Theresa, THANK YOU! You are my fashion go to! I went to T.J. Maxx last week and had a peri menopause unsuccessful try-on temper tantrum. My husband and I have two vacations planned in July and August, so I’m going to Walmart to try my luck. Thank you for always keeping it real! ❤️
I agree with you Teresa! I generally don’t like Bermuda shorts but I really like the ones you showed! Very pretty on you!! ❤️❤️Thank you for the great video!! I am definitely over the distressing!
I agree with you regarding the distressed clothing. I never got into it, and will be glad to see it go. It just never made sense to me to pay good money for torn clothing.
Aww thanks so much for watching and for your kind comments. I hope the cargo pants work for you. I love the feel of the fabric on those, and I think they are very versatile for Spring!
I agree with you. The chopped bottoms really don’t appeal to me. The distressing is also a turn off. I’m 60 so I prefer to look a little more mature and polished.
Wow you have a good haul. I am going to look for these at my store, but they have clothes so jammed in there, I have given jp looking. I will try again. I much prefer to try them on and decide on what size I need before buying a lot and having to return. Thanks for doing the work for us,
I like the print but i personally love pink and pastels. I think it’s a cute top but I don’t like it tucked in on you or even me, but when you. Half tucks it’s cute. Maybe it’s the pink pants maybe try it with denim. Have a fabulous day great video Theresa. 😊
So happy that I watched this video. I immediately went to Walmart for the cargo pants, purchased 3 pair. I'm in between sizes, but sized up for comfort. At 5'3" they are a perfect length for me. Thank you!
Hi Deborah - thanks so much for watching and for your kind comments. I am so glad that you got the cargo pants before they sell out! They feel so good on right?!
I like the crop pants with the distressed hem. I'm not a fan of distressed jeans where the whole knee is missing or if they have rips from thigh to ankle. But I like some distressing, it looks cool. Also, I finally figured out that my ideal length for shorts is between 7-9 inch inseam. Anything longer looks frumpy and anything shorter is just a "nope".
Never was a fan of distressed clothing...distressed furniture...distressed anything. Like you, if I see it is distressed I immediately put it back on the rack.
I liked the cargo pants....particularly the pink. I was not a fan of the floral print you were on the fence about. I have NYDJ pants and they never disappoint. The white pair looked great on you. Also not of fan of distressed jeans. This was a great video😊
Over the distressing too. Are you listening Walmart? I feel the way some of the whiskering is done is really cheap looking so I always leave those on the rack. I have the floral blouse and on me, I love it. It looks fresh and Springy. Gotta tuck it though.
I’m from the old school, distressed jeans meant you wore them out but couldn’t afford to toss them yet. I wouldn’t spend money to buy Ripped or Torn jeans that I could do myself.
I love that long sleeved floral print! I think it is very pretty and feminine and I like how it looks with both the pink and greens pants! I think it is super cute! Now I have to go find it at my local Wal-mart!
Theresa, I don't usually comment, but I ALWAYS enjoy your videos! I also have those Time and True cargo pants, love them. You look great in everything, including the shirt pattern you are questioning, lovely! And I also really enjoy QVC and Kim. She's hilarious and seems genuine (like you). I need to try those white NYDJ! Thanks a bunch for all of your hard work
I like the print on the last top, I think it's pretty. There's something about it though that feels off. It made me think of a pajama top as soon as I seen it. Maybe try belting it. To be honest I'm not sure about it, even though I think it's pretty.
I have never really been a fan of the distressed denim. I did try on those same jeans with the sharkbite hem...ugh! Definitely not for me!!! But that's a good idea to get them and cut the hem to be more even!!!! As for the pattern on the last top...I'm not a big floral fan but I think it's pretty. It doesn't make you look "nana-ish":)
I really like the print of the last top. I may get it myself. It looks better tucked in however. Wearing it untucked looks cute but more nanna-ish. Great choices. I may splurge with those white pricey pants. They looked especially good on you.
Could you just trim the sharkbite hem off straight to make a regular crop length? I thought the fit was great on you. The floral print on that last top is pretty, but the fit is a bit matronly, probably because it's rather voluminous. Tucked in was a bit better, but why risk the Nanna look?
I don’t mind the frayed hems so much. I’m 5 ft so I’d have to hem EVERYTHING! So not doing so for some of my things is awesome. Of course , for dress jeans or pants, I have them hemmed. This is when I miss my grandma as she was a fabulous seamstress. She’d hem them in mere moments!
