My hands started being so dry that they would split open and bleed, and this was when I was in my early 20s in very humid Houston, TX. A friend recommended Neutrogena hand cream and it changed my life. I have used it ever since. Something that I do now which I find helpful if you do wash your hands a lot, is to put a little squirt of baby oil or bath oil in your hand soap dispenser along with your hand soap. My dermatologist had recommended using the bath oil or baby oil alone, but it's a little too oily for me.

The trick with the Neutrogena hand cream is to put it on when your hands are still a little wet after washing - you need the smallest amount...it’s night and day difference when you do this ... really soaks in and dries down give it 30 seconds. Love your videos... keep up the great work!!

Such as the thrive mascara. But that Maybelline lipgloss in Petal, I own that one and several colors and absolutely love it. Friend told me about it and I use them consistently. Highly recommend for those who haven't tried them.

Welcome to the humidity of the south. I learned quickly that bangs did not work well with my naturally curly hair. It took forever, but I finally grew out my bangs and I'm much happier. My hair will still grow a couple of inches in volume on a summer day. I wish I could wear mascara - just irritates my eyes to no end. I used to get my lashes and brows dyed, but I never got the timing down so that there was a stark difference from one day to the next. I'll never forget this older gentleman that I worked with commenting how great I looked (not in a creepy way) the day after I had them done and that he couldn't figure out what was different. It does make a huge difference - my lashes are long, but pale (almost white). Hope you have a great weekend.
I hear ya Kay Dee! My hair was not liking the humidity but my skin was! 😊 Well darn that the lash dye did not work out so well for you and that you can not wear mascara! Have you ever thought about lash extensions? Maybe not as much for the length (you can get them as long or short as you want) but they are already colored. My daughter was getting lash extensions a lot last summer and she never needed to wear mascara. Her lashes looked beautiful. If fact, I don't even think she needed to wear any eyeliner after getting those either. It was just a natural beautiful look. The bummer is that you have to go get them filled about every 2-3 weeks to keep them up. 🤷♀️ Just like getting your nails done. Happy Sunday!

I have started binge watching your channel; I LOVE it! My Walmart and Target online carts are filling up quickly 😋 I have been using the Elf Face Cream for about 8-10 months. It's wonderful. Leaves my face feeling super moisturized but not greasy. I use the eye cream too and *love* it. Elf gives you a generous amount of the eye cream and it is SO cheap. Most eye creams are so expensive these days. ELF has a sale going on their website right now and you can get the face and eye cream (along with many other items) for 40% off. Since you already use and enjoy the ELF camo concealer, I would encourage you to try the ELF *hydrating* camo concealer. I liked the original a lot, then I tried the hydrating version and I use it every single day. It's my "holy grail". I am 59 years old so I have my fair share of lines and wrinkles around my eyes and this is the best I have found for a concealer.

I have been using the Neutrogenia hand cream for years. I only use it at night so it can really soak in. I use other lotion on my hands during the day. It works amazingly well like this.

OMGosh Rita! I am so sorry to hear you had no power for 8 days!!!!! Did you have to go stay at someone else's house or a hotel?? How awful! We lost power for about 3-4 days in the winter one time and had to go live at my in laws for that time. It wasn't that hard to come home. It was hard to leave the 80 degree sunny weather though 😜 We are getting closer to spring though so hopefully it will only be another month or 2 before it warms up enough here too. I added the following to my Amazon wish list: Amber oil, Maybelline lip gloss, elf eyeliner and concealer. I may end up adding that Neutrogena mask as well. My über, über dry skin is also very finicky, and I have learned that Pond's Dry Skin cream is its best friend (just as Pond's cold cream is the only mascara remover my lashes like). And as of late, Rimmel's Wonder'Luxe Volume mascara has been outperforming the L'Oreal Butterfly version that was my favorite. Thank you again for the great video. I’ll have to try the Elf products. I’ve tried the concealer though and it was to dry for me and I had problems getting the right shade. Neutrogena hand cream is to greasy for me I tried it over 20 years ago but my hands were so desperately dry this winter I tried the neutrogena hydro boost whipped body balm with hyaluronic acid and my skin is super sensitive most hand lotion and cremes make my hands red and itchy, this was a miracle for me and it’s not as sticky as the other lotion. The Maybelline lifter gloss is also incredible, tried it based on another You Tuber and it has hyaluronic acid making it super moisturizing and it does glide on so smoothly. I love the shades Reef and Moon but I might have to go get Petal now too. And the mask you tried in the beginning.
Hi Deb! It is hard sometimes to find a great lotion cause you never know how it will work with your skin. I have used this Neutrogena hand lotion now a few times and it has worked but it takes a few minutes for it to sink in and not feel greasy. I love the Loreal lifter gloss. I have several colors. I do not notice much plumbing, if any, but the lip feel and color payout is awesome, especially for a gloss. The color you chose looked good on you. Thank you for the Elf recommendations, and I may even pick up some amber oil, too. 😘

