Now watching this in 2020 is actually comical. Jojo made all of them eat their words!! She’s now more famous than all of the judges and the other contestants. She never gave up on herself, which I think is very admirable.

She’s farther in the industry, but not because of her dancing. The judges were right to eliminate her. Bottom line, she’s not up to parr with any other dancers, even though she has stage presence.
Zach James I don’t disagree. But as the old saying goes, “hard work beats talent, when talent doesn’t work hard” which I think is very applicable. Trinity talked a lot of smack about a 9 year old for a kid who hasn’t done anything since this show.

i agree especially at that age - a 9yo is just starting puberty and a 13yo is in the more developed stage and that can make a big difference

@@nerdykayla7824 JoJo wasn't even added to the aldc because of her dance ability. I think it was her personality and her mom is what made the producers add her. Trinity was probably still a better dancer than her at the time. But good for JoJo now she's very successful! 💙

I mean Jojo wasn’t at Trinity’s level on the show either. If anything Jojo regressed a lot at the ALDC. Trinity may not have wanted to be on the show. The producers want drama, they don’t care about talent. Trinity continued to train at other studios and is now very well known in the dance world.

I think the thing that sets JoJo apart from every other dancer on this show and Dance Moms is the fact that she will always try and look at the positive side. At nine years old the fact that she could say thank you for this opportunity is incredible to me. I don't think I would have been able to do that.

But Jojo wasn’t at her level and still isn’t trinity, dances for camilla cabello and is constantly improving at hip-hop but JoJo has constantly regressed.Furthermore trinity may not be as rich as JoJo but is much more well known and respected in the dance world so JoJo may be more we’ll known but trinity could and still will our dancer her.
@@karamello1629 I can't agree more. JoJo is relying on performance and marketing to young kids and their parents. Trinity's the one working in the professional dance industry. It made a lot of sense when I rewatched this show lol

Ok but can we appreciate how sweet Jess seemed when Jojo was eliminated! That whole dynamic of comforting her and reassuring her and the lack of drama they both caused when they were sent home! I don't remember if there was drama cut out for this clip, and I know there was drama between the moms anyway, but you could really tell that she just wanted to be there for Jojo in that moment and to make sure she's ok. They handled it like pros!
