Hi from Colorado. Had to restart the replay, got interrupted before. Good to see you again and looking forward to your stories and jokes. You make my day!
I absolutely love the dragon fly card. The colors are so soft and the dazzling diamonds really make the card shine. Thanks for sharing you great technique with us. 🌻🌻❤️❤️
Good Sunday Morning, Lisa! HAPPY 1st DAY OF SPRING! YIPPEE! What an AWESOME PROJECT!! :-) I remember doing these designs eons ago n’ what fun they are to create! I wish SU still sold DAZZLING DIAMONDS but happy that you’ve found it on Amazon n’ shared! Thank you! And YES, the SU Glue Sticks WERE GREAT w/the Rectangle top! :-)). I really like BOTH of your “Napkin” choices! Such a WONDERFUL “Thank You for ordering” gift you’re giving w/$50+ orders! COOL! Will ONE Lucky person get a bottle of one of the wines, too??!! (You know, for a $200 order???!! Hahaha! Teasin’!!). Thank you so much for sharing this FUN & LOVELY PROJECT, Lisa!! The card came together so quickly w/only a couple of “gentler steps” involved and SUCH AN AWESOME RESULT! YAY! LOVE IT! HAPPY CREATIN’ ! Sending SMILES from Madison, WI! :-))))))))))). Hope you enjoy your 1st Day of Spring! BTW, I received MY PRIZE CARD in the mail yesterday and I LOVE IT! You do such lovely work! :-). Thank you so much! And next time, or soon, share those KNEE PADS~~I may need some for planting this year! :-))) Oh, n’ keep us updated on “the X-Ray Tech” prospects, too! :-))))))))) You’re one of my “SU STARS”, too! HUGS! :-) And more SMILES!! :-)))))))))))))
Hey Judith! Thank you so much for the kind words. I’m so glad you liked your card. It was a gorgeous day yesterday. I worked in the yard all day and laid on my dock and got some sun too. It was just a perfect day. But now I am super sore and can hardly walk. Lol!🤣 The kneepads are not really for your knees. They wrap around your leg underneath your knee to support your kneecap. It does seem to help but it doesn’t work if you are bending your knee. It helps when you’re walking though. I took them off when I sat down to pull weeds. My yard looks so beautiful though. I just need to go get some more flowers. I have pansies that I planted in the fall in the front yard that are gorgeous now, but I didn’t put anything in the back yard yet. I need to put down mulch too which is a tough job. Maybe that X-ray guy and I will start dating and he can help. 😉. I wish su sold dazzling diamonds still too. I’m hoping they will see my videos and realize we need more sparkly stuff. Hugs!

Love, love L❤️VE your cards! And now I need to talk to a guy about digging a pond in my back yard. Maybe some cute guys will go skinny dipping in my alligator pond! 🤣🤣🤣 That was hilarious! 😂 I laughed so hard I woke hubby up. He hasn't felt good all day, running a low grade fever. So, I made him a cup of Breathe Tea, doped him up, turned on the diffuser with Breathe Essential Oils and tucked him into bed. He's sleeping like a baby as long as I don't laugh to hard any more tonight. I'll have to try that technique. This is the first time I've ever seen it. Love that napkin you used. And look at you, you little starlet! Leaving starstruck fans in your wake! I hope I get to meet you one day, I'll bet we'd have a great time and laugh ourselves silly! 😂 If they ever start having events in Utah again. I've only been one time, when SU celebrated their 25th anniversary. I met a couple demos from Missouri out there. Had a great time, but it was so hot! You know, everytime you have beautiful weather in VA, we have cold nasty weather in MO, and when you all have cold nasty weather, we have beautiful weather here. When I was still working, I travelled to the DC area quite a bit for my job. Traffic there is awful! I guess I'm just so used to the country and travelling the back roads, heavy traffic makes me nervous. What's it like where you are? Well, I enjoy our little chats, but I best go now. Have a blessed weekend my friend! Hugs! 💖
Hey kitty cat! I’m so glad you liked my joke and my story. I would love to meet you sometime. One of my Downline lives in Missouri too. She’s in Wentzville which is kind of near St. Louis. She just moved back there last year. She’s one of my good friends. She used to live about five minutes from me and we have been friends for 20 years. I’d love to go visit her sometime. Another one of my good friends is getting ready to move to st. Louis in June. Her husband is retiring from the military and their family is there. I live in Chesapeake which is about four hours from DC. Our traffic is nothing like theirs. I kind of live in the country too, but I’m still close to shopping and things. My daughter lives near DC and I never go there because the traffic is so bad. You never know if it will take you 4 hours or 7 to get there. It depends on when you leave. When I retire from patient first I’m going to travel all over and meet my new friends from UA-cam. 😁
Sounds like fun. How long before you are able to retire? Hubby and I will be retired 6 years on the 31st of March, and we have lived every minute of retirement. We're very busy, but at least it's stuff we want to do. I really don't know how we ever had time to work. Lol!😂 I like all of your jokes. You asked if minded if you tell the story about the massage bed. No, I don't mind. I still laugh so hard over that every time I think about it or tell it. The looks on all their faces was priceless!!! I wish I had a video of it. I could have put it on America's Funniest Home Videos! 🤣🤣🤣 Guess I'll see you on UA-cam tonight. Looking forward to it. Hugs❣️💕
Depends on if I find a man or not. If I could find a great guy with good health insurance I could retire now. I have the money, I just need health insurance.
@@stampingwithlisa Yeah, health insurance does make a difference. We were fortunate in that when we retired we were able to keep our health insurance. Next year, we'll both be on Medicare with supplemental insurance. This year, I'll be on the phone for about an hour with our now insurance when it becomes our secondary. Whether or not we'll continue with them or suspend this insurance and use AARP will depend on what each of them have to say about my hubby's specialty meds. I'll pray for you that God will bring you just the right man. You deserve a good one.

