They are actually adding 4 tracks to be included with the subscription: Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, Snetterton Circuit, Circuit de Lédenon, and Winton Motor Raceway
As some have already pointed out, the tracks listed at 8:24 are being added to the free-included base tracks on iRacing. This is exciting for someone like me who enjoys racing road, but hesitates to purchase more road courses in order afford oval content as it's my main focus. Excited to have the chance to try these tracks!
The Australian Supercar update may be the Generation 3 cars, which in real life are about to start their 2nd season with this car iteration. There was a bit of speculation in this part of the world when Supercars themselves stated that the cars were being laser scanned, as part of the equalisation programme undertaken between seasons, and that the scans could be used by iRacing to update the cars. Also hopefully, as iRacing did scan Pukekohe a while ago, then this might be released. It would be the 1st New Zealand track in iRacing, one which Supercars visited many times as part of the championship.
well there was a gen 3 camaro and mustang sent to charlotte over december but its supercars so being smart isnt in their notes. And im saying this as an australian. More hoping for some of the tracks, like street courses and so on.
Cant wait for the Nurb 24 for rain to come in during the night and only half the track is wet, that will be great to see the chaos ensue. And as a Brit, it will be nice to race in proper British weather.
@ParDeRuz yeah that is true, but I hope there is atleast a series run at the Nurburgring with rain. I can also see the Le Mans 24 Hour series race being similar with rain covering part of the track as is common at the real life Le Mans 24 as all cars will have rain physics.
Maaaan, I’ve been on the service since 2011. I remember when updates where a car or a track, and on a good update it was both. Along with maybe a new tire version. Quarterly updates were still exciting to see what’s coming, but NOTHING like post Covid. I love it!
Not sure you touched on it, but in the post, they said they're also refreshing all NASCAR tracks and bringing them up to the date so they can co-exist with their new NASCAR '25 game.
I walked out of the room when you mentioned the rain bit, came back and was about to comment "So glad they finally announced rain" sarcastically, then heard you mention something about it again, holy crap! Whoever thought T1 could get any worse!
I bet they’ll be doing a couple dirt ovals from Australia. the Australians seem to love dirt sprints and late models. I believe ratbag (infogrames) that did dirt track racing 1 and 2 and outlaws 2001 was an Australian dev team.
They were recently in Australia as Greg put out a post asking Yaris owners if he could record their engine, since it’s the same one used in the new Dallara they’re releasing
Cant wait for Micros, Millbridge and SRX Also the road split is fun. I'll definetely run open wheelers more now Im a fendered guy and not even a road guy but I was scared to run open wheeled cars cause of my halfway stable rating from running fendered cars
Man, I can't wait for them to add rain to Oval racing, just imagine just after practice time you get an announcement that the race is postponed due to bad weather! So realistic!
Peak realism - load in to a short track in a late model or modified, practice and qualify, sit in the garage screen for an hour with clouds, and then have an automessage saying no race due to weather, come back in two hours. Bonus points if they have the pace truck drive around the whole time dragging a model of a single tractor tire.
Oh man I'm so glad they're adding an active time split thing to the UI, I like all the series that seem "dead" until you the discord and accompanying timeslot
Oswego was actually not announced previously. They've been trying to get that place signed for years now (Jr was very public on his podcast in past years about having a hard time getting it signed). Hopefully this means that iRacing is considering adding a supermodified in the future as well.
I was hoping they’d take the trophie truck tracks off the back burner for a sec it seems like they were close to releasing Lucas oil off-road track a while ago and that looks like one of the coolest off-road tracks to exist
Looks like a great set of updates! Splitting the road classes makes a lot of sense. I still wish we could get some different tuning for super speedways (especially Talladega).
Drive smart , You're better to cruse and stay outta the way , like me , been on the service sense 2016 . Knew of it sense 2010. Safety rating is king . Do not drive crazy or even touch another person's vehicle. If you wanna get to A license. I only run A or B because all the noobs in D or C , who never last. I hope you do! Hope you have fun and enjoy it.
Oswego speedway is huge news! You should dig into it more on another video. 5/8 mile oval that is home to 900+ hp supermodifieds, is one of the oldest tracks in the US, and it gets covered in dirt annually for the biggest dirt modified race of the year.
I'm very interested and concerned about the graphical hit rain will do to my machine. I run a Quest 3 on a 7900XTX and 5800X3D, and I can still hit 40fps (briefly, but still jarring) at the green flag on a sunny day. I'm afraid I'll take a big hit with rain, especially since iRacing hasn't really worked on AMD optimization. I'm still really excited, but I'm very much looking forward to seeing how my machine handles rain.
I haven't vibed well with iRacing ever since that tyre model change like 1 or 2 years ago, when was it? The cars suddenly spinned out when you looked at them wrong, and now with added rain, I'm sure it will only get worse. So, I'm letting my sub end this month.. Guess I should try ACC next..
In my opinion they should release rain as well as some smaller updates like two weeks early so that we can practice and get used to rain before official races have it and also so we done have everything In this huge update all at once
Micro sprints may actually be easy + fun enough to get people more into dirt oval, dirt ai could as well and now that tempest is rolling well hopefully they can make progress on that
I'm glad I'm updating my pc this weekend, gonna get hammered with the new graphical / rain updates 😅 Keen for the licence split and new baby super formula. Hopefully the supercar update is the gen 3, but I'm not overly hopeful, as they only scanned them a few months ago? No idea what Australian tracks they're planning on
the road split will definetly get me to do more road series, im a prototype driver and grinded to 4K with the LMP3/2 and GTP, I completely suck at anything open wheel
dont get me wrong i love that they split road, but is it just me that i think protypes like lmp2 and lmp cars would fit more the driving style of formula cars, maybe iam wrong, just my opinion
I took a semester of German in college so I'm *obviously* an expert in German pronunciation. The Americanized pronunciation of Oschersleben should be somewhat like "OH-shers-layben." At least that's how I've been saying it. Sachsenring should be something like "socks-en-ring." In terms of UK tracks, I hope they scan Cadwell Park!
the license split is awesome to see but I hope some day they will split it per license's (A,B,C,D) or even per series would be nice (combining open and fixed tho) idk a man can dream! haha
New members will have to go through a process of racing scenarios with the AI before being allowed to progress and race will real people. That’s going to be huge.
Your second pronunciation of Sachsenring was correct! You pronounced it exactly like its meant to be in German, which is really hard for foreigners! The Sa*chs*en is super weird if you’re not speaking German natively.
But when it’s in the order sch you have to say it like the sh in Shit. So the other track would just be read like Oshersleben. And Motorsport Arena is basically pronounced like in English, the words are the same in German. Now you know how to pronounce those two tracks. Feel free to consult me for everything German!
I hope they continue to work on the in-game UI element mock-ups. What they have shown looks very uninspired. It’s the same as current state, just with a flat grey background.
And always remember, guys .... Put your Ego on back burner and advance your FUN in the game , by running all your content up at B lic A lic ect . Unless your fast. I mean VERY fast , mite as well chill. Use your wheel , drive around , it's still fun af , like a chess match , to suck and see if you can get like 8th , started 21st lol , so there is something for everyone. But, to wreck for 9th place is beyond lame af.
How many times I had to apologize to my teammates before endurance races for my 'too high' iRating due to open wheel racing. Finally that is over. :) Btw: Sachsenring was pronounced just fine!
They are actually adding 4 tracks to be included with the subscription: Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, Snetterton Circuit, Circuit de Lédenon, and Winton Motor Raceway
Will we be getting a refund for having purchased them when they came out?
@@BiIboSwaggins Probably if it was within a year. That's what they did for the Ferrari update recently. But I wouldn't hold my breath.
@@POP7QWIZ Ah well, I bought them whenever they released. So I am not holding mine either. Would've been nice, but not that big of a deal.
@@POP7QWIZI find that very surprising. I’ve always thought of iracing as a “tough luck” kind of company.
That a good one

