    When I was little, I loved drying puddles. Not only do you have nicer equipment, but you also make money from it. 🙂

    Very much enjoyed the drone footage. It really does show just how much water is being contained in the forest. It's is looking more like a wetlands than a forest.

    Coming along quickly. Water can be a pain and a blessing in the same spot; weird how that works.

    Wish you could drain that water to North Central Texas, we need it. It would be a long ditch. lol

    What happens to all of the earth that is pushed to the sides? It looks like those berms would catch water and direct it onto the road and ditches. Is this a swamp with all low lying water? Are these logging roads or something else? Greetings from Houston.

    • @brunomckay1875
      @brunomckay1875 Рік тому +3

      The side excess will be ultimately flattened to about a meter minus/plus, by either the excavator or a bulldozer, after compaction it will form part of the drainage system. They will have a reverse slope so that only the road width will attract water and be shed to both sides into the massive VEE drains. All logging roads, all commercial logging activity. Hard to say its a swamp with trees growing to 100 foot in height, if it was a swamp they wouldnt grow that tall.

      It sure looks like rich soil; I wonder if it could be screened into salable loam, given the sandy nature of the base.@@brunomckay1875
