That Baumalight flail mower is amazing! Perfect for clearing paths and trails in the woods.
Good Morning Sir, it will be perfect for your Wood Lots 🤔👍👌😇 Cheers 🍻🍻
I am using it tomorrow
I can definitely say that when it comes to testing, you're the best Tony. You definitely know how to get the equipment going and pushing it to its limits. And that's what I like to see when someone is demonstrating equipment. I wanna see what it can do, and you've accomplished that. Thanks for sharing!! 🙂
We have another video coming out about the flail mower. It is an amazing tool
It’s great to have you back mate hope you are all doing well mate Joe
You as well. We are doing some cool stuff.
wow what an attachement this is , wow ,,,, love this thing ,, bucket list item heheh
It is a good one. I still use it to mow!

Our pleasure! I try to comment to everyone, but it is becoming a challenge now.
Acquitted itself well Tony. Tough implement.
I have a few videos coming out with it.

Perfect timing! We just spent $23K on 50 hours of forestry mulching. They had 2 Cat steers on track and the first day and a half’s work was magic! Something sheered off in the gear box that runs the track. A day and a half later they got it fixed. Starting clearing and THE OTHER SIDE did the same thing! These machines are 1 year old. They had a good crew that followed a efficient plan of attack on clearing that were also good mechanics. Down another day for a bad DEF sensor. Lost Hydraulics on a hose while using a tree shredder and the last straw was when they were cutting down a century old Oak tree and hit a huge rock at the base. The owner said he was done! And left. The original price was for 80 hours of work. My point is although we have a big tractor that can’t get in like a skid steer, it’s good to see there are attachments that we can use taking it slower at our leisure and cutting trees to make paths first. Have you hit a big rock yet? Wondering what damage that causes?
23k ?? How many acres did you get done
I knocked off one tooth so far. It was two minutes to replace and $20. It is worth it.
@@TonysTractorAdventure
I was wondering which teeth you were running in this machine the
F 3000 heavy duty?
I'm sub'd to both.....Love this flail mower.
This thing is a beast of a mower.
we are planning on clearing a lot of buckthorn and worried about the cost. This may be more cost effective than hiring out someone. As stated by others anything over 3" I'm burning in the wood stove. Our buckthorn is so thick and clustered this looks like a great solution! thanks for the review!
We have a lot to clean up, so it will be much more cost effective. It also, allows us to work at our own pace.
LOVE IT!!! I need one of those!
It is a beast. Love it.
Rockhill.......... Epic
Hello Tony,
I am new to your channel. The envious trees are Sumac; we have them all over here in Michigan
They are not common here, but I see them more often now.
We were wondering what the emissions control maintenance requirements are for the TYM 464. Would love to find out this information. Thank you for all of the information you are giving.
It is a T474. It has a Regen system. We are over 250 hours and it has never once regenerated. We operated at a high RPM for most jobs so it runs super clean. We also run good fuel.
Thank you very much.
Great video. I don't have near as much to clear as you but I'd rather buy once and have something that will last and do what I need. Curious if you think a Kioti CK4020 could handle the FMP260? It's 33 hp at the PTO. Thanks
Absolutely, I use this on my 25hp tractor.
How many pto horsepower is your tractor? Great video!
There is mixed information. The website says 35.9hp. I have read of people putting their T474s on a dyno. They are getting 38 plus true PTO HP. It may vary by tractor, so TYM indicates the low end.
Awesome mower Tony, kinda like a Flail/Finish Mower on steroids. Oughta be a great great implement.
It is pretty awesome. We had a good time, but not enough time.
Tony I keep telling Brock becareful cause he might wind up with some red tractors after hanging out with you lol.
We can hope!
It looks like you did some mowing in reverse. My current Flail mower will not mow in reverse without burning the belts. It would be a HUGE advantage to be able to mow in reverse. Does the FMP mow in reverse?
It does not mow well in reverse but it knocks the stuff down. I can then mow forward kicking but. The mower doesn't care if it goes forward or reverse.
Hey Tony, great videos! Do you think the FMP260 be a good fit for the T25? Thanks!
Only on level ground. It is heavy for side loads.
Short answer. Yes, in ground like I have. Not for steep ground
Did Brock shoot an episode out there? He's usually a bit more talkative.
Yes, I have already released a few videos from my trip to Tony’s house
In this case my video was actually shorter but I added my unnecessary voiceovers😂
I'm sure Tony put you to work, he's always got projects going on. It's cool seeing you guys working together
You should in the great dust bowl of Tenn. please where a Respirator so you or Tanya or Brook do not get sick....... So your goal is to do ten yards by 5 feet every week or are you going to hit it hard and do 2 to 5 acres.... That is why on the front it is easier to do big jobs!!!!
In this case the reason we didn’t clear that much area is that I was visiting for two days and Tony wanted to show me several different things he had, so we were limited on time
We also milled some logs in the sawmill
It is unbearably dusty here. We praying rain soon.
I can't believe you guys don't show the cutting knives on this.
Not sure what you mean? We have made several videos with it and show the knives.
@@TonysTractorAdventurejust seems like a real good time to show the teeth.
The spec sheet for the flail mower rates the machine for a maximum 30 horsepower tractor. TYM advertises the 474 as 48 horsepower tractor. Wouldn’t it be more of a test, if you used properly rated equipment with the implement? Please correct me, if I got something wrong in my research of the equipment.
I have what I have.
Really would have liked a closer look at the results…… 🤷🏼♂️
I am putting another video out where we get dirty with it. Stay tuned
I am new to this and have a question. What happens id you drive straight over stuff vs in reverse?
It knocks it down, and then mulches it when you pull back forward.
Are those the heavy duty teeth, and if so are they good on regular pasture grass too?
They are very heavy duty teeth. It mowes very well and fast. I have a video out there somewhere mowing fast.
@@TonysTractorAdventure I just ordered the F3000 teeth. I'll be mowing grass more than anything. You think they'll do as good as the F2000?
Can I use it on a rk25 tractor
How much is that one
Different prices based on a lot of factors. I put a link to the company.
Awful dusty looks like you need rain like we do here in Texas.
It has been so dry here. We stopped making trails until we get a little rain.
