I watch these videos more than any other. I’m fascinated that you both know the keys and how to get the exact sound you are thinking about. You make it look so easy! Just think if kids were given instruments instead of computer games how magical the world would be. Love It!!!
They probably make more on youtube than they would on tour. What I enjoy about Dr. K. besides is his amazing musical talents is that he is EVER polite and never arrogant. A pleasure to watch him online always.

My dad was a honkie tonk bar room, boogie woogie blues and country and western piano player. I grew up listening to this stuff. He would have loved to have played with you. Thanks for bringing back some really good old memories. He passed away about 11 years ago. I haven't heard much of this since.

Funny how people pay good amounts of money to see performances like this at venues amd concert halls but simply disregard it when it's free in public. Something to be said about marketing and the perception of value.
Funny how people buy food in the store, but will dodge if you throw an apple at their face. People who pay for a concert want to see a concert, if you dont want to see a concert you wont pay for one and therefor wont want to see someone play in public
Every single kid in every single school in every single universe should be taught how to play music, like properly play. Sacrifice other subjects and replace them with music. This just makes everyone happy. And the spin-offs to learning music are world-saving. Unreal fellas!
My grandfather could pick up any instrument and play a song. All my aunt's have stories about band. I begged and begged for piano lessons. We didn't have enough money. My grandmother bought me an electronic keyboard and when my grandmother heard me play he gave me a piano. Two of the best gifts I've ever received!

With many of these videos, I'm amazed how many people take a glance and continue walking. Are we in too much of a hurry to enjoy the moment ? And then there is the cell phone videos. Capturing it on your phone instead of capturing it in your mind !!!
A lot of the public pianos are in train stations, people rushing past are probably trying to get to the train on time (esp as the ones they go to are usually places where a lot of people will be travelling for a few hours, I've missed the last direct train home from London before and got stranded in the Midlands)

When he flipped over & started okaying up-side-down & backwards...it blew me away! I've played the ivory for over 50 years & never have I seen it played that way! Awesome! Well done son!
