My high school choir never did this song, but I first heard it on TikTok and really liked it so I decided to learn the lyrics. Now every time I hear it, I can’t quit singing along. I’m just slightly confused by the fact that you guys are doing it to honor a teacher that passed away.
I’m preforming this as an Alto 1/Alto 2 (My director switches me in between the two for this song) today and I’m so nervous because it’s our choirs first performance of this song but we also are preforming it on the 28th of October so I’m excited for that as well. Definitely fun to listen to the harmonies the Sopranos make! 🎼💙
My choir is singing it and it was just announced today, I also listened to the SATB version and it nearly brought me to tears. Another tear worthy song we sang was “While The Snow Lay Sleeping” with a cello. It was beautiful! I can’t wait to sing this!
