Price action describes the characteristics of a security’s price movements. This movement is quite often analyzed with respect to price changes in the recent past. In simple terms, price action is a trading technique that allows a trader to read the market and make subjective trading decisions based on the recent and actual price movements, rather than relying solely on technical indicators.
The only people who know where the market is heading are institutions. They are the ones who make the market move and our job as retail traders is to follow their footsteps and get the piece of their movement. As price action traders we need to find the most profitable ways to enter trades. The highest probability setups are 2nd entries, its variations and confirmations setups at the key entry points.
Didnt see any setups by 11 so I called it a day. Glad to know i was playing it safe! Knowing when NOT to trade is just as important as knowing when to trade.

Hi Thomas, I've watched your ideos for a long time, lot's of value. But can you or anyone suggest a broker where one can get a platform that works with 2000 tik charts (I assume it has to be Ninja) for free with a test account? The best I can get is 1000 tik account which is not the same. Many thanks for any help!
i'm not trading the ES at the moment but man this looks like a day where you either get chopped to pieces (which in my case is the most likely scenario) or you get a massive runner and get a truck load of money

that was the most chaotic, superficial, subjective rant I've ever heard in my life...that was a double top, you should've entered, its a classic fast-buy-slow-sell pattern...your blabbering of millions of fake minichannels is incredible...who taught you that garbage?
at 12:50 is the other double bottom, reversing the whole slow-sell side, Thomas...that was the easiest, cleanest most traded pattern in every trading office of any bank on the planet...you gotta know that, buddy...
Ive just started following and watching your videos. It seems you like to mostly short. This chart clearly shows a large profit had you scalped the uptrend?
What is the timeframe?
Thomas I had a day where I regressed in my progress. I got married to a premise expecting the market to have an uptrend day and got wrecked as the market went into a downtrend. I overtraded and gambled and got ripped today. I lost all discipline and let myself down today
You're not the only one Marcus! Today was a day where my reading of the market was off completely. Should have shut it down early but blew an Apex PA account with some revenge trading. Going to take it as a learning opportunity.
Recover your mental state! Tennis players talk about it a lot, you're going to make bad shots, bad trades. How fast can you let the negativity wash over you, accept it and move onto the next. Good luck tomorrow!
Of course you know Thomas method doesn't use any premise, so holding a "uptrend day" bias isn't part of this system :(
