No. The Amen break was played live by a drummer called Gregory "G.C." Coleman. You may be referring to the 'Tramen' break, which was a layering of the Amen break, Samurai break and the Pulp Fiction break. Tramen was created *solely* by Dom and Roland. He calls it his break (and hated that Trace got credited with it and that others used it), but he didn't have a hand in creating any of the breaks *he* sampled to create the break, so that's a bit rich!
The break is known as the " tramen "variant used by trace heavily as his signature break in his most well known tracks was devised by Dom and Roland . Not the standard Amen break sampled from the 1969 tune called Amen Brother . Look up Tramen
