    FINAL HAIR UPDATE:
I kept this style in for 6.5 weeks...wayyy longer than I anticipated lol. A month, month and a half max is the amount of time I suggest keeping crochet styles such as this in your hair. I used the same maintenance routine as I showed in my mini twist maintenance routine video. Only difference, is I've started implemented the Sulfur 8 hair and scalp conditioner to help treat my scalp psoriasis.
    TAKEDOWN TECHNIQUE:
I start by looking for the opening at the base of the loc where my hair is peeking through, and I pull the rest of my twist from the inside of the loc. Then I undo the bas knot of crochet loc and carefully pull the loc out. Another technique I used was undoing the crochet base knot first, then I removed my twist from the inside of the loc, and carefully pulled the crochet hair from the base of my twist. Sometimes the crochet hair gets tangled with your hair, with patience and a good mirror, you can snip the crochet hair off if you can clearly tell the difference between your hair and the crochet hair.
    DETANGLING TECHNIQUE:
To detangle, I used an apple cider vinegar rinse. I mixed about 1/4 cup (you could even use less) with warm water in a large spray bottle. Then I spray the root of my hair where the build up is. I saturate the section of hair with the ACV, then work it in with my fingers. Next, I use my comb again to comb out any left-over dirt, then I put the hair up in a clip. When I have a decent amount of hair in the clip, I take it down and twist it up...that's it!!!

A word of advice: talk about fast hair growth fortified shampoo to double hair growth.