No distressing, especially on seniors! All that money for a worn look makes the clothes look extra cheap in my opinion. I had 1 pair of Levi’s, out they went. At 74, I wish to look classic and sophisticated.
I thought you looked really good in the pink, actually, just to me, I felt they looked the best out of all the crop like pants and shorts. BTW, your hair video from a year ago has me going down the curly girl rabbit hole. Your hair is beautiful!! Your video on your routine is the most straightforward and easy to follow video. A warm thank you for making such a comprehensive video because making videos aren't the easiest thing to do, but I for one am happy you did. I am excited trying for shiny, no frizz hair!!
Hi Lisa - aww thanks so much for watching and for your lovely comments. I actually had no idea my hair could even do this until I randomly decided to try this method and film a video about it. I hope you get great results!
You are right about finding a good pair of white capris. The cheap ones are always see through. I thought the white and flowered top was very pretty and feminine. It does not make you look old. 🌸🌼🌷🐣🌸
I agree that the Sophia V tops are not a good fit for you though I love the color. The Nana top has to go too. But all the other things you tried on look good on you. The puffy blouse tops make me look huge but they look great on you. Love your videos. Thank you.
I love your videos! We have very similar style. I actually stopped the video and placed my order for the first cargo’s as I knew they would sell out in my size. I agree with you on distressing….it seems like a few years back when it started….I couldn’t even find any jeans without! A little is ok, but I’m with you on the scarecrow look🤣🤣😝
Hi Theresa! I bought that flowery blouse and I wear it with my pink denim jeans jacket from last year. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. I also bought the blue and white print from that style and wear it with my blue jeans jacket which looks great as well. Give it a little front tuck to give it a more youthful look! Also, I have several Kim Gravel jeans and I agree, they look and feel great. I usually wait until their a TSV for a better price. As always, love your Walmart hauls, thank you!
I feel the same way about distressed features on clothing. It’s a feature I never really liked. I loved the Lee ankle jeans you showed. You have a lovely kitchen. May I ask what brand is your toaster oven in the background. NYDG jeans are great. I sometimes find them at TJ Max. Love watching your videos!
Aww thanks so much for watching and for your lovely comments. The toaster oven that you see in the background is by Cuisinart. It's actually a combo toaster oven & "air fryer". We use this little oven every day and love it. It's especially nice not to heat up the entire kitchen with the regular oven in the summer 😀 amzn.to/3mlcMNN
To be honest with you I have never cared for the distressed look. I think they need to go in the trash LOL!!!! So glad someone else likes the better styles.🤩😅
This was so fun Theresa! I loved you in all your outfits...you look very youthful! And I sure can relate to your Bloopers!!! Getting through the Intro is 90% of the ballgame!!!! xxo Susan & Dez
Hi Theresa I was excited to see you. When you those green pants I could kick myself. They are sold out in my store. I did however get the winter light weight corduroy cargoes just like the green ones. I paid either five or seven dollars for the black cordury ones I loved them so much I went back and they had them in raspberry. I just love the cargo ones. I also got their denim joggers . I got the black large for 22.99 they were huge. I got the grey and pumpkin next in medium and they were five dollars. I am no small but could have got a small ..they stretch out. I like the pink pants ones rolled up on you. They are so cute. I hate the step cut..doesn’t make sense to me. I probably could cut them and they would be fine. My favorite white denim are distressed. Now for some reason I am over it too. I think the trend is over too. So, I will be on the hunt for white good denim pants. I am shorter than you so sometimes cropped is full length on me. Our Walmart is weird. In the plus size they have blouses, but I can never find them in the small to X-Large …don’t know why. Those are cute tops I hate that the white top did not work. My shoulders are more narrow too. I don’t like too much showing anymore lol 😂. I have never shopped on QVC ….I can imagine I could get hooked. The most well dressed lady in our church has had on beautiful trendy clothes and she buys on QVC. Thanks Theresa…watching your TEMO now. ❤❤❤❤
Definitely No on the last long sleeve floral print blouse that u were on the fence on. I just don’t like anything about the fit. Actually, I would give it a zero! It just doesn’t do it. I so enjoy all of your videos . Thank u and keep the videos coming . Thx from Ga. Teresa
Hi Teresa - thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments as always. I have to agree with you on that top, it's going back. Happy Easter 🐣
I’ll take Time and Tru jeans and shorts over high end any day. They wash well and hold their shape. I have it in my head that Bermuda shorts and capris make me look shorter than I already am. I’m 5’3” and 130lbs with a long waist.
