Get a spare key fob and program it. Takes about a minute and the remove the key blade by removing the pin that holds it in place. Place the key fob in a magnetic box and place it on the frame under the car where nobody can see it and you won't need those tools. 1. Normally you will not have access to those tools when you need them because they'll probably be locked inside the car. 🤣
I unlock vehicles for a living. So let me tell you how bad of a plan it is to keep a magnetic box with a key inside under the vehicle. You buy a magnetic box $25 then you get a locksmith to program a key fob, $300. Then you hit a pothole, and the box falls off. Or worse, a car theif looks for and finds this box and steals your vehicle. The insurance company won't cover it because the key was left with the vehicle. Or...... you could be smart and have roadside assistance added to your insurance or join AAA and have a locksmith sent to unlock your vehicle. Membership $49- $99 a year. It's like having these tools all the time and a professional to do it for you, so all liability is off of you. Or.....you could Uber to a hardware store and buy an air bag wedge or plastic wedge and a metal rod and some tape $35
@deguy5902 I live in a small town of 3,000 people we don't have Uber. I wasn't talking about just any car I was addressing the Equinox. Older models had to have a key blade to turn the ignition on and you can program the key fob yourself. I have done it before for my 2014. If thieves want something you have in your car they'll just break the window. My friend uses and old blood pressure cuff and a coat hanger. My key has been under my 2007 Silverado since I purchased it new. There's a slot in the frame where nobody would look. Thieves aren't going to take the time to crawl around looking for a key. They'll move on to the next easy to steal vehicle. 🤣 Oh, AAA takes hours to show up where I live.
Okay in my defense this is really great but how do I get into the vehicle without setting off the alarm. I'm trying repo my mother's vehicle because my aunt took the vehicle from me!! My mother passed away last year of cancer My mother gave me the vehicle although I don't have license my aunt took the vehicle under her care and won't give the vehicle back until I get my license either I do it the legal way or my way so how would I be able to get into this vehicle without setting off the alarm
By getting a fuckin license! Seems easy enough. Why can't you get one? No license is as bad as no teeth! Only true low-life losers have no license. So whatever the reason is it ain't good enough. Let someone with no teeth tell you why and see if it matters. Get your license man.

People lose keys and hope they are inside. Or need something from within the vehicle. There are tons of scenarios. I show and tell how to unlock a vehicle in this video. I have hundreds of videos showing how to unlock a vehicle. I also tell you where to buy the tools or how to make them. So if diy and in an emergency anybody can accomplish how to shut of an alarm when the keys are inside. Thanks for watching.
If the battery is dead will it still unlock? And also can it be either door? I tried the driver side and managed to hit the button but it didn't unlock. Any other info would greatly be appreciated.