I'm new to your channel. I have watched a few of your video's with your Walmart hauls. I have been amazed with items that I have found. Why pay $25 for a tee shirt that you can get for $10 or under?? I am a makeup junkie, not that I buy everything but have found there are really good products that are just as good as the high price $$$ ones. I watch a few YT channels and get some good product recommendations. I recently have tried some l have recently ordered some ELF products that I'm really liking, here they are: Primer Glow Oil (love), here's the biggie - CAMO CC cream (has a SPF of 30) and their primer infused blush (very natural). I was a big Thrive mascara user. It is very good but pricey. You have got to try Maybelline Sky High mascara, the stores can't keep it in stock. It was $9 compared to $27 for Thrive. Also need to try Essence Volume Booster lash primer. It has acai oil, mango butter and Vitamin E (great). Sorry for the long post just one more item that I picked up was a eye liner by pixi by petra endless silky eye pen (color Black Cocoa), very easy to apply, beautiful color. I also wear both the Garnier BB cream, but not the moisturizing, I use the oil free and the ELF camo cover up! I don't like the newer formula either, why do they fix it if it ain't broke??!! One thing that really helped me thicken up and lengthen my lashes is Rapid Lash Eyelash & Brow Enhancer, you need to use it every night for a few weeks but the difference is amazing! You inspired me to try the Petal Lip Lifter, I just ordered it, it's very pretty!
That mask looks like the victims of the old Invasion of the Body Snatchers. The plant took over the person it was next to. They were covered with a clear get type substance. The mask is a good representation of that look!

Lady not only do you and I look a lot like each other, this is where you and I really are alike! I love Neutrogena products, elf products, I use the telescopic mascara but waterproof, and I love Thrive as my second chose . I will tell you I use elf setting spray, and for mascara removal Garnier Micellar cleansing water is the best! I have tried several other tubing mascara but so far this is the best. Tubing mascara needs to be washed off with warm water. Take a cloth and then gently wipe down and the tubes should come off easily

When I lived in Florida my skin looked so much younger than it does now in the Pacific Northwest! There are good and bad parts to the humidity there. I recently tried Beekman's Goat Milk lotions and like them (all natural and no greasy feel after applying). Lots of scents too.

Sometimes during the day i just rub a drop of hand cream on the tops of my hands. That helps when you don’t want the oils to get on anything

Welcome to the humidity of the south. I learned quickly that bangs did not work well with my naturally curly hair. It took forever, but I finally grew out my bangs and I'm much happier. My hair will still grow a couple of inches in volume on a summer day. I wish I could wear mascara - just irritates my eyes to no end. I used to get my lashes and brows dyed, but I never got the timing down so that there was a stark difference from one day to the next. I'll never forget this older gentleman that I worked with commenting how great I looked (not in a creepy way) the day after I had them done and that he couldn't figure out what was different. It does make a huge difference - my lashes are long, but pale (almost white). Hope you have a great weekend.
I hear ya Kay Dee! My hair was not liking the humidity but my skin was! 😊 Well darn that the lash dye did not work out so well for you and that you can not wear mascara! Have you ever thought about lash extensions? Maybe not as much for the length (you can get them as long or short as you want) but they are already colored. My daughter was getting lash extensions a lot last summer and she never needed to wear mascara. Her lashes looked beautiful. If fact, I don't even think she needed to wear any eyeliner after getting those either. It was just a natural beautiful look. The bummer is that you have to go get them filled about every 2-3 weeks to keep them up. 🤷♀️ Just like getting your nails done. Happy Sunday!

I find that Nemat Amber is reminiscent of Glossier's You fragrance and also like Juliet has a Gun Not a Perfume. Love them all.

I have started binge watching your channel; I LOVE it! My Walmart and Target online carts are filling up quickly 😋 I have been using the Elf Face Cream for about 8-10 months. It's wonderful. Leaves my face feeling super moisturized but not greasy. I use the eye cream too and *love* it. Elf gives you a generous amount of the eye cream and it is SO cheap. Most eye creams are so expensive these days. ELF has a sale going on their website right now and you can get the face and eye cream (along with many other items) for 40% off. Since you already use and enjoy the ELF camo concealer, I would encourage you to try the ELF *hydrating* camo concealer. I liked the original a lot, then I tried the hydrating version and I use it every single day. It's my "holy grail". I am 59 years old so I have my fair share of lines and wrinkles around my eyes and this is the best I have found for a concealer.

