Mortal Kombat 1 was the most expensive game I have ever bought in my entire life I think I've already spent around $200 but I honestly feel bad for the people that are still continuing to buy Mortal Kombat add-ons for this game and they already burned a hole in their life savings over the collector's edition

Edit: I also think MK vs DC should also be apart of the collection.
I was real mad that I paid for the ultimate edition for 130 for it to be cut in half later and not get khaos reigns for the other half :(

They did say in the interview “ we are already working on the next big game!” I hope it’s a remaster of this game! I personally haven’t played the game but I’ve watched so many videos on it and I’m personally in love with mk lore especially the older games. So I would be excited if they remastered this game.
They didn't say that, it was just "We have no plans for a future game and we are going to focus in mk1"

I'll say it again. If you had deception konquest like the mk11 krypt with open world that would be epic. Finding others and go into battle. Winner gets to unlock stuff the opponent might carry or something like that.
The fightings could work like Street Fighter 6: World Tour where it changes from a 3D Movement to a 2D Fighting Game
They could make Deception as the second game in the current timeline
They sorta cover that story, Shujinko getting his memories and powers stripped by Liu Kang makes a much better plotline than running back Onaga again since Reiko somehow lost Onaga and he is missing.

I've been saying this for years on end...Bring back Konquest like what we had in Deception and Armageddon. We had 5 whole Realms to run around, interact with characters, learn their movesets, find cool chests which gave us a good reason to head back to the Krypt, nice environments with understanding where everyone lives in their own realms, connections between multiple characters and more. The Chaos Realm, Order Realm and Edenia BARELY get recognition and the only ones that get focused are Earth Realm, Outworld and sometimes Netherrealm. Konquest alone did sooooo much that I played more of it than the regular arcade mode. Even in the regular arcade mode we had great stage transitions, instakill areas and even Stage Weapons for certain maps. They could've still made stage transitions at the very least and made it just like the ones Guilty Gear Strive has. The only other modes that even came close was the Tetris Kombat, Chess Kombat and the SUPER SUPER SUPER FUN Racing Kombat. I have no idea why they never brought any of these things back. Also, the create a character in Arma was pretty cool and I feel like they could've kept bringing this back with more improvements in order to make fights interesting. They could've added Create-a-Character and let people decide if they wanted to check a box in settings to fight other characters made by other players online or not. Even if we can't play certain characters just bring back Konquest and put those non-playable characters in their own realms so we can see them and just give them slight visual/outfit upgrades every game. It'll get people into the lore more in terms of realms and characters. Also, if they remaster Deception...I want a Shaolin Monks Remaster right after.
PS: give me that Sub-Zero skin from Deception. That is my favorite skin of him and I have not seen a better skin since imo.
I bought the MK1 premium edition for 109.99 about a year ago which included all the kameos and the first batch of DLCs minus Shang Tsung. In my mind, asking for MORE money after spending $100+ on a game is just robbery and they’ll keep doing it cuz it’s normalized. I ain’t spending NO more money on this game unless Jade becomes available or they add a mode worth a damn. And UnderDawg is trying to make it sound like it’s some sort of deal when it used to be normal to buy a game ONCE and simply play it to unlock everything…
I just can’t wrap my head around $50 for characters I don’t want, a short story, and some costumes.
Khaos Reigns costs 250 BRL for Brazil, that's quite a lot.

Considering we've gotten PSP titles on the PS4/PS5 recently, like Soulcalibur Broken Destiny and that version of Tekken 6, I could see MK Unchained getting ported the same way.
Forget about Remaster Deception. I would personally welcome the Mortal Kombat Collection. MK, MK2, MK3, UMK3, MKT, MK4, MK4:Gold on the First Collection. MK Mythologies, Shaolin Monks, Special Forces, MK Deadly Alliance, MK Deception, and MK Armageddon on the second
Deadly alliance was seen as more polished competitively cause it's really technical and there's a lot to learn, deception was more fun in the meantime I think both games really are meant to be played back to back

We need a remaster of both Decption and Armaggedon I really like those PS2 titles. If they can bring back konquest for the next MK game they need to along with chess Kombat and create a fighter we can only wait and hope.

I wish that the info of them being buyable separately was known before hand. Would have saved people a ton of money but I know that's not what these companies want.
I definitely would have not bought the bundle for double the money If I could have just bought the characters separate from the beginning. All I would really miss would be WW2 Johnny and Empress Li Mei, but something tells me we'll see them in the premium store soon enough

It's not a fumble. Boon himself stated that there were a lot of goodies that he just wanted people to discover for themselves in the expansion. I like that approach. Surprises are nice. Also you forgot to mention that they gave every kombatant an Animality and for absolutely free.

Konquest coming back would be the absolute best if they incorporate the koin system they had to use at the krypt. Allow massive replay ability with konquest on as many characters as they can develop for konquest. MK has a bright future ahead if they really focus on konquest and the things we loved like with shaolin and the capability to plug in two controllers and play story with a friend in basement in a fun fashion of fighting new to MK.

Remember in MK 11, with each DLC character, we also used to get 3-4 different skins for that specific character, and also, a skin pack for other 3-4 characters? That's the main issue with the price for this game. Too expensive, and its value is too low. Best gameplay, but no substance in the game.
We also got some new costumes and victory poses with Aftermath.

I mean $8 is still a small but yet steep price for just a character but I don't see it being the case if everyone/anyone is looking to buy all 3 characters if they needed or waited out until the price drops, which then again you're still paying a sum of money for the characters anyways.
Also assuming Ed does make a remaster of Deception I wander if it will be 1 on 1 as the original if not added new stuff to it!? Like yeah there was a story mode call Konquest mode but that's hardly a story mode as I call it and more prior version of World tour mode in SF6. Still it would be kool to see it return 1 of these days, that and Shaolin Monks(and if so please let it be on Switch).

Khaos Reigns felt short... but it also has the "Empire problem" of being the middle "movie" of the trilogy but also the setup half of the 2 part story that is 2 and 3. See also Matrix and others
I like that idea I mean the first half of the story reminded me of deadly alliance, then Armageddon. If they could add deception as well then mk1 would have all of the 3d era types in the already story. So I'm game
You’re also buying the last kombat pack with the kameos. So in all, you have a 3 hour expansion, 14 characters, like 7 kameos, a bunch of skins, etc.

I paid for the bundle and in my opinion i say it was worth it i mean we get 6 characters new skins for the characters and the story was fun but sad at the end but it is what it is but for konquest mode i dont know its role here cause invasion is kinda konquest mode but difrent with challenges mini game and also klues to decipher

Armageddon konquest mode is basically the same thing as deception konquest the only difference is your playing as a different character
While it's nice that they will give us the option to buy the characters separately I still kinda want to play the expansion so I'll just wait until the whole thing is on sale

If kharacters are $8 a piece, then that's $48 for KP2, so just get the expansion. It's expensive but if you're a real fan, you wouldn't komplain about the price.

Khaos costs 50 Euro in Germany. 6 x 8,00 Euros is 48,00 Euro. That would be 2 Euro for a three hour long B-movie. You can't rent a movie fo 2 bucks. I still think buying Khaos full price was fanboy decision, though.

To be fair you do get quite allot for that £40, but I still think it's £10 too high. Still it worked on me cause even though I haven't stopped playing the game I am playing it sometimes two times a day. If those prices are correct then I think it's funny a character costs less than an announcer voice.
Invasions is fundamentally based off of the krypt from the 3D era-- just kinda poorly designed in some aspects since you have to back out to access the cyclical shop.
