I'm really enjoying your content. Just wanted to say thank you for the time and effort you put into making all of this. I realize fully how much work it must be. But it is so wonderful that you have provided such high quality raw footage of real racing of all sorts. And your commentary is extraordinarily thought provoking and informative. How else would I ever know about team strategies or some of the other quite complex issues you address? This allows me to learn a bit more about what it might be like if I were to commit seriously to cycling and see how I might perform in some sort of competitive event. I'm 55 this Nov, fairly muscle bound, 185 pds (quite lean) at 6'1", have had many major invasive surgeries over my life, and live today without a colon or bladder. I know fully well that this old body, with it's herniated disk is not the makings of a race body. But like you, it's about pushing as hard as I can, improving as much as I can. And have seen amazing progress in only about 6 months, really the last three months after I bought a carbon specialized (love it). What you're video's have taught me is that this type of preparation for cycling is not optional. Everybody who is any good has to train, and train smart. If they don't, they leave potential at the starting line. So, you and your colleagues have inspired me, and that is simply invaluable. I subscribe, like each video as I watch (and I've watched a LOT of them), and now I will start to leave comments on each of them because this is content that I believe many people would enjoy, lean from and be inspired by! I hope you do see this note, I'm leaving it here because I don't know where else I would contact you. If there are additional ways in which I can support you and others in the cycling world working to create content like this, I'd be very happy to talk with you about that. Thank you again for producing content that I believe is quite extraordinary. I hope you continue to find it as rewarding as your viewers do.

That second crash was brutal, looked like the guy hit his head and it took a fair amount of impact.
This course looked pretty cool though. Love seeing towns embrace crits like this.

It was a brutal wreck. He was down for a bit. I don't know what became of him, but I hope he's okay!

Why was the speed indicating 8kph before the race had even started?

Haha. For some reason, all of the software that adds overlays seems to have a hard time if someone is just sitting still...

Nice video - could you please turn down the pointless wind noise?

Sadly I only caught that after the video was uploaded. Apparently, when I turned it down, I must have only gotten the first clip, not the whole video.

@@TacomaCyclist Sounds good. If you're out travelling the country racing in 2022, we'll put you up for the Tour of Somerville weekend. Lots of fun.