I have been using the Neutrogenia hand cream for years. I only use it at night so it can really soak in. I use other lotion on my hands during the day. It works amazingly well like this.

OMGosh Rita! I am so sorry to hear you had no power for 8 days!!!!! Did you have to go stay at someone else's house or a hotel?? How awful! We lost power for about 3-4 days in the winter one time and had to go live at my in laws for that time.

I use the Neutrogena hand cream, but only at night with gloves it's fantastic for dry cracked hands,only thing I have found to heal them, can't stand it during the day to greasy

My über, über dry skin is also very finicky, and I have learned that Pond's Dry Skin cream is its best friend (just as Pond's cold cream is the only mascara remover my lashes like). And as of late, Rimmel's Wonder'Luxe Volume mascara has been outperforming the L'Oreal Butterfly version that was my favorite.

I’ll have to try the Elf products. I’ve tried the concealer though and it was to dry for me and I had problems getting the right shade. Neutrogena hand cream is to greasy for me I tried it over 20 years ago but my hands were so desperately dry this winter I tried the neutrogena hydro boost whipped body balm with hyaluronic acid and my skin is super sensitive most hand lotion and cremes make my hands red and itchy, this was a miracle for me and it’s not as sticky as the other lotion. The Maybelline lifter gloss is also incredible, tried it based on another You Tuber and it has hyaluronic acid making it super moisturizing and it does glide on so smoothly. I love the shades Reef and Moon but I might have to go get Petal now too. And the mask you tried in the beginning.
Hi Deb! It is hard sometimes to find a great lotion cause you never know how it will work with your skin. I have used this Neutrogena hand lotion now a few times and it has worked but it takes a few minutes for it to sink in and not feel greasy. Some people were saying that they put it on at night before bed. Love the feel of that gloss. You described it perfectly! 😊👍🏻 Have a great day Deb!

I love the Loreal lifter gloss. I have several colors. I do not notice much plumbing, if any, but the lip feel and color payout is awesome, especially for a gloss. The color you chose looked good on you. Thank you for the Elf recommendations, and I may even pick up some amber oil, too. 😘

I'm new to your channel. I have watched a few of your video's with your Walmart hauls. I have been amazed with items that I have found. Why pay $25 for a tee shirt that you can get for $10 or under?? I am a makeup junkie, not that I buy everything but have found there are really good products that are just as good as the high price $$$ ones. I watch a few YT channels and get some good product recommendations. I recently have tried some l have recently ordered some ELF products that I'm really liking, here they are: Primer Glow Oil (love), here's the biggie - CAMO CC cream (has a SPF of 30) and their primer infused blush (very natural). I was a big Thrive mascara user. It is very good but pricey. You have got to try Maybelline Sky High mascara, the stores can't keep it in stock. It was $9 compared to $27 for Thrive. Also need to try Essence Volume Booster lash primer. It has acai oil, mango butter and Vitamin E (great). Sorry for the long post just one more item that I picked up was a eye liner by pixi by petra endless silky eye pen (color Black Cocoa), very easy to apply, beautiful color. I also wear both the Garnier BB cream, but not the moisturizing, I use the oil free and the ELF camo cover up! I don't like the newer formula either, why do they fix it if it ain't broke??!! One thing that really helped me thicken up and lengthen my lashes is Rapid Lash Eyelash & Brow Enhancer, you need to use it every night for a few weeks but the difference is amazing! You inspired me to try the Petal Lip Lifter, I just ordered it, it's very pretty!

But I have never tried amber oil. I’ve never even heard of it so that sounds very interesting to me. I will definitely check that out. I love Neutrogena products, elf products, I use the telescopic mascara but waterproof, and I love Thrive as my second chose . I will tell you I use elf setting spray, and for mascara removal Garnier Micellar cleansing water is the best! I have tried several other tubing mascara but so far this is the best. Tubing mascara needs to be washed off with warm water. Take a cloth and then gently wipe down and the tubes should come off easily

When I lived in Florida my skin looked so much younger than it does now in the Pacific Northwest! There are good and bad parts to the humidity there. I recently tried Beekman's Goat Milk lotions and like them (all natural and no greasy feel after applying). Lots of scents too.

Elf just came out with the Camo CC Cream. It is the dup to the IT Cosmetics CC Cream, but way cheaper. It is amazing!!
Wow, I have tried a CC cream in the past and it has been too thick for me but maybe that one would be different! Hard to get away from my BB cream though since I absolutely love it! 😊 Thanks for the tip though! Happy Tuesday!
