Travelled up to Blackpool from Liverpool on Monday night; thought I’d see the Illuminations for the first time since the early 1980s. Thanks to your videos, I know Blackpool like the back of my hand, so I didn’t get lost. Rained the whole time I was there - didn’t care one bit. Really enjoyed my visit… I’ll be back.
Love seeing all different areas of Blackpool, to me looks ever so vast, Would get lost and clueless where I would be. Yes. The sirens after you. Silence is golden ! Haha. Think they must know you were coming, double whammy Stephen. Oh my days. Always seems generally also a lot bigger houses in and around Blackpool and outskirts. All you’re biking about. And burning off mega calories, be able nibble more crisps and tuc biscuits. Love tucs and the cheese sandwich ones too. Lol. Stanley park. Never been in, but been zoo. Hope one day to visit that park. Had no idea there was a model village or show ground. Also can get great views and different areas of Blackpool and beyond. Keep up good work. Have. Great weekend. Di xx.
Thank you for all the time and effort you put into making these videos so interesting. It is really appreciated, but please don't let it take over your life. Look after yourself and thanks for your advice with the link to membership of the channel. All OK now. Best Regards.
Thank you Stephen for showing us yet another side to Blackpool, the police seem to wait till you start filming and then set off the sirens! Some really lovely houses but well well out of my pocket. The leaves falling shouldn't be too much of a surprise, it's autumn after all. Thanks again for your time we all appreciate it.😊😊😊
Another very interesting video Steve, it's not just the new houses that have a problem with subsidence, some of the Victorian houses got it but they are still standing. The department of works and pensions building is coming a long nicely. Good to see you cycle around Blackpool. Xxx
Hi Stephen thank you for another great video as always that was a nice area and plenty of trees lol love Stanley park some really nice houses near there too have a great day xx
Hahaha! The pink toilet at the end of Whitegate Drive, there used to be a black private shop not far from it 😂 I lived on Leeds Rd for years. Im sorry I'll stop waffling on all of your videos now, I'm just feeling very nostalgic
I used to visit one of those big houses with my auntie sissy she had two friends, they had all worked in the theatre as show girls as I remember, and my aunties husband worked with one of the breweries back in the days of horse and Cart I'd give anything to be able to chat to her now I'm older ❤
Lovely video again stephen love you showing us round all these places of blsckpool we don’t see thanks again mate and it’s always kicking off when your filming lol
Love watching your videos. Only moved here 18 months ago so enjoy exploring the area with you. You always just miss our estate though lol, maybe one day you will cover the "ways" Torsway etc. And kingscote park. Interesting history as to why we are all "ways"
Hi Steve, is the Ramsdon Hotel still there, it use to be opposite the flying Handbag . You have to pass the North railway station, or as it been knocked out for the regeneration. It was Christmas 25 years ago when I used the hotel for drinks. I guy called Albert owned it … cheers
Stephen it’s another great video and we managed to go just we’re you’ve been in this video. Will be back hopefully in October so hopefully catch up with you. Please try and get a ride on a balloon tran and hope yours looks nice on the fire place x Nige n Sue.
It's so true ,when you start filming ,something noisy,or in front of camara happens ,always on intro,a was on quiet countryside road my last vidio, and moter bikes just appeared lol ,there the worst 😂
Every place has their good and bad side, just like every human, but I still love Blackpool.. has anyone heard anything about Richard devere since he quit Blackpool?
Remember those houses subsiding. I thought it was late 70's or 80's. Remember sheets with writing about Fairclough homes being hung on the front of the affected houses.
Thanks Stephen, could you tell us what Gorton Street is like, i'm viewing a house there at weekend, i know its near the streets you have been saying is rough in this and few vids ago, love all your vids really getting to know the streets
Those are nice properties by weymouth way a lot of traffic there wowsers north park drive looks really expensive yeeaaaaay Cookson Street 🤣🤣🤣🤣 nope we know all about Cookson St 😂😂 Brilliant video till the next one 😊
Just come back from Blackpool! Had a fab 4 nights, absolutely jiggered from walking but loved every minute! LOOKED around to see if we could spot you Stephen, alas we did not see you. Would love to come back in Nov when Swan Lake is showing!
I love when you show all the good & bad bits of Blackpool. The Stanley Park area is beautiful 😍 though & the best thing that happened to Layton is the demolition of those horrible druggie flats 😮
you are the man for gadgets Stephen, I am sure you will solve it. IMO it was as "smooth as a cashmere codpiece" (Rowan Atkinson)@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it wouldn’t be a Wildside video if there wasn’t an emergency siren of some kind in the video or stream. Cookson Street say no more!!
Even though some of the streets are rough you would be buying a solid built house for a bargain price. Go to work, come home, mind your own business and I doubt anyone would bother you.
I’d love it if they extended the tram tracks 🚊

Good one Stephen. And just thought I'd ask, when are they due to finish that tram link from Blackpool North? Seems to have been going on forever!

Stephen, did you get an electric StarBike? You rode a lot of miles without any huffing and puffing.
Shhhhh! We will find out soon!

Thanks. It’s a DJI Osmo Pocket and I handhold it, but I’d like to fix it to the bike if I can find a way to keep it stable & not judder.
