Well then you definitely should've gotten the true product. I asked because some products on Amazon are fake. Maybe add just a drop of your moisturizer or a hydrating serum if you have it on the back of your hand and mix together slightly enough to make it more smooth.

For most people you will do fine with this strength. They do sell a 0.5% that is not as strong. You could play it safe and start with it instead. If you have aged skin, I would go with stronger. If you are young and just getting started then 0.5% would be fine to begin with :)

I bought this with your recommendation. I do not have sensitive skin. Is it normal for it to feel a little burn? Nothing bad but it was there. My face felt super super dry the next day and I had a couple of red splotches on my face. I thought this didn't have the usual side effects (dry, peeling skin). I wore sunscreen as always, but I'm not sure if I like this. I wanted to buy their advanced wrinkle corrector as a recommendation from Dr Dray but it's discontinued.
Hi, did this happen with just one use? This is what I would expect more with tretinoin which is much stronger. Sounds like you're very sensitive. You can try mixing it with a moisturizer to weaken the potency. In the winter I sometimes have to do that because of getting dryer skin. I would wait a few days to try this though since your skin is already compromised.

@@prncess20 I would let the irritation clear up and do not use during that time. Then I would mix this with a moisturizer that you know your skin does well with. I would do a patch test. Only apply it to a small area to see if you have irritation again.

I would use something without retionl on the face while the skin clears back up, then do the patch test with it mixed with the moisturizer. It will be stronger than olay but a little weaker than what you purchased so that your skin may tolerate that better

Hi I can't say for sure on the percentage but I know it's delivered slowly which makes people tolerate it better. I have people sometimes switch from differin to this especially if they have drier skin. Sometimes the other ingredients in Differin irritate or over dry. But I have patients who have very oily skin prefer Differin
You may only wanna do your cheeks twice a week and the rest of your face every night or every other! That's what I do typically because I'm the same. In the winter though I usually only do my jawline every night just because of blackheads but the rest I do twice a week. You just have to learn what your skin can tolerate.
They just came out with a serum that's easier. I don't notice as strong of a smell though honestly. Sorry! I do have a deviated septum though and don't smell well.

I think this is really too drying to the under eye. I like using close to crows feet which you likely don't have at 19. I would try an eye cream specifically for dark circles and puffiness but unfortunately eye creams are not perfect. We have a couple that I think make a decent difference. I wouldn't put it directly under, I'd get the eye cream so that it doesn't over dry because it'll make it look like more lines! It's fine to do crow's feet
I'm new to the whole retinol thing as my crows feet are getting pretty bad, I'm 42 and thought I'd try olay regenerist night cream, it says it's a night cream so I put it directly under my eyes the past few nights and I swear my wrinkles look worse! The creases are going longer down. My son even said mum you got bad wrinkles. Like they are more noticeable. What am I doing wrong and what do you recommend for under my eyes directly? Also I've just in the last month developed eczema on the outer corner of both my eyes, it's itchy and sore and I can't get it to go away. I feel like I'm falling apart.
Yeah, that product was too drying for you! Also don't use anything that's not designed for the eye area or it will make it worse.it is usually too thick unless it's an eye cream. I wouldn't put it directly under, I'd get the eye cream so that it doesn't over dry because it'll make it look like more lines! It's fine to do crow's feet

I'm new to the whole retinol thing as my crows feet are getting pretty bad, I'm 42 and thought I'd try olay regenerist night cream, it says it's a night cream so I put it directly under my eyes the past few nights and I swear my wrinkles look worse! The creases are going longer down. My son even said mum you got bad wrinkles. Like they are more noticeable. What am I doing wrong and what do you recommend for under my eyes directly?
Also I've just in the last month developed eczema on the outer corner of both my eyes, it's itchy and sore and I can't get it to go away. I feel like I'm falling apart.

Yeah, that product was too drying for you! Also don't use anything that's not designed for the eye area or it will make it worse.it is usually too thick unless it's an eye cream. Serucell Eye Serum is the best I've found! I reviewed this on my channel too with a photo I took of my friend whose in her 60s. This is worth the price!

They do not sell RetrinAl in the UK nor in the EU. Does anybody know if PhysioLift is the equivalent? I am trying it, but it doesn't say 'night' on the packaging and it has retinaldehyde. If anybody knows, appreciate the info. Thank you!
