Sonya is also name dropped by Johnny in the labyrinth. “This corridors go on and on like my old C.O. Damn Major Blade could talk.” Is the exact quote.
I would love to see Jade as a rushdown character! She’s never been one so it’d be a cool concept. She could use her glaive to split into 2 knives. NRS has consistently given every character in MK1 incredible redesigns. So it’d be a shame for Jade to miss out on this

It'd be a stupid decision for NRS not to make Jade DLC, she's a fan favorite, and sell well. Its almost like the Mileena situation of Mk11.

My take would be that Story Part 3 would have a Resolution to the whole Timeline situation. They should still exist,but the borders should be more complex so that a simple Invasion can't happen.

She was not mistaken because Nitara mentioned on Jade’s dialogues a “edenian” and a assassin. Which doesn’t fit Cyrax. These lines are not on the game btw so prob been save for Jade

I still think Kombat pack 3 is Jade , Cassie and Kung Jin. They are not deconfirmed , they are just not confirmed yet.
Also I think it was Jade’s lines for sure that was used for Cyrax BUT there are some lines that didn’t make into the game , for example Nitara calls a “edenian” there is literally no edenian missing on the game besides Jade. Cassie and Kung Jin lines was also used for other characters too , but not all the lines, just the generic ones as from Jade’s. The lines are bettween Takeda and Nitara , which were used lines from Cassie and Kung Jin. That doesn’t mean they ain’t coming tho. The characters are developed wayyy back the launch and if KP3 drops 2025 , they are pretty much almost done with them. As them was the only characters found things on the files from KP3, they are most likely the ones coming.
The internet bash this game so much, but I'm having so much fun with the pack 2 and season 8, I think it's one of the best in terms of balancing the difficulties and also awarding with more season koins. If the don't want to bring Jade back like in MKX, they could do a mode for Kitana, that would be cool
I think story mode part 3 should focus on the outworld civil war with shao kahn's faction going up against milena's. maybe then jade will get a chance to make an appearance
In the story you can see Khameleon throw Jade’s staff when she was teaming with sektor

A special forces expansion would be dope. Jax, Sonya, Kano, Kabal, kobra, and Erin Black. Maybe make kobra refreshed. Or even frost in the group.

A 3rd Story Expansion is Happening no matter what that as the Dialogues are teasing about Shang’s Island I believe we’ll get to see the Tournament with Clone of the Roster and Cassie and Jacqui not returning makes sense as they appear in MK11 and Kung Jin and Takeda has to appear to balance the Roster, I doubt Jade will be Scrapped as she’s Requested by Fans and I also doubt she’ll be a Kameo when Khameleon is a great example of it and Cassie could be replaced by Sonya or Chameleon.
I have a bad feeling that Jude‘s not coming that someone else might be taking our place. He did say a character got canceled and got cut from the game.

I reckon that Noob, as the grandmaster of the Lin kuei, is going to recruit Frost, turning her into the new Sub-Zero in a future story.
I have to admit the woman shown in the cut art reminded me more of Johnny's ex-wife from the story mode. Which would be interesting to see alternate versions of her because I like the idea of her being more than just a one-off character. Johnny even mentions her in the new story. So I feel like she is meant to be at least a slightly bigger part then the story suggests. I have already talked about an idea for a third story DLC and that is a combined invasion from the fused worlds of Titan Shao Kahn, Titan Sindel, Titan Kitana, Titan Mileena, Titan Skarlet and Titan Reiko. Also just going to include this s a bonus. If there is a final story whether it is the third one or a later one. I'm guessing it will be one where the other timelines are either sealed off or in some other way stop constantly invade Liu Kang's realm. A couple of the Arcade endings (Geras for instance) suggests that the invasions will eventually stop.
Scorpion is Kuia Liang, so Hirumi undergo the ritual of being a cryomancer to bring balance and honor back to Lin Kwei. Sektor is against this, kidnaps or recruits Hanzo, giving him a Mark II version that is more machine than man and retrieving Bi Han and giving him armor to help stabilize his body and now you have Cyber - Smoke and Cyber- Noob. Liu Kang is the Fire God of balance, Havik is the Titan of Khaos, so now you need Titan Shao or Kotal. With them you can bring Jade, Sonya, Kano, and Movado.
Well Remember in mk1 with all of the Dorfen references, Well why not have him a fully playable character that is secretly working for Quan Chi and Shinnok while being a High Mage of Outworld. Working to make a spilt between Outworld and Earthrealm. During this time, with the Amulet of Shinnok, he absorbs the powers of Noob Saibot. Dorfen's game play is similar to MKD Noob Saibot

