The good old boys having fun and making the earth a better place. Keep it up! Right on!.
We're trying!
That was fun guys!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the adventure!!!
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Over 2 hours of fun, can't wait to watch it!
We appreciate it!
Every 7 seconds, someone is laughing on average 🤣🤣🤣
We like to have a good time!
Just a thought. If you mounted a big stepper motor onto the front of your beast, rotating a boat-width tube of spikes, you'd get something that either broke through thin ice, or just pulled the entire ship up onto the ice and be a river sled. Fisher & Paykel washing machines used to make a stepper motor powered washing machine (they probably still do) that is often rewired and repurposed for wind generation. The cool thing about being a stepper is that you can turn it as slow as you want, jam it into reverse, or run it fast. You can even make it just shake like it's broken (good for making crushed ice). But, I suspect it would have a shipload of torque and would do the job. If it doesnt, just buy more of them. But it's always flat and almost friction free on a frozen river. It's not like frozen rivers are uphill a lot, so it shouldn't take much. Second hand, an old motor will set you back US$100 or so. Either way it will be an ice breaker. Even if it's just the kind of ice breaker that starts conversations with new friends. ie. "I remember when I was a young man, we made a washing machine powered-river-tractor-sled-houseboat... With a sail." Just a thought. An absurd almost impossible to pull off thought, but if anyone can make a houseboat snowmobile, it's probably you guys. *I've never seen a frozen river
We've talked about something similar to the houseboat snowmobile... Stay tuned!
Your videos are fun.
Thanks for watching!
Keep at it you have a 👍
Thanks! We're trying our best!
its always a good day when MPB posts
We love hearing stuff like this! You made our day!
I was thinking for a quick turn when you are faced upstream. Use a long sturdy pole at one of the back corners and reach the bottom (If you can). I probably wouldn't jam it down because depending on current speeds you could cause some damage, but you might be able to get your self to pivot around the pole.
This is a pretty slick idea! If we could pull it off, we might use it!
Horizon 10. I love your content
Thanks! We love making it!
Guys, you're just cool. I've watched all the boat videos and would like to go on a ride. By the way, Mark is the clumsiest person I've ever seen. Even though he's extremely smart, it's hilarious what keeps happening to him. My tip: Like all research ships, you need a loading crane with a winch.
You urgently need a small chainsaw, preferably with an extension, for the thicker branches in the river. And if it gets shallow, use the engine screw high and continue driving with push rods, otherwise everything will break. at least one screw cage for protection.
Thanks for the kind words! A crane and a winch would be awesome! When we hit it big, that's one of the first things we're getting! We have a chainsaw and a pole saw that come in handy. The push rods are a great idea, but the current gets strong when it's shallow, so we need to start working out!
I hope the name is correct. Coutts? In any case, he always reminds me of De Niro, Easy Rider.
Question: How much does such a large battery cost in the USA?
BEST WISHES AND HAVE FUN!@@MoneyPitBoating
You are correct... It's Coutts! He's quite the character, ain't he?! Each one of the batteries was around $2500, which broke the bank. We were trying to get Dakota Lithium to sponsor us, but they wouldn't. :-(
Mark, couttz, whats up guys, hello from alaska
What's up, dude?! We think it's amazing that we can post a video, and then it travels the world... Such a cool system!
Alaska to my South Australia. This channel has global reach :)
G'day mate! Super cool to hear from the Australians!
That looks fun to do! I had to laugh had when you caught the slip on the dock by the drone 😂 Greets from Germany✌🏼
Guten Tag! We have a blast and love getting moments like that on film! Thanks for watching!
Amazing video.😍
Glad you liked it! Tell your friends!
"Harrison" 1-32 River point access for kayak canoes etc. :)
Ah ha! It's all coming together now! Thanks for watching!
@@MoneyPitBoating Np I kayak from time to time, all though I kayak in Canada (Ontario) Im not far from you in Michigan and if it isn't river point access then Harrison has had way to many children that coincidentally love the riverside and have purchased said locations lol PS I enjoyed watching you guys enjoy yourselves ( don't take a water craft out onto an open lake that is fundamentally held together by a trucking strap ) lol
Bahahahahaha we know! We pick and choose when we go out onto open water because we're terrified that we're going to sink.
Dudes ur gotta put a wormnor live bait under that bobber , the lil yellow artificial lure u need to cast out and reel back in,, 👍good luck!✌️❤️
We need to step our fishing game up on many fronts!
Wish i could be there and help/enjoy the antics,, been fishing/boating most my life, no matters still love ur vids ✌️❤️
You're with us in spirit! Maybe we will do a live stream one day?!
t@@MoneyPitBoating,i aint video purdy but always open to questions/ideas✌️❤
We would do the live stream, and you could watch and leave live comments. We're not video purdy either but we don't care... It's all about the fun!
Just thanking put the ladder across front the steps might break up ice smaller 🤔
Not a bad idea!
You should put four anchors on each side
We were thinking about doing some type of pole anchoring system, like on big work barges. We will see though. Thanks for watching!
you guys are hilarious I love the way you two get along and laugh so much. I subscribed and liked
Welcome aboard! We appreciate you!
You should have made a bubble curtain around the boat then the water wouldn't have frozen
That's not a bad idea but might cost a lot in electricity?
Here's an idea. Put an emergency siren and bright red lights. When you pick a bit of trash 🗑.
Hahahahaha That'd be hilarious!
ex army seen coots tattoo looks like he was ex cav amen went over seas with them good job guys having fun cleaning up river
Thanks for your service too, and the kind words!
Chinese diesel heater with exhaust blowing out the bottom would help with heat an ice
One of those would be pretty nice!
Go and look for 200 W panels
One day, when we hit it big in the UA-cam lottery, we're going to try and get bigger and lighter panels. Stay tuned and thanks for watching!
Any thought to getting a second elec motor?
If we had a better budget, then yes. But we'd have to add more solar and more batteries to keep up with power demands. It would be really fun to steer in circles with the motors going forward and reverse!
@@MoneyPitBoating Or one at the front pushing back. Mass wattage geostationary anchor.
Bahahaha that's gold!
What part of Michigan are you in
We're on the Clinton River which feeds into your fishing grounds!
Agghhh. I wanted to be the first to comment :)
We still love ya!
:)
One question.. where is the coffee. How can you even float without coffee... everything is better with coffee. 19 percent more electric.. coffee guys coffee.
I (Mark) sometimes drink coffee. I agree, it is wonderful. But have you had Red Bull?!
It doesn't look like your doing eney cleaning of the river
Looks like someone made a comment without watching the full video! One of the ENTIRE adventures in here is us pulling garbage out of the river... It's ok though... We still love you, and thanks for watching the parts that you did!
actually small penguin flys and emperor penguin dont
Oh we see what's going on here... (Billy Madison reference)
