20:30-40 - Oh, my GOD, I can't believe it!!! A shrine in the middle of this super techno, industrialized area!!! Hidden though it is, knowing it's there, surrounded by pipes and super electronic stores and products and super-techno-everything, is wow, absolutely fantastic! And I love this area anyway! Akihabara with its cybernetic Heaven on the one hand, and this spiritual, mysterious hidden spot that shelters a shrine on the other hand! It simply gives me goosebumps. Love it!!!

I was in Tokyo in 2013. And I walked in Akihabara for a couple of days in a row. Amazing place. It's looks like a city from the movie "Blade Runner". One day I will go to Japan again. And again i will walking on Akihabara. Thank you for video!

Actually the only places in the world besides the underdeveloped world that do not have nice cities is the USA and Canada. You can thank the desire to live in suburban sprawl for that. Our cities need to be fixed, people need to want to live in them again. The USA is the richest country in the world but it does not show up the same way. It shows up as over scaled freeways, immense suburban sprawl, massive skyscrapers, big inner city megaprojects, but nobody lives there, tourists tend to notice all the urban decay. In theory all our cities should look something like Tokyo, but they do not.

Nice video! i feel like if i was to find myself alone in this big city, i would be scared shitless, since i don't know the language and don't think can communicate with people in English as not many of them speak it. Large cities like this can give you a panicky feeling but at the same time are fascinating and riveting.
This is my favorite place to walk around in Tokyo. Playing Pokemon Go is insane there, plus there are tons of other people playing too. In Tokyo, I feel perfectly safe. ❤️
I'm back for the HDR version. There's 3 places I always automatically MUST go when I'm in Tokyo: 1. Akihabara, always. 2. Nakano 3. Some random coffee shop near Matsubara station. Been there dozens of times, can't remember the name of the shop, but I can tell you exactly where it is and the name of the owners lol. Some of the best coffee I have ever tasted my entire life. Once I hit all 3 objectives, then i can venture out to different areas of Tokyo before I leave.

There's another one i like the next station over at Shimo Takaido called Coffee & Roaster that I really love too. Theres a few more local coffee shops throughout Tokyo that I have no clue what their names are that I have been to a few times, but I can remember exactly how to get there lol.

I do have him on video, as I also record all videos in 360 at the same time, as a sort of security camera. But if he really is associated with something like the yakuza, I dont think there is any point trying to agitate them. Better to just carry on and continue filming as normal

I think a road without a car is a big deviation. I think people's brains and minds sometimes need such ventilation. It's more important than you think. In this regard, Matsuri culture in every part of Japan is very special. It's a perfect day out of the ordinary. So every country, city and village needs festivals like Matsuri! - K from seoul

I feel like with so many people around you, would that not have been a deterrent!? Not to mention, there were a lot of police nearby from what I could see? What fascinates me is that in each of your videos people seem unfazed by your filming and half the time don’t even acknowledge you, so this makes hearing your story even more confusing.

First time watching your videos. I really like how you concentrate on the little details, like walking in that narrow alley to that shrine tucked away. Cool. The key thing is to put us there, as though we are present in Tokyo. I've been there, but long ago. You've got some technique. Arigato!
I think a road without a car is a big deviation. I think people's brains and minds sometimes need such ventilation. It's more important than you think. In this regard, Matsuri culture in every part of Japan is very special. It's a perfect day out of the ordinary. So every country, city and village needs festivals like Matsuri! - K from seoul