The Noob Saibot and Cyber initiative sagas are some of my favourite in mortal Kombat and I wasn’t super impressed with how they handled it in Khaos Reigns. I have a few ideas about what another DLC could be about:
1️⃣ Continue DLC1: I think they could do a lot of cool stuff if they continued the arch’s set up in DLC1. I think it would be really interesting to continue Sektors work with the cyber initiative into the actual cyborgs that we know and love. Maybe sektor loses an arm and replaces it with technology and then continue to a full cyborg. I think that aspect really fleshers out Sektor as a character and it would be especially interesting if they leaned into the horror of it. Also I want to know what happens with Noob, especially if they can make a way for both Noob and Sub-zero to return in the future.
2️⃣ Special forces: introduce the special forces and more earth realm characters. (Sonya, Jax, Kano, Striker, Kabal etc.) show how they would react and possibly be fearful of this unique and dangerous world.
3️⃣ Outworld: Develop the issues going on within Outworld. What’s Shao up to? I don’t really play Jade much but she is a integral character to the story and I hope others get to play as her. There has been hints about Onaga and that might be where this story goes.
These are just some ideas I have but honestly the more we get in Mortal Kombat 1, the better. The roster is superb and with every new character it just gets better and better. I think that it just needs to get the last of the fan favourites and it will be practically perfect.
Strong feelings that the Jade "cut" is just MK teams playing the role of Khaos against it's community to further embrace the energy of what we currently have at hand, Khaos Reigns. They know that "cutting" Jade would cause an uproar, so they ran with it.
I need a jade, Sonya, Cassie and Jacqui. The last two were only in two games and they were by far my two favorite characters. Jade and Sonya are honestly just for my nostalgia feels❤

If story mode part 3 happens then we need Onaga. Reikos new intro reveals after he tamed Onaga he eventually gone rogue therefore he failed to tame Onaga and he’s still out there and the Kamidogu are at the temple of elements so hopefully we get a deception type story
give underdawg the screenwriter job at mk, bro will give us som nice storymodes that every mk player would love
General is mentioned a few times a potential “future” threat. Maybe the story continues in favor of that angle?
I'm now hoping MK1 gets held out long enough to make it the 2nd Armageddon of the fanchise... But then I question would they really try to pull that concept via DLC??
I said this before but I think they should take a episodic approach to dlc story campaigns, we explore a new realm, with a titan that's a different mk character and we get a small story with them, I think of like the snowblind movie, and maby sprinkle some things leading to a grand narrative, like a tv show, or the mcu when it was good, because of the post credits it felt like they where going from there infinity war to end game, but really there was no real conclusions only a rushed end, which is disappointing.

Look at the menu for chaos reigns There's enough room on that scrolling thing for 3 more acts So this game's likely gonna finish off with eight acts in total
I think I have to concur with everyone that Jade definitely needs to return. And she needs to still be a 36-24-36 (and a Scorpio).
And I'm in the small crowd that actually liked the Khaos Reigns story well enough. The only part I didn't care for was the abrupt ending, but it was otherwise neat seeing an elseworld Rain and Tanya with their story, and even seeing the new versions of Sektor and Cyrax. Nothing groundbreaking, but thankfully nothing insulting.
Honestly I do not believe there will be Story Expansion 2. Storywise there is nothing because of multiverse

Gone be another $50 for a mid story. I fw mortal Kombat heavy, I grew up on it and it’s sad to see them turning into another EA and 2k company. I paid $100 for the premium edition I shoulda got everything up till this point at least, especially considering you can get it all for $90 now. I’ll definitely probably get the next mk or injustice game but it’ll be a year or 2 after it drops. I ain’t gonna willingly throw my money at a scam, that’s why I stopped playing 2k and madden games.

I'm happy with Sonya just being a Kameo, I really don't want certain characters being in EVERY damn game. Kabal shouldn't be in every game, Jax shouldn't be in every game, Johnny shouldn't either but I liked how they handled him in this one.

Honestly I always forget to like your videos even tho I watch a lot of them and love all of them. Seeing the amount of likes on your good content not being as they should is pretty disappointing so I’ve been trying hard to remember.
This might be a hot take but I’m okay not having Jade in this game. I know she has fans but she’s semi-replaced with both Tanya and Khameleon, not entirely but the staff, glave, projectile immunity, and going from a royal guard to a countess means she needs to be redone to stand out.
But she’s not deconfirmed. She’s just not confirmed yet. But if I have to guess I think she still coming on kp3

NetherRealm needs to close off the timeline/dimension jumping for good, it’s starting to get lame. Have OP versions of Hotaru (order), Raiden (thunder), Fujin (wind), Liu Kang (earth), Scorpion (fire) and Sub Zero (ice/water), and a holy Shinnok (magic) watching over all of the realms as the new Gods. Remove all traces of Kronika and Cetreon from existence. Bring the game down to a more human level instead of making it all about timelines, portals, magic, spells…etc. also, make it a bit darker, like UMK3 (sounds, menu, lore). I’d be a better writer than what we got for this game. I really thought MK1 was going to be the beginning of a whole new era, yet we got MK original - MK11 bleeding into this one.

We have Mileena, Katinna and Tanya we have 3 of 4 of edienas so to finish of the ninja girls we need Jade otherwise mortal kombat is fumbling the bag. She's been a hidden character and playable in Mk11 it's like they remaster them and then say no their dead. Lui Kang restarted history which means Jade is alive and well. Major Blade would of been awesome if we got as a skin for cameo Sonya Blade.
Hot take warning: I think Jade’s overrated. She’s just been Kitana’s friend until MK11, where she was just Kotal’s girlfriend who stopped him from committing genocide and then forgave him like it was a mild harm.
I’ll redownload the game when it happens. Because rn I just can’t with this game atm. Hopefully the dlc is better then the one we got.
Hopefully they nerf some of the bs in this game. Because playing this game online is hell. I’m still waiting on that Kenshi nerf. Same for Smoke. if Jade is not in this game and they swapped her for a gender swap cyrax (that no one asked for) and a reformed Tanya this will be my last Netherealm & wb game. but seeing how the cybog inititive played out was needed for this new timeline. this game in a season of multiverse should have been a season of returners where are they NOW.
