@@JohnLee-db9ztWe moved here about 6 months ago. It’s beautiful here. And I was raised an Air Force Brat and moved almost every two years of my life with my folks, so I know what it means to feel welcomed or not in a new town. All of the people I’ve met in Sequim have been very friendly and welcoming. I’m sure when it comes to crime and homelessness, there isn’t one place in the U.S. without some of both. However, compared to where I used to live in the San Francisco Bay Area, neither seems particularly troublesome here. Some people have nothing better to do with their time than to sit around and wait to dump their negative energy on others, which would explain some of the comments.
It seems that 90% of the, "Beautiful Sequim, Washington," video is just footage of, "not being in Sequim," or, "looking at things from Sequim." Perhaps titling this, "Cool Places You'll Leave Sequim To Visit," is suitable? After all Sequim in local dialect translates to, "place where old-people's grandparents can still drive."
I just visited Squim. The main street is polluted with truck fumes you can smell. The downtown has overpriced stores. Many are closed seems to he a tourist town. $10 for a 1/2 bar of lavender soap. I will not be returning here. Oct. 24, 2023.
@bmarklar honestly couldn't agree more. I lived in sequim for a couple years. Loved it. Came back to visit and the people are completely different. Miss the old school redneck sequim
"Beautiful" doesn't do it justice. We're a not-so-well-kept secret anymore. Great video -- makes me glad I'm here.
Thank you so much! The sunsets and sunrises here are my favorite! 🌅
Shhh…don’t tell anyone .
@John Lee I wish it were more of a secret, but the beauty is too awesome to not share ❤️
I lived there for 18 years…. Miss it everyday…..

@@mcarthurmedia”Nay” sayers; people who just sit at home, waiting for their big moment to be downers. Beautiful video.
What you're saying doesn't make sense....I have lived in Sequim for 40 years, recognized every scene. ???

It's unfortunate that you feel that way. Thanks for watching 😊