Same thing I said, was looking for someone to say it. Does seem fun to drive too!
Can we talk about that in-sim UI mock up, and how that conversation in the chat log is way too damned realistic? Lol
LOL just noticed that
Cant wait for the Nurb 24 for rain to come in during the night and only half the track is wet, that will be great to see the chaos ensue. And as a Brit, it will be nice to race in proper British weather.
I hope that comes this year. But they still gotta add it to the other classes: cup, gt4, tcr, and probably gr86
@ParDeRuz yeah that is true, but I hope there is atleast a series run at the Nurburgring with rain. I can also see the Le Mans 24 Hour series race being similar with rain covering part of the track as is common at the real life Le Mans 24 as all cars will have rain physics.

8:59 "hopefully Rockingham"
*looks to the top right search bar*
Dude someone teased Rockingham in my discord so I tried to search it hahaha
I really appreciate these videos DJ! Your channel is the first one I check whenever an update comes out.
As soon as rain arrives, I'm testing at my favorite road courses in the Ferrari: Watkins Glen and the Nordschleife!

I wonder if the surprise on the vehicle front from Oz is the S5000's since we know the Supercars are coming?
It would be ironically on brand, as similar to the SRX, their season was cancelled for this year due to a few factors.
Yo I’m about to buy iracing and I’m excited 😁😁😁😁

I think this is the biggest update since I joined the service. Previously, I said that was the day night transitions release.
You were really close about the Sachsenring :)
Question does Indy car have rating in both road and oval?
Sachsenring is my local track, can't wait for it, its awesome 😍😍😍
6:55 is that a Mustang GT3? The course shown is not an oval.
Hoping the Australia tease is the Adelaide Street Circuit
8:45 You did say Sachsenring correctly, kudos for that!
The new track type icons are more confusing than they need to be, old ones were perfect
Good video, cheers!
People gonna love the rain for a month and then hate it for the rest of their lives, calling it now.
That Daytona bump thing happened to me last night. I got spun when the guy was on me, but didn't hit me.
I just got back into iracing and wow, what a time.

Anglesey
Cadwell Park

how long have they even been working on rain
at least a week

Just in time! Every change is good!
I can’t wait for random rain to delay my NIS race by 3 hours
ive noticed that with trading paints, my helmet and paints are hit and miss if they will show up on the ui
So what are stock cars on road courses going to count for? I assume sports car
Your Sachsenring pronunciation turned out pretty good
Micro sprints may actually be easy + fun enough to get people more into dirt oval, dirt ai could as well and now that tempest is rolling well hopefully they can make progress on that
Can’t wait to compare the micro sprints and midgets on the new dirt track
Now on top of triple screens and a fourth screen for timing screen, I'll need a fifth screen for a weather radar/info.😎
I’m extremely excited for the rain, i must admit though, I wanted to do some test laps in the rain at New Hampshire in the next gen so bad lol
They need to do Sportsland Sugo, because that's my main track IRL..hehehe
As I am from Sachsen (Saxony) you pronounced that absolutely correctly.
Thruxton would be amazing on iracing.
Rockingham
Cadwell park
Mallory park.
