It’s week 2 of the dance talent show where dancers of any age and dance style compete to win £50,000 and a chance to perform on Strictly Come Dancing.
Leading the charge to discover the greatest dancer are three superstar dance captains - platinum-selling singer Cheryl, Broadway and Glee star Matthew Morrison and Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse.
The series is hosted by singer and presenter Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo, member of multi-award-winning dance troupe Diversity.
The audience hold the power - if they are impressed by the audition, they can vote to open the mirror, and if 75 per cent of the audience vote yes then the mirror will open and the dancer will make it through to the next stage of the competition, the callbacks. Get ready to see talent from across the world of dance, from ballet to jazz, street to ballroom, contemporary to disco as the dancers give the performances of their lives in the hope of opening the mirror.

I know!! I was watching, and then I'm like, wait, I know that word. And that one. Oh my god he's signing some of the lyrics!! It's interesting tho: he signed 'sorry' in ASL, not BSL.

@@sign767 !!!???? What omg!!! Sorry, I use Australian Sign Language (Auslan), which is about 80% the same as BSL? So I just assumed sorry was the same. But that must be one of the 20% different ones! Dang. The more you know. Thanks for the info!! :)

I am glad he can find the diference between the audience vibrations and the music. Otherwise it would be a problem
M 77 - Chris has trained and worked very hard for years to choreograph his dancing. He uses lots of different methods, technology and a great skill in combining dance moves with BSL.
Also it's not like this is the first time he heard the music. He would have known every beat and done lots of practise. All he really needs is the first vibration to set him off.
I personally know this guy. He is super talented. He has so much to offer and i cant wait for the world to see what he can bring to the stage. It isnt just the vibrations he is feeling, he can hear the music too. But yeah, my boy moving up to bigger stages now.

He's amazing! He signs when he dances. That's another thing that makes his style unique. This proves that deaf people are so much more advanced than we are. They can hear the music without the sound. My parents are deaf and I'm half deaf so I can experience this first hand.

My God. I can't imagine, dancing without music. It takes something so very special, to have your own rhythm, beat and feel when you can't hear anything yet still project a good vibe and skill in dancing. Well done, bro.

Those ASL moments in the routine. This is why I LOVE my job. I have been working with individuals with disabilities for over 3 years now. They really do become apart of your family. Most of them are ASL individuals. I learn way too much from them. Which, in absolutely thankful for. 😍😍😍