Never fan of distressed jeans. Look tacky! I love the pink floral top ! I must have it but will pin it for work because it looks low lol Also love love the white but like you said probably too low for me . Thanks for great ideas. Happy Easter 🐣
Hi Theresa! I'm always so happy to see you have another video out and as always this one didn't disappoint! I wonder if since the shark bite pants have a raw hem if you could just cut them off straight. I agree the shark bite is a bit much.
Hi Emily! Aww thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments as always. I thought the same thing, that I could just cut the shark bite hem off 😀
Hi Theresa 🌼 Love the crop pants- they are perfect to get me through spring! I’m not a fan of the shark bite trim - yuck! The puff sleeve top is right up my alley 😮❤
I don't care for distressed clothes AT ALL, especially the holes. And now the ragged hems. As you mentioned, the hems that are chopped off longer in the back - maybe for teens they're ok, but not my adult taste. And I'm not a fan of the thigh pockets on cargo pants. I do have two pairs of loose cargo pants, but I think the ones that are tighter just add bulges to the thighs with those pockets placed there. What are they for anyway? I'd never actually put anything in them because that only makes them bulge more.
The Nana blouse was very pretty ...I didn't think the print is Nana looking.... you needed a smaller size.. and maybe wear it open with a tank under it??
I love the NYDJ line. Nordstrom’s carries it as does their Nordstrom Rack. Just watch out for that panel that’s in the front that “helps” the tummy. I find that 6 months to a year later that there is “ pull” and you get a very noticeable pulled seam look where this panel is. Right at the crotch area. Most unfortunate.
Theresa, you should love these Bermudas, no way do you look frumpy or dumpy! I've NEVER liked the distressing nor have I purchased any. Is QVC good about returns? I like that you show different tops with your pants and different pants with your tops. On that final top, I say YES, very cute and feminine. Not granny at all.
Hi Lina - thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments as always. QVC makes it very easy to return, BUT you do end up paying return shipping. If you just need to exchange the same item for a different size or color, then QVC pays the return shipping. I hope this helps 😀
Double picture turning, making me dizzy.☺☺☺They call that cut out on those pink pants a shark bite. I don't like it neither. Never liked the holes or rips in pants. I like those shorts. I just picked up 2 pairs of white Levis. Love them. Can't break the habit. I bought that long sleeve top. Hippy days. Love it.☺ Happy Easter
Theresa, you are so funny. I’m not a fan of the crazy hems or distressing either but you don’t look like a scarecrow😂. That did make me laugh though. You look good in all of the pieces. I see a couple of pieces I want to pick up. The hoodie you had on in the Green Chef segment is such a beautiful color on you!
Definitely over all the distressing. Like you, it’s okay if there are a couple of tiny areas, but the big openings at the knees and the unfinished hems…….not my thing.
I have never liked distressing!! Why would I buy a pair of pants that are already messed up? With that being said, if my knees start to wear on jeans from my own wear, those pants are probably 3 to 4 years by that time, I will continue to wear those until it gets ridiculous.
Hi Theresa!😊 Im not a fan of any kind of distressing for myself. I’ve seen ladies look really cute in them.. just not for me. I have to be honest, the tops don’t do you Justice, and if they don’t do you justice I can only imagine what they would look like on me. 😳 Loved the capris. ❤
Hi Mary - thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments. I still like a little distressing, just not too extreme. For quite a while my "good jeans" were distressed and were the more expensive ones that I owned LOL. Ps. I have to agree about that last top, I felt quite Nana in it :)
Entirely over distressed clothes! Cannot see paying for a piece of clothing that looks like it should be trashed. I did like the flowered blouse and I thought the light pink jeans looked good on you. Yes Kim Gravel's clothes are fabulous and I can wear a vanity size in them. Most likely because the quality is better.
Hi Julie - I understand your comment, I personally rarely wear capris myself. With that said, I am comfortable in a lot of different styles, including shorts & dresses. This video is really for those that are just not comfortable in in shorts or dresses and are going to wear Capris regardless. For those ladies, being "comfortable" is far more important to them than being "current". This video just shows those ladies some better ways to wear them. I hope this helps :)
Those strange hymns and distressed and frayed and ripped and torn is horrendous. It's looked that says I want to be cool but while trying to be cool I make myself look very silly. It doesn't matter what age you are. I think it's never a good look. It's just in poor taste.

I agree with you regarding the distressed clothing. I never got into it, and will be glad to see it go. It just never made sense to me to pay good money for torn clothing.
