I could watch elephants all day
The African Elephants are such magnificent beasts.. They need to be protected at all costs
Look at the tiny calf so adorable n trembling to get up n walk. Mother n baby bond is miracle of nature.

Elephants are very united and family ties are what makes them strong. How many times have I seen the matriarchs guided the flock to the good pastures. In addition to being the largest mammals of the earth, they have a phenomenal memory. I saw a report of two sisters who found themselves after 20 years. It was a moment of rare tenderness. I like them so much.

They're soooooooo freaking precious, I can't contain myself!!
I know, don't you want to just hug them at that age!? The large ones are also touching to observe because of their intelligence and the care they take to protect the babies in such gentle ways! For an animal so big and powerful, and a bit clumsy, it's amazing to watch them keep the little ones out of harm's way due to their great curiosity.

People need to take very seriously the fact that each species that falls to extinction, even the smallest insect, brings humans closer to our own end.
