This worked a treat! Your instructions were brilliant. I’m not handy at all but bought the torx bit set for $20 at Bunnings and the new infuser part $60 and it worked. I was originally quoted $250 plus parts. Thank you ❤
The clip that holds the hose on the back of the infuser (3:33) partially came out on my machine, preventing the infuser from fully opening. This video helped me understand how to access the infuser without destroying the machine. Got it fixed in time to enjoy my morning coffee. Thank you so much for sharing.
This is a great video Dave. This seems to be a common problem with the Nespresso machine, well for me at least. I had the infuser fail on our previous machine the EN720 and now on our current machine EN650B. I looked high and low for a manual and couldn't find anything relating to this machine, (the milk frother was playing up a couple of weeks ago and it didn't seem to be a common problem). Then I stumbled across this video which is a great help. Thanks.
Thanks Dave! The new part works great. No more leaks! 😊 I believe the original part went bad when my visiting relative manhandled the lever when the pod bay was full. Instead of emptying the used pods he forced the lever down which most likely bent an internal part and prevented it from sealing properly. The new part arrived in a couple days and I followed your instructions. I am happy to report my Nespresso machine is back to work again making my morning coffee. Thanks for the help!
Thanks for a great video. I had a different problem and couldn't work out how to get into my machine before I watched this. All I did was follow your instructions until you removed the top and pulled the little plug. I then plugged it back in and it reset my machine and it's working again. Thanks
Thanks. I wanted to buy a new one. Because the price of repair is almost the price of a new coffee machine. But the price of the part is only 1/3 of the price of the service at the service center. So I replaced it myself.
Thank you for your wonderfull video I have the same problem only mine it is less than 6 month old machine, it has occasional leack issues but the worst is it never puncture the cartridges of coffee which always cause the coffee to leak in the tray and the cup of coffee fills with water more than coffee ! I tried to follow your steps on your other video ( cleaning the plate with tooth brush to get out any coffee deposits that could be blocking the holes in side that plate but I got no improvements , I used deblocking cartridges that has inside descaling products instead of coffee but that didn’t work either .. I want to open and try to clean the plate but I wonder if after removing this plastic cylinder would I be able to have access to the plate to have look at it ? Thank you
I have the en500 model .. got as far as removal of the 2 screws at the back (3:14) so I could access the screws to the infuser..no such luck, on my model they cunningly put one screw on the "INSIDE" of the plastic backing at the base, which is impossible to get at .. off to purchase a new machine now 🤣🤣🤣 .. thanks anyway 👍
Yours came apart with no big force! Seems like it was taken apart several times. Mine was so hard my nails sort of detached from the tips of my fingers nut I was able to take it apart just to suck water form the top hose as it was all air and the pump was not able to deliver water. Mine id F111 by the way.

Brilliant video thanks - spare part cost £45 and saved me having to spend £350 on a new machine.