I so agree with you on distressing and crazy hems. I’m over it! This shark bite hem looks like Huck Finn to me. Love your video. Thanks
I ordered the Pull on Bermuda shorts and the Boyfriend Jeans!! I'm excited to get them! Thank you for showing them!
I liked the abstract print blouse on you best. I used your link for the cargo pants, hoping I like the fit.
Aww thanks so much for watching and for your kind comments. I hope the cargo pants work for you. I love the feel of the fabric on those, and I think they are very versatile for Spring!
@@TheresaRene360 The green pair fit perfect, but the blue pair was too big in the waist. Same size IDK, I'm keeping them.
Thanks for doing the work for us,
I like it looks very nice on you.

Hi Deborah - thanks so much for watching and for your kind comments. I am so glad that you got the cargo pants before they sell out! They feel so good on right?!
The white jeans are darling!
the long sleeve print reminds me of an old lady
I like the crop pants with the distressed hem. I'm not a fan of distressed jeans where the whole knee is missing or if they have rips from thigh to ankle. But I like some distressing, it looks cool. Never was a fan of distressed clothing...distressed furniture...distressed anything. Like you, if I see it is distressed I immediately put it back on the rack.
The good news about distressed furniture is that my old faux leather couch is now in style. 🙄
I'm with you. I have never bought distressed clothing or anything else.
I like the floral print and the colors look good on you!
I like it to, but it looked too big and think she could've sized down on it.
I liked the cargo pants....particularly the pink. I was not a fan of the floral print you were on the fence about. I have NYDJ pants and they never disappoint. The white pair looked great on you. Also not of fan of distressed jeans. This was a great video😊
Hi Mary - thanks so much for watching and for your thoughtful comments 😀
I am 62 and never liked distressing!
Over the distressing too. Are you listening Walmart? I feel the way some of the whiskering is done is really cheap looking so I always leave those on the rack. I have the floral blouse and on me, I love it. It looks fresh and Springy. Gotta tuck it though.
Love those cargo pants 💕 I have them in the olive and might have to get at least the navy as well 👌🏻
Thanks so much for watching and for your kind comments as always. The olive cargo pant is a great neutral for Spring. I also love the navy 😀
Step hems make me crazy! They look like someone was making the garment, realized they messed up cutting the pieces, and gave up. 🤷♀️.
Truth! 😆 🤣 😂
I’m from the old school, distressed jeans meant you wore them out but couldn’t afford to toss them yet. I wouldn’t spend money to buy Ripped or Torn jeans that I could do myself.
I am 5’1 and on the heavier side. Would Bermuda shorts look awful on me?
Do you have info on the yellow hoodie. I love it!
SO sorry of the delay, JUST saw your question! here's a link the lightweight hoodie that I'm wearing in this video rstyle.me/+jgA-5PPsD2HoBaNS56ra3w
I like the print.
My Walmart here in Alabama is getting a few Sophia items in also!
Nice! I hope the stores start to carry more of her pieces 😀
I love the floral print blouse, going to order it now!!!
I like the granny print. Because you style it with the cargo pants it looks age appropriate and pretty. Especially with the pink pants.
I love that long sleeved floral print! I think it is very pretty and feminine and I like how it looks with both the pink and greens pants! I think it is super cute! Now I have to go find it at my local Wal-mart!
I've aged out of holes in the knees. Don't mind a clean raw hem yet.
Thanks a bunch for all of your hard work
Hi Cynthia - aww thanks so much for watching and for your lovely comments 😀 Hugs
I like the print on the last top, I think it's pretty. There's something about it though that feels off. It made me think of a pajama top as soon as I seen it. Maybe try belting it. To be honest I'm not sure about it, even though I think it's pretty.
The bottom of those pink pants is cute. I dont like how you cuffed it. The cuff makes it look matronly. The ruff hem is more current.

Sometimes if the print is very delicate like that I feel like I'm wearing pajamas, though it is very pretty.
I only like very minimal distressing on jeans and don't love funky hems. No distressed sweaters! I like the print blouse.
No distressing, especially on seniors! All that money for a worn look makes the clothes look extra cheap in my opinion. I had 1 pair of Levi’s, out they went. At 74, I wish to look classic and sophisticated.
Don’t care for the long sleeve top but you looked wonderful in the rest of your haul.
I don’t mind a raw hem but not the shark bite or high low. I’m 5’3 so I’d just cut the hem to even it out as long as the length would still be ok.
I like the print on that top. I'm thinking of ordering myself
I think the blouse looks great with the pink cargo pants:) I am also not a fan of distressing. Thanks for reviews.
