He is not a teacher... He is a choreographer. He is not supposed to teach he is supposed to choreograph for dancer who are already advanced
You've got to realize, that they are preparing these kids for professional studios, and no one there is going to not yell at you if you arent doing something right after that much corrections!

Just screaming “Face!” over and over again doesn’t help Amanda. They need to tell her what face to make. Just saying “be sassy! Be fierce!” doesn’t do anything. To Amanda, that may mean a small smirk and an arched eyebrow, which I did saw her do. To Asia, it means something else. To Brianna, it means something.
Amanda showed small facial expression, but that obviously that wasn’t enough. They just need to explain their critics better it seems, unless it’s being edited out.

Kristian Winkler well the problem is that they can’t tell her what face to make because then it wouldn’t look natural. She needs to act the way she feels but she doesn’t

The choreographer already told her to be sassy, smile and stuff but she isn’t giving him what he wanted
Ultimately she’s one of the older dancers, she should be able to understand & take notes not have to be told every little thing to do like a beginner dancer or the little kids.

She’s a really sweet kid and I feel like if she had less pressure on her she’d probably succeed Anthony wasn’t being a supportive teacher so she probably felt nervous ♡︎

In dance, we are often told to borrow qualities from other dancers. That's why we watch eachothers performances, we have to look for things we shouldn't and should do. Performing with facial expressions is something every dancer should do, not just Asia.

C still, comparing a dancer to another dancer and “telling them to perform like x dancer” does nothing for your self esteem. Sure, every dancer should have facial expressions, and yes, the teacher should tell them that should they need it, but the way it is expressed is important as well.

I'm shocked that Anthony is in AUDC. It's so funny knowing how Abby and Anthony became rivals in 2013/2012? And this show aired in 2012.

I’d prefer another season of this rather than dance moms because with this it’s not the og cast that makes it I actually like the show. And the moms would have a REASON to be so competitive. There would be something to be fighting for not just acting like preschoolers
Yeah, I don’t really care about the newer seasons of Dance Moms, but I would really love another season of AUDC.
I like how the setting and dance costumes be more over the top in this show. The diva dance offs was fun to watch too.

Amanda has subtle expressions, but the ones she gives make you entertained and understand her emotion, I believe she did great, but she can be herself without having the overacted facial!
With dancing it’s like acting do you have to be a new character every routine and if you can’t do that then dance isn’t for you. It isn’t just about the technical dance moves it’s also about telling a story

Periodt .! If you don’t put any emotion in your dance it’s pointless.
if you havent perfected emotion yet then dont bother??? emotion is important but you dont have to be the best at it to still improve
@@audiocutsfordance2679 I agree. We aren't a competition team. And we never have an actual story to our dances. We only smile most of the time. Nothing more. And people still like the outcome of our show, even though we aren't doing facial expressions

Amanda has really amazing technique. Although I would agree that her emotions are really hard to capture in her dancing but she still did great imo and she’s so sweet I think❤️💖💜

AUDC really just proves that your technique matters just as much as your facials and emotion
I think the reason why she got eliminated was because she lacked flexibility (to be a contortionist), and because she totally messed up her turns. Her faces were not that bad tbh.

That isn't the case, she is showing facial expressions but she is not performing out to the entire audience. When you're a dancer you have to over exaggerate your facials so you can perform for even the back row. Her technique is good and I saw a little bit of facials but she could work more on it :)

As a competition dancer I understand Amanda and her facial expressions issue cause I also have that and it’s not that hard to just let go automatically
In a real dance competition such as radix, tda or yagp, the judges wouldn’t really be looking at her face anyway.

Personally, I think it wasn't her fault, I felt like there weren't very many acro/contortion tricks in her number at all and Abby blamed her for not showing flexibility but there was nothing in the dance that really showed it off that much
