What's happening to this channel in 2023?

Here's a little update on what changes are happening next year for me, and what that looks like for this channel.

Good stuff Mark, congrats on the growing family... brave man ;) You've hit it on the head. No point if you're not having fun. I usually avoid 'big' channels but I recently started watching Mark Rober as wifey enjoys it too. He is pretty much bang on the perfect UA-camr. Educational and entertaining with a wide appeal. Best of luck with the new business, Im sure it will fuel many tricks-of-the-trade shorts. How many more watch hours do you need?

You make great content and you do amazing projects, like that one scooter you restored. That piece was an absolute work of art. You are young and have had a career that has led you to a point to where you can focus on something that may very well take you to new and greater heights, which I very much hope it does. Shorts seem to do well on YT, they're kinda like commercials that get to a lot more people than the vids do and stand the potential of bringing them to your channel. That said, Ill tell ya what I tell all others and it seems to work....just be and do you. Folks will either like you or not, those that do, great. Those that dont, well, you dont need them anyway. With your new venture you will be making a living and the YT thing can be building over the years for when you decide to retire and could potentially be a nice retirement income at that time for you. And then you can enjoy the projects you do and perhaps there will be grandchildren in those later years to inspire you to do those projects at that time. Enjoy what life offers you and make what you can out of it. You seem to be doing that very well. Liking the beard on ya, by the way. Looks good on ya.

New sub mate. I don't find enough Aussie youtubers in this game. A constant flood of Americans though. I'd rather see stiff that's appropriate to us here. Gear available, materials etc and in metric language lol.
