Great video! I love how brave you are with setting your camera down for those entering and exiting shots in public spaces. I would be so nervous someone would steal or kick over my camera 😆
Thanks for your comment Jessica! Sometimes, I see even experienced vloggers glance at the flip out screen, but with repetition It should becomes second nature to always look directly into the lens! :)
Inspiring tips thank you. I started vlogging just as everyone is wearing masks, so they can't see my mouth moving LOL. And yeah, my first few vlogs were either me at the top of the mountain or driving
@@MommaMiaVlogs Unfortunately my Tagalog isn't very good, I only can speak a couple of sentences and understand it just a little bit. But I've been thinking about getting some online courses to learn Tagalog because my mother is Filipino. :D I'm half-Filipino and half Finnish! :)
Wow! Really? Kababayan! Hehe. But if you want to learn tagalog, you can actually and try having convos with your mom for you to learn quickly. :) Go go go! ❤🇵🇭
Thanks Alice! :) I really appreciate that cause I put a lot of effort to each video so that they would be enjoyable to watch! I think youtube is a marathon rather than a sprint so it might take time to get more subscribers :)

How do vloggers record good audio while vlogging via their smartphones.? Is a seperate audio recorder recommended or built in smartphone mic does the job ?
There's these adaptors that allow you to connect an external microphone to you smartphone. For example I can use my Rode Video Micro on both dslr/mirrorless cameras and my iPhone with and adapter cable. If you want you can watch my video on how to vlog with a smartphone, for more information here: ua-cam.com/video/d-wJvUAzgEY/v-deo.html
I never though about tip #2 i think it is a great idea, before trying tip #9. I am about to launch my first video and, I am kind of nevious!!! Thank you for the info shared here!!!
For the escalator shot I attached the camera on a rail with a gorillapod, and pressed record and went down and up the escalator. And for coffee shop shot I just put the camera on the ground and walked.
In the last tip you have mentioned small setup..what kind of small setup i can use ? I have a DSLR and Iphone X too I am quite shy to shoot in public but i want to get rid of this shyness
I'm guessing your Iphone might tbe the samallest camera you have? For many people, vlogging is easier with a smaller camera/setup in the beginning because it's more inconspicuous and doesn't draw attetions from other people that much. Maybe you could try to begin vlogging with your Iphone? Also maybe try practising spraking to the camera at home and plan what you're going to talk about, then just go out there in public! With repetition, I'm sure you'll get used to it! You can do it! 😎💪
Those who r not getting the mindset of vlogging in public they might change their thinking that all the persons they r going to meet will be only one time and they will not meet u again My english sucks i hope i have conveyed the meassage
Hi Nico! Most of my music is from the royalty free music site Epidemic Sound. But for the last couple of months I've been using a lot of the music from Musicbed.
Absolutely! Nowadays pretty much all smartphones have good enough image quality and the best camera often is the one you already have, and everyone has a smartphone! :)
That's great, the Iphone 11 is has amazing video quality! 👍 Unfortunately I speak very little Tagalog, I need to practise more and ask my cousin Kuya Dondon to teach me! 😅 Any ways, Panatilihin mong maganda ang iyong ginagawa! Hope I said that correctly!

How did you get the shots of yourself at a distance? For instance, taking the escalator, or entering the coffee shop?
For the escalator shot I attached the camera on a rail with a gorillapod, and pressed record and went down and up the escalator. And for coffee shop shot I just put the camera on the ground and walked.
