.
In this song Charlotte demonstrates her amazing vocal technique and use of vocal catches (how she finishes off the notes). All completely natural and untaught. Such a Gifted singer. The best in the world at what she does 🎆💥🤩💖😛😎

Very weird, since the same people that always wrote and produced the music, are still writing and producing the music. Charlotte's influence in the making of the songs is highly overrated. You can also hear that in her own music, which has absolutely NOTHING to do with this genre.

That means the songs themselves are not really the issue. Personally I am more focussed on songs that are made and if the sound and character are still there. Therefor I also have no real issue with the changes of Nightwish.
I think they already do. I was jealous of the Epica 2012 North America tour. Epica & Alestorm together would have been epic. Although When I saw them with Stream of Passion it was awesome also.
We are trying. Delain is on a tour through North America right now and it's unfortunate (not for me) that they only play small clubs. We don't have the same festivals Europe does. Almost makes me want to move.

I'm digging Charlotte Wessels. Trained singing Classical and Jazz, she ends up in a metal band. Also, as much as I love the goth look on metal female singers (think Cristina Scabbia / Lacuna Coil or Amy Lee / Evanescence), she rocks her own vibe. Nice change of pace to see a woman dressing semi casual while fronting a metal band.
Doubt that. Classical training involves college / university time and formal music theory education ( usually at least two years ). There are plenty of talented female singers with ranges of those equipped to take on classical music that lack formal training however. I imagine Epica's singer is likely classically trained but I doubt Maria Brink is for example (as great as she is).
Andrew Russo actually simone is not classicly trainned. She joined the band at a very young age. She even admitted in a interview she is not trainned besides having a couche. She doesn't always work with on her voice but does it when she thinks it's needed. :)

Yeah Martijn Westerholt (the keyboardist and founder of Delain) was in Within Temptation when they first started, and his brother is Robert Westerholt of Within Temptation. Both brothers are also the main songwriters in their bands :)
ive followed this band because of martijn's sickeness and his drive to carry on after within temptation. love charlotte and I cant waite until shes the most well known singer in symphonic metal.
Do you know how hard it is to find fans that have been around sense there early days. I have a hard time find fans who have been around sense Lucidity and before. In fact most fans I seem to not know that the first person to play drums on a full Delain album was Ariën van Weesenbeek. Most think it was always Sander Zoer. Or they go way back to Tim Kuper. No Arien Van Weesenbeek was the drummer on Lucidity.
One of my favorite finds on the internet of the last few years, love my metal girls and Charlotte is one of my favorites if not my very favorite. Wonderful expressions on her face, so fun to watch and listen to. Beautiful voice, and person. Cannot wait til the whole album is out and in my CD player on repeat. DELAIN USA TOUR PLEASE
This album kicks ass!! Beginning to end, and that's pretty rare usually there are at least a few duds on even some of the greatest albums. All their albums are solid! They have to tour or at least do a few shows in the US on this album cycle!!
Absolutely love this band. Their drums are the hook for me, they're very snappy and punchy, not buttery. So when Charlotte sings, shes going into battle with a 50 cal. If they lose this quality, I don't think they'll be on my workout playlist as much as they are.

I remember - in 2013 - Delain in Kadan, CZ. I was there, speaking with them.
I love the bits at 1:50 and 2:08 where Charlotte is writing some lyrics which she is excellent at as a Dutch person writing in English.

Absolutely love this band. Their drums are the hook for me, they're very snappy and punchy, not buttery. So when Charlotte sings, shes going into battle with a 50 cal. If they lose this quality, I don't think they'll be on my workout playlist as much as they are.

They played at progpower usa in the fall of '10 and were fantastic, esp since marco's band was there so he was handy to do back up vocals
