Also, on the Lovebites fan page, Haruna just released a drum cam video of Raise Some Hell from the Five of a Kind show. It's great fun to watch and well worth being a member for, and hopefully another sign that they're looking to move things forward.

I wonder if Lovebites has found a new bass player yet? It may take some time, to find the right one.
I would apply, but I don't want to shave my legs. My wife would apply, but at 5' 8" she would tower over the others, plus she can't play bass.

I just think Miyako is a bit of an introvert similar to Tim Henson. She's a little socially awkward and let's her playing be her voice.
Although, you have to see her in some of her pre-Lovebites work. And the cat-suit in Sonic Lover Reckless: "Phoenix". Nothing shy about that performance, if you haven't seen it, have a fire extinguisher handy 😈
What's also great is that this is part one; there will be another part where they go through Miyako's guitar heroes too.

In this programme, they are introducing Midori/Myako's top 5 guitarists that which they were influenced.
This is just the first part where Midori introduces her top 5 guitarists.
I am waiting now for the second half where Miyako will introduce her top 5 guitarists.

Midori has been getting shredded in the gym, too. The stories she's posted of her abs, her arms and shoulders, and her, um, glutes are all impressive. Not only does she make me want to be -single- a better musician, she makes me want to start working out too!

Today, March 28, 2022, Haruna released a drum-cams (3) video, Raise Some Hell from Five of a Kind, complete song, on the official 'club' website, "lovebites-inc"
Yeah, I saw the clip on Twitter, but it sucks that people from the USA can't belong to the official fan club! It seems to be available to Japan only.
@@TheCyberMantis I am in Oregon and although the 'club' site is only in Japanese, I was able to join by using a 'browser translator' & debit card. The videos there are formatted (in page) to prevent download/save but viewable fullscreen. The site is run by Victor Entertainment and they are helpful through email, though, again, in Japanese (!) Good luck!
(they seemed surprised that a 'fan' of a band that sings ONLY in English would want an English option on their fan-club site ! ) As you know, everything about LOVEBITES is 'worth the trouble' !
@@dregeye Yes, Lovebites is always worth it. Absolutely. And what you said is really the root of the issue: Victor-E is managing a band that sings in English, and has a growing world-wide fan-base, but they have a "Japanese only" fan site. We have been asking for an international fan-club site for awhile now. As Lovebites continues to gain more fans, eventually Victor-E will have to do something about it. We also know they will need to start touring outside of Japan at some point.

I am guessing someone pointed out they're on hiatus bc bassist Miho quit. I think the other 4 realize they are too friggin good to stop now!
And don't forget that Miyako had her first child a few months ago.

Good news. My second favorite band from the Land of Nippon. I was afraid the hiatus would be permanent.
Naaaah-I think they need time to deal with Miho's departure and find the right replacement.
@@jon87583 It isn't that easy. Lovebites doesn't even own their own name. Still they deserve another shot at it. I am glad that it appears they will get it.

@@jon87583 Their management. Same with Babymetal and most others of note. I am glad to see whoever realizes even with the loss of a very key member there are several good to great players available and the act is a quality act. I think all they need to worry about is getting a lady that "fits". Your excellent point "right replacement" which as we know means more than just being a very good musician. I wish them every possible success.

Marty Friedman has appeared in Japanese commercials and also normal TV programmes.
For Japanese metal fans, he is a legend but for others, he is just a bloke with long hair speaking near-fluent Japanese.
Only thing is Miyako didn't play enough. As for a bassist, Rio is available!!!
