    My issue is, since the Ceramic blade is a bit longer, when I fully open the lever the metal piece at 2:35 that holds the lever moves forward and touches the back of the blade so it rubs against it and will stop it if you fully open. Not sure if it's easily possible to sand the back of the blade shave off a bit?

      @mikemartinez1951 4 роки тому

      Aye bro you still have that problem with the topaz? I didnt this mod today and like you said fully open lever blade doest move at all. Were you able to fix that?

    • @supra2k8
      @supra2k8 4 роки тому

      @@mikemartinez1951 Yea I fixed my issue, didn't have to do any of the sanding/mod on this video. All I had to do was unscrew/loosen the lever, push it back away from the blade as much as possible, and then re-tighten it. That gave me enough room so when it's fully open it won't touch anything, it gets pretty close tho.

      My quick fix for this: I used a strip of paper (100g weight from my printer), put two holes in it and installed the fixed blade with the paper strip below it. Took enough pressure off the blade to let it move in any lever position.

      The Barber Sharaawys Parce, yo tengo una fast feed edición limitada skullz, le puedo decir que es una máquina muy buena, pequeña, compacta y silenciosa, pero si necesita hacerle unas mejoras si usted es barbero, como cambiarle la cuchilla que se muestra en este tutorial y comprar las guías moradas magnéticas de Andis, pues las que trae la máquina son muy chichis y tal vez se puedan caer.
      Es una buena inversión aunque en Colombia deben ser caritas, pero vale la pena.

    Step one
    Unscrew lever screw along with fast feeds logo on top.
    Step two
    Now all things off use a 150 grit sand paper. Smooth down big bump along with a little bit of gap on bottom bump.
    Step three
    Sanding will take long time. Make it smooth so ceramic blade can move clean. Put all pieces together. Do not loose screws or gold piece along with plastic rod on top.
    You should be able to move blade without horrible noise. Watch to see if blade moves fast.
    Done three clippers it's good for fades only not to take out bulk. Hope this helps.
