While I was never there for when Wrath of the Lich King first came out I'm still glad to say that my first ever experience with Warcraft, in general, was with a Wrath of the Lich King a private server granted but I do believe I got the best experience I could have because it was a blizzlike server and after doing all the raids possible (from nax 10-RS25hc) I think I can say with the high degree of confidence that at least for me wrath of the lich King was the best expansion
I feel like now with the current animated short this needs an update which would make it so much more tragic, absolutely love it and still come back to this video every time.

There..must..always..be..a king... when Arogant Titans , when hungering burning armies with glee at last stands towering over hordes and allies allike...the earth will become restless and they will grin back at despicble gods of both light and darkness through blood soaked cracked teeths... ,as countless worlds through out the cosmos grows restless , as countless Eons of the dead trampled underfoot by self rightious and hungering gods..rises...to rend self rightious and hungering dark gods from existance with only ther futile rage to echo for a brief moment as the endless dead claims retribution.

The game now trying to recreate these days and hakan back to these moments and it just falls so flat, the game now is so out of touch to with what it was, that they dont even feel like the same game, and it truly saddens me, the memories i have of these times, and playing with those friends i made is what kept me playing so long. Some of the lines and the amazing music of the game then still sends chills down my spine, but its true no kings reigns forever and im finally unsubbing from the game ive loved for so long, its time to say goodbye. It was truly an experiance im so glad i lived through. So to the Heros of the Alliance, the Champions of the Horde,one final time FOR AZEROTH!!!
As much as I want this, Arthas is kinda perma-dead.Garrosh got out by the skin of his teeth, but Arthas is in the Great Dark. However, Bolvar is still Unalive and kicking, he even threatened the Deathlord (Death Knight Ebon Blade leader) on multiple occasions. And the sad thing? Bolvar was still good before he had the Helm of Domination put on his head. That goes to show that the Helm still corrupts the wearer just as Frostmourne did. tl;dr Arthas is Dead. Evil Bolvar Lich King is still a remote possibility.

I love the Litch King story. However Illidan had a tragic love story that is 10,000 years old.