Yes I’m sorry but I agree…too Nana.

Can u do a top video. Your tops are so pretty.
I like the top- it is very spring! Maybe try it with some medium wash denim, like shorts, skirts or crops. You might like it better that way.
Great shorts on you. Walmart very impressive. Glad you mentioned QVC, but their prices have increased .
I have never purchased anything with distressing. I hate it.
Hi Theresa I was excited to see you. When you those green pants I could kick myself. They are sold out in my store. No on the last top….
Hi Karen - I have to agree on that 😀
Definitely No on the last long sleeve floral print blouse that u were on the fence on.
Do the jeans pass the dye test? I've bought two pairs from Walmart that the dye comes off on my leather seats. Thank you.
Hi Dawn - thanks so much for watching. I wash & dry all denim before wearing. Whether they are from Walmart or high end, I have not had any problems 😀
It is possible that putting salt into your wash water might help set the die better.
@America First hmmm....I've never heard of that method
Never fan of distressed jeans. Look tacky!
I love the pink floral top ! I must have it but will pin it for work because it looks low lol
Also love love the white but like you said probably too low for me .
Kim Gravel makes the best jeans. I found at resale shop so I had a bargain.
love the shorts/ hate the cropped pants. another great vid. you are adorable!
Greetings Theresa! I actually like the print blouse, I think it's pretty! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
The Nana blouse was very pretty
...I didn't think the print is Nana looking.... you needed a smaller size.. and maybe wear it open with a tank under it??
I actually like the raw hem on ankle pants. Not a fan of the shark bite or distressing or holes in my pants.
I hate to say…but the last top reminds me of pjs.
Hi Karen - thanks so much for watching. I see what you mean actually!
Personally I think that print looks a bit dated, so many better colors and styles to choose from. I liked all the cropped ones
nana
I thought so, lol
@@TheresaRene360 You look great and so healthy. I'm very sick and just jealous.
@@tammygravis1462 I am so sorry that you are having health issues. Hugs
I hate the ragged hems on all things, top or bottom.
Definitely over all the distressing. Like you, it’s okay if there are a couple of tiny areas, but the big openings at the knees and the unfinished hems…….not my thing.
I have never worn Distressed like my clothes to look a certain way just not for me
I have never liked distressing!! Why would I buy a pair of pants that are already messed up? With that being said, if my knees start to wear on jeans from my own wear, those pants are probably 3 to 4 years by that time, I will continue to wear those until it gets ridiculous.
Hi Theresa, that last top was too boxy. Everything else was great.
Over torn and detressing jeans. As a mature woman, torn jeans look like someone needs to give me their spare change. Enjoy your videos
A teeny bit of distress is ok--like you just snagged yourself on the door or something but that look of I just survived a bear attack---NO! So tacky!
Hi Theresa!😊
Im not a fan of any kind of distressing for myself. I’ve seen ladies look really cute in them.. just not for me.
I have to be honest, the tops don’t do you Justice, and if they don’t do you justice I can only imagine what they would look like on me. 😳
Loved the capris. ❤
I hate the shark bite hem. It looks ridiculous. This video reminds me that I have those first Bermuda shorts in white…I’d forgotten. 😂
Hi Theresa, I really like the print of the last top but I must say it looks NANA. Sorry I would return it…
It’s a pretty print but looks like a PJ print… ditch it !
Hi Linda - I have to agree! Happy Easter 🐣 💓
Guess I’m in the minority - I love distressing, but did not love that last blouse! Looks much too matronly for you !
Keep the great content coming !
Not loving the print on the last blouse. But, I'm not a ditsy flower fan. It just doesn't seem your style.
I'm hitting the thumbs up but it's not showing that I hit it
Entirely over distressed clothes! Cannot see paying for a piece of clothing that looks like it should be trashed. I did like the flowered blouse and I thought the light pink jeans looked good on you. Yes Kim Gravel's clothes are fabulous and I can wear a vanity size in them. Most likely because the quality is better.
I neer have like distressing. Why would spend money on something that looks old.
I haven't watched this yet, but even though you CAN wear capris, if you want to be current in fashion, you should not 🚫
Hi Julie - I understand your comment, I personally rarely wear capris myself.
I like the print on your lady top. Not nana print. Very feminine.
Those strange hymns and distressed and frayed and ripped and torn is horrendous. It's looked that says I want to be cool but while trying to be cool I make myself look very silly. It doesn't matter what age you are. I think it's never a good look. It's just in poor taste.
