Episode 172 - Starter Relay and Ignition Switch 1997 Ford E-150 Econoline Van

Welcome! In this video I replace the starter solenoid relay located on the passenger fender next to the battey in my 1997 Ford E-150 Econoline Van named Engima, as well as replace the ignition switch. I did this hoping to fix a no start condition whilst be broken down at the kid's bus stop... while the repair is successful neither of these parts were actually bad. However, the steps in this video are still good for showing how to remove and install the new parts.
CORRECTIONS
In the video I say that a Neutral Safety Switch will prevent a vehicle from cranking unless it's in Park. That's not correct. A vehicle will crank if in Park or Neutral.
