@@vtphan2012 It doesn't clip at all and easily handles both vox and guitar with hi fidelity. The LBP has good power and headroom as well as good throw. I perform at some out door venues, even a stage on the beach frequently and thus I crank it up and my musician friends all agree how great it sounds. I'm sure you can overdrive it if you put it on eleven LOL but it's been a solo amp for both vox and guitar for over a decade. I own four Loudbox amps and I perform over 200 shows a year up and down the Florida coast and if this amp couldn't handle it, I would have been using something else a long time ago. I'm very picky about tone and clarity, especially for my voice. At a 180watts, an 8 in sub, 5 in mid, 2 in tweeter and built in crossover, Fishman knocked it out the park with this amp for the most part.
We all play gigs, we know how it works and what to expect; but it always bothers me to see great talent like this in front of a parking lot apparently unappreciated. I applauded. At least you're in the shade.
Bill Gardella Nice to meet you Bill & I appreciate your kind thoughts here. Thank God we play for the joy of it first ya know! ...the owner here does take good care of me tho, & I'm grateful for it. :)
Your welcome and thank you for the kind words! Enjoy your new Taylor and let me know how you like the Performer when you get it. I've helped musicians all over when they have questions about the Loudbox amps. I have four of them as I play around 200 shows a year with them. God bless!!!
Having checked out a bunch of videos on the Performer. You are the best real world advertisement on YT for what this amp can do for guitar and vocals. And , it’s all done with a superb song selection - you should be financially endorsed by Fishman.
Thank you John for such kind & generous comments! ...I truly enjoy the Loudbox series & also have The Artist which was my first venture into Fishman amps. LOL! I wish you all the best & thanks again!! ...eric
Sounds great! Can you please tell me your settings on the loudbox? It would be much appreciated. I just got the LBP also have a mini bit needed the papa bear to play a graduation party soon.
Thank you Sid!! ...settings can vary from venue to venue, the type of guitar, type of pickup as well as your pick, strings and style of play so my settings may not be right for you. That said I would try to set your guitar's pick up flat, then by ear, dial in your eq. I have found the following settings as a general rule to be a good starting point: Gain-10 o'clock, Low-9-10 o'clock, Mid-7 o'clock, High-8 o'clock AF-5 o'clock... try that to start & best wishes!
@@uncaskillet Good initial settings! I play a J-45 with a LB Mini. The type of guitar and pickup makes a big difference. My bass is usually set at noon, mid 9 o'clock and treble at 11,

Congrats on a fine guitar! ...make sure you tweak the adjustable poles to optimize balance & tone. Don't place the pickup all the way forward or else you lose 5th fret harmonics. You will also find that the M80 needs a nice mid cut around 200-300hz. Best wishes on a nice system!

Thank you Jeremy... yes I do like the Beta 57 for vox because I play out side a lot and it cuts down on wind noise. This ain't the 57 of old we used to mic our amps with, it really sounds nice & airy. However, in the last two years the 57a Beta has become my back up to the Sennheiser e945 I currently use which i like a bit more.
Thank you Lee for your kind words! I plug my vocal mic and guitar directly into this Fishman Loudbox Performer. I don’t use pedals, however, the amp has built in reverb, delay, chorus and a couple others but I usually use only a small amount of delay to fatten things up a bit. On this performance though I used a small amount of reverb only. I’ve been using Loudbox amps for a decade now and they work well for my needs and style. Fishman is a great company with top shelf customer service and support. All the best to you Lee and thank you for chiming in!
@@uncaskillet wow… that’s a very impressive sound for going straight into the amp. But,, you’re a very good vocalist. I’m going to look into one of these. thanks!
Nice performance and that amp sounds incredible. Just lower the bass slightly so it doesn't overpower your singing- and bump up the vocals. Good guitar should simply "compliment" the rest of the (1 man) band. That space also provided nice acoustics but also emphasizes the bass. At 6:02 that seagull joined the party- provide some nice backing vocals!
Thank you David for your kind comments! ...I normally use Takamine Pro Series guitars, but I used my D-18 on this day & it is a bit bass heavy. I no longer use the Baggs M80 in this guitar, I replaced it with a DeArmond Tone Boss which is a bit more balanced. But still my Taks are my main working guitars as a full-time musician.
With a cord to an outlet, this amp is not battery powered... Fishman does make a small battery powered amp called the Loudbox Mini Charge that sounds wonderful.

Great singing mate and the tone on that guitar is amazing. Did you choose that location for the scenery because the foot traffic is not looking good. Cheers from New Zealand.
Thank you Richard for your kind words... this venue is a small café and I was doing a laid back Saturday morning brunch, very mellow and this was the first song. It was early before the brunch crowd came, it gets crowded after awhile. As far as tone, it's just my D18 with a Baggs M80 mag pickup plugged straight into a Fishman Loudbox Performer; same with my vocal mic SM57a Beta. Cheers mate & thanks again! :)
