@@benswami3197 Yep, so often I see Pugh, McDonnald pass her the ball and then run into a great scoring position. She gets the ball and tries to dribble out of the surrounding defenders and shoot at goal, when she should have just completed a one-touch pass back to the player that gave her the ball.

Our bench is incredible, but that comment is dismissive of the first string of other top teams. As much as we love our team, our entire second group wouldn't beat the entire first group of the top five teams. Individuals on our second team against individuals on other teams first team-absolutely. But not the second team as a complete whole.
Bit late but as an English person I think Christen press and her goal was absolutely amazing and to honour her mother too was so genuine and beautiful, both teams played well but USA definitely showed the dominant side in some respects. Really wished England scored that penalty so we could see more game time and maybe given us some hope to try and win but USA definitely deserved to go to the final so well done. Plus why did Alex Morgan get controversy over that celebration? I found it absolutely amazing and funny 😂 I’ll happily want to see that celebration again tbh and that’s the tea 😂☕️🇬🇧🇺🇸

Because they want to remove her from the field so that they could win. Unfortunately that didn’t happen! England players weren’t tackled in the same way from their opponent players! It could have been 3 goal if USA were provided penalty when Morgan was kicked by Lucy Bronze in penalty area which referee and VAR both ignored the fact. It was terrible watching whole match live during game day! But finally won the game! I still keep watching this highlights!

watched a lot of usa's highlight match myself and indeed, they're playing a clean, super tactical and pro game everytime. theyre only down when they are injured. no drama, no dirty tricks. thats why i respect this team and rooted for them although i know usa is already dominant. jill scott and bright shouldve been carded in every game theyre in, imo😂

Rose Lavelle was ON IT this game. She is the future. Over the next four years she will sharpen her skills to be able to strategically place balls around the goal keeper, not at them. Her skills are insane otherwise.

As a man, I was normally interested in men's sports, but few year ago, I found the thrill of women's sports and suddenly I became "glued to women's sports" and NOBODY can make me change my mind ! Even, many of my friends are now into the same trend. I do NOT miss college softball, soccer (football), tennis... Women are a bread apart because they normally play as ladies (most of them), and to me, this is the charm that attracts me. AND BESIDES THIS... THEY SHOULD BE PAID AT THE SAME SCALE AS MEN...!!!

@@paradise9981 nah if you're going by seniority, then that'd be Tobin next. She's been playing on team since 2008. Ertz has only been on the team since 2013. Will ertz be captain one day? Maybe. But there's a few in front of her that are around the same age, so it depends on when she retires. Sauerbrunn and O'Hara would also have seniority. Dunn joined the team at the same time as Ertz and has more caps. Seniority doesn't have everything to do with why someone is captain, either, which your comment implies ("she would be the veteran player"). So sure, I can easily see her being a captain one day but to say she's the next captain (which is what the original comment said), seems like a stretch.
I agree! Julie Ertz is the best all-round player on the USWNT. She is a superstar now. She won Player of the Year! As a center back she does not allow anyone in her area. As you watch a game, there is a big gap in the area she is responsible for. Plays get forced to the outside. Plus she can score goals!!

Becky Sauerbrunn barely pushed White, but it was a foul. Good thing the penalty kick was blocked.
At first I thought that it was nothing, but on the replay I saw that she clipped White's kicking leg from behind as she was about to shoot, so it stopped White from shooting. That's why it was called as a foul.
This video plays it too fast and does not show it clearly, but when watching the game on TV they slowed it down and it was more clear.
I still think that shouldnt have been a foul but Golie did her Job

USA could have more than more than goals as sometimes there were opportunities to score goals if ball passed to their mates! Also England were lucky enough as USA weren’t given penalty when USA co-captain was kicked in penalty area by Lucy Bronze and you can see Horan pointing to that but referee just ignored and later Morgan was helped by her teammate to wake up from the pitch! That was awful. I watched whole game live! There should be few more cards provided 🤔😊
