Railroad Crossings of the CSX Willard Sub Volume 1

- The CSX Willard Sub runs between Willard, OH and Deshler, OH, and is one of the busiest mainlines in North Central Ohio. This is CSX's main thoroughfare between Chicago and the east coast. Many of the crossings on this line were upgraded to gated signals in the late 90s/early 2000s for the major traffic increase on this line after the Conrail split.
This video will cover 7 crossings around Fostoria and Attica. Volume 2 will show more of the crossings in the towns in between Fostoria and Attica.

That what the Norfolk Southern did on the Decatur Sub in the early 2000s was upgrading the Railroad Crossings with gates. The Decatur Sub of the Norfolk Southern Line in Illinois runs from Decatur to Kansas City, MO

Nice video! Have you recorded the new LEDs on the crossing at 2:55 yet? Also, this video sure is a bit of a throwback, like the clip at 9:25 showing a C40-8 leading an ex-Conrail C40-8W, neither of which you'll see on the CSX anymore! That one crossing in Fostoria with Modern Industries 12x20s is also rather nice.

ROW agreements - it's why CSX can use the NEC (despite Amtrak - not CSX - owning it). You will find BNSF and even CN interloping on CSX ROW in Baltimore as well - same reason.
