HDL is also called good cholesterol and LDL is bad cholesterol... So total cholesterol being high doesn't always mean that it's bad
If your good cholesterol is bad, that's bad. His total cholesterol is high for his age and the great shape he is in. I would bet he has familial high cholesterol
The ratio between the total cholesterol and HDL is more important than just looking at the numbers; ask your doc about it.

The fact that you asked Josh’s why for having a beer once in a while is extremely immature. You’ve mentioned in the past that you choose not to drink because you’re not the best version of you while under the influence. That doesn’t mean other people can’t handle their sh** while drinking alcohol once in a while. And talking about him having the discipline to straight up never drink again had nothing to do with his discipline in a whole. If he doesn’t have an alcohol issue then he should be able to allow himself a drink
Actually she is a recovering alcoholic, went to treatment in her younger days. Its not just worse version of herself. The point is ,as they've talked about it before..and Josh himself said he was drinking every single night, then every time he's stressed he drank anytime he was hanging out, he drank. He was trying to function and NOT relying on alchohol to function
When Josh said his first blood pressure reading was 123/70 with white coat, I laughed because when anyone comes at me with a blood pressure cuff it's min 150/90 and sometimes goes as high as 180 depending on much I can actually try and chill lmao I get the whole white coat syndrome ugh!!!

Guys you need to get the ratio to see if your cholesterol is in trouble. Look up how to get the ratio. Drs often won't tell you this because they like to push cholesterol drugs

I love ur family Yours and the Churco family are my faces! But in this podcast Annie coming across quite a don't know like if you drink she will make u pay later. You can't can't not want someone to do something because it doesn't suit u or u are not a good person on alcohol. Josh, see your primary care physician. You will probably need to be put on cholesterol medication. I'm on them. There is also a test that you can take ( blood test) to see if your cholesterol is genetic, meaning if your children will get high cholesterol. Young children can have genetically linked high cholesterol
Skin tags are a sign of insulin resistance. If you have insulin resistance for a long time, it can turn to diabetes.

Dehydration doesn't cause high cholesterol. Josh you need to have a cardiac calcium score. It's a simple CT scan. You're in the machine for 30 seconds. Diabetes is genetic.