Love them 💞 Love them 💕 great idea to use the napkins on cards. I love dragonflies. "Ihr" is a german company, but these napkins with the dragonflies are not available in the little size here.
Oh wow! Thanks so much Anja! I didn't know the napkins were from Germany. I got them on Amazon. But I just turned them over and it says "Made with love in Germany" on the back! That's weird that you can't get them there in the smaller size. Maybe check on amazon in Germany.
@@stampingwithlisa They are not available here at amazon either, not even the clear glimmer (it's available in pink only). I'll keep my eyes open, maybe I'll find it somewhere else ..But I'll definetely use my dragonfly punch again and I still have enough of the dsp! The other card with the wine bottles I like too - it's great for a birthday card for men!
Hi Lisa, you asked for suggestions on topics for your Stamping 101 and personally I'm new to a4 size cards. Maybe a refresher on the best way to utilize your paper to make card bases and front panels. I use 12 x 12 sheets also and end up scrapping some of it. Just a couple of thoughts. Thanks.
Good idea. I'm not sure what size A4 cards are. The ones I make are A2 which is a half sheet of regular cardstock (8 1/2x11). I don't use 12x12 paper ever because it is a huge waste of paper. So start with an 8 1/2 by 11 piece of cardstock and cut it in half so you get 2 card bases that are 8 1/2 by 5 1/2. The card from piece is 4 x 5 1/4 so you can get 4 of those from one sheet of cardstock. I think I did show how to cut those in my first 101 video though.
I love the napkin cards! I think I would need someone with me because pulling the napkin apart without tearing it! Ha!!! Love em !!! I have an idea for 101 Video! 1. Putting on the Adhesive sheets. I realize you just did a card with one. I get that horrible glue all over! I might be the only one. 2. Using foam strips and sheets, when and how? The difference between holding power of glue and the stamp and seal. When best to use one versus the other. The difference in gsw? and lb the paper is! When best to use heavyweight versus lighter weight! Ideas.??????
Lovely card Lisa! I thought for sure you were going to use Mod podge when I first saw you use the Dazzling Diamonds, would not have imagined using sticky sheets!
Thanks so much! Hm, I hadn't thought of that but I think that would be messy. I have seen people use the heat and stick with versamark but not mod podge.
Stunning cards! I ordered the “dazzling diamonds” off of Amazon so I’m anxiously waiting for them to come. I have napkins just begging to be used. The mother of a friend of mine is in a nursing home and has a birthday coming up so I think I’m going to make one like this for her. I wonder. . . I have some spray adhesive. Do you think that would work just as well as a glue stick?
Wonderful!I am sure she will love it. I am not sure about the spray adhesive. I have never used it but there is only one way to find out! Try it. It's just a piece of a napkin so it's not big deal if it doesn't work.
Such gorgeous cards 💜💜💜

So start with an 8 1/2 by 11 piece of cardstock and cut it in half so you get 2 card bases that are 8 1/2 by 5 1/2. The card from piece is 4 x 5 1/4 so you can get 4 of those from one sheet of cardstock. I think I did show how to cut those in my first 101 video though.
@@stampingwithlisa sorry my bad, I'll go watch that video again, thanks Lisa. ( I meant a2, sorry)
@@judevivier153 no worries. I am pretty sure that I did show it but if I didn’t let me know and I’ll add it to my list.

Hi Lisa!
Hi Diane!
Hi Lisa.
Hi Kathy!
I’m not sure if I’m watching live or replay
replay...live was at 7pm eastern
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol!!
