    For whatever reason this character has always fascinated me. I think what sets him apart from other Sith is he seems to be one of the best in Sith history at the job of actually ruling an empire. Sith like Vader and Malgus may have been better generals or warriors and Sith like Sidious may have been better at maneuvering themselves into positions of power. But the one who seems to operate the best when they actually are in that position of power is Ragnos. He was one of the only Sith that saw conflict with the Republic as a bad idea and maybe the only Sith in history to die of old age while at the height of their power as emperor of an empire in its golden age.

    If Marka had been active as a Force Wraith, he could have explored the Galaxy. Learning secrets no-one lived long enough to learn. Even learning much about the Jedi, the other lightsaber forms developed and so on.

    As for his dual with Korr, there is also a point to make, that Tavions body was tired/exhausted due to her style, and possibly wounded.
    Second point is, that he did not try to use Tavions lightsaber, which tactically suggests caution, not to use a weapon he is not familiar with, despite it benefits.

      I would say that Marka using his sword rather than the lightsaber would mesh well with his heavy handed fighting style, since swinging something with some weight to it would result in greater force of impact. Still, it could also be a preference

    I think Ragnos’ power scaling is a difficult thing to do... I love Evan’s content and I understand why he relied so heavily on Jedi Academy because Ragnos has near-zero coverage, but there’s one big issue with scaling him to Kor: video game mechanics. The game was made to be winnable, so it makes sense that Kor would be scaled up or Ragnos’ force abilities scaled way down so the player can beat the game. I’d just like to see a story focused on Ragnos for once so we can get some actual deets, ya know?

      Imo, Ragnos takes both Obi and Ani, there is no way a severals century year old Emperor who was undefeated by probably a dosen of Sith lords who seeked his trone, could lose against someone who can't even beat Dooku (Obi) and someone who is blinded by is hatred (Ani). I love Evan videos, but his verdicts are sometimes not logical.

      Of course theres issues trying to scale game mechanics but the mechanics of "the game was made winnable" is hardly any different than "a story was written where the good guy wins".

    On the subject of the Lord of Hate (Tulak Hord) one of my favorites, I would like to reiterate something I have said multiple times in the past in response to Star Wars videos. One thing to note with the old republic period in general. You had so many more sith lords than you had during other periods. What this means is that, 1. people needed to prove themselves to be something and 2. people had to deal with other potential usurpers. so added strife. whoever came on top had to literally claw their way through. So when we say Lord Ragnos ruled for 100 years, that says a heck of a lot. Dont think he was loved which is why he was allowed to reign. While he may been manipulative, dont take the ancient sith to be stupid. they feared ragnos and that is the million dollar point. while sorcery and alchemy may be arcane, they are key aspects of what make a sith. he was known as the golden sith, the golden standard for all purposes. that's a point to remember. when exar and ulic are anointed, one question that comes up is why does it have to be marka. why not anyone else for that matter. the reason for this is because ragnos is the gold standard by which everyone is measured and being anointed by him was like getting a golden seal of approval. comparing him to the likes of maul, savage oppress, qui-gon, kyle katarn or even obi wan is honestly insulting. do the math people. qui-gon lost to maul who was not a dark lord (at best an acolyte, a wannabe, a cub. That doesnt speak volumes about him. Obi wan is man handled by dooku during every single encounter. Remember Dooku is only the disciple not the master. Should ideally tell you something. You're not talking about yet another master but THE master. In short, dont underestimate the dark side of the force. A poor choice it would be. Let me ask you this. Would you want to be called the greatest when there are only two people around or would you want to be called the greatest amongst a million.Guys like Vader, maul etc (not sidious because he's a class apart) have the luxury of not having to constantly contend with people waiting to destroy them and usurp their place. So ask yourself, who is great. Now I am hoping Traya's comments make greater sense. In short, the ancient sith were the type of people you prayed never to meet as these are not guys you want to face on your best day.Apologies for the long post. A topic close to my heart.

      My thoughts exactly. People place for example Maul in top 10 Sith videos, alongside with Nihilus, or Tulak (my favorite as well), Vitiate... just completely out of touch.

    • @lord_nemesis7876

      You guys realize that vader had to fight to keep his position right, sidious was looking for replacements and there were those who did try and kill vader. Darth Vader had to put in the effort to not be discarded by sidious and as for Darth maul, he was a serious investment unlike count dooku who was a means to an end. Darth maul was trained from an early age(A kid) by Darth sidious, being tested and sent in a various of missions to test him or to see if he would survive. Yes the ancient sith were quite powerful since they had to compete with so many other competitors but that was also a weakness and which lead to revan opening his thoughts on the matter on how several weaker sith could kill a stronger sith to gain power and lead Darth bane to his creation Rule of two which in itself was also brutal since if you were the master you had to make sure to be two steps ahead of your appearance and make sure you were the stronger one or you were killed by said appearance and if you were the appearance you had to keep gaining power and strength to be worthy of your master so they didn't kill and discard you. I understand what your saying but it doesn't mean that it's 100% correct as seeing the strongest sith lord to be made was so from the rule of two. So both have valid points but the rule of two was to keep the sith in control and not disorganised and they have been in the past which have lead to their defeats.

      Except for the fact that Vader consistently had to prove himself against other contenders. Some even being close in power like Inquisitor Jerec or Galen Marek (Marek was only a threat to early Vader, before his peak). The thing is, most Rule of Two Sith served as the peak of the Order. They were the most powerful, the most diverse in terms of skillset (they had to be), and usually the most intelligent. They had their flaws, as each version of the Sith and Jedi had their flaws. But, these flaws are not as bad as their prior generations . . . *cough* Ancient Sith *cough*
      As for how I rank the top Sith, it goes:
      1. Sidious/Darth Krayt: Sidious has a more diverse skillset and Krayt had a more combat-oriented one . . . I flip flop on which is better.
      2. Lord Vitiate: He was a fantastic sorcerer, and he had variety to boot. But, he had little skill in combat due to his lacking a true equal in his era. So, he is the Homelander to Sidious or Krayt's Superman in this analogy.
      3. Darth Caedus: He was extremely powerful, highly varied in his martial and Force-based skillsets, as well as having the advantage of being taught by both the most powerful Jedi ever (Luke Skywalker) and the best masters of his era, as well as an all-time great Sith in Lady Lumiya. He is insanely ridiculous when compared to even other Sith greats.
      4. Darth Vader: While Vader may lack the ability to use the greatest powers that the Dark Side has to offer, he was certainly not lacking in terms of potency or versatility in the practical areas of: telekinesis, telepathy, Tutaminis (at least able to absorb or deflect lightning of Galen Marek's level), limited energy-based powers like Kinetite, and others. He also does possess a knowledge of Sith sorcery and magics, as he did transform an archaeologist into a Rakghoul while holding a Sith artifact. He is also one of the most accomplished lightsaber duelists of all time, which helps his legacy.
      5. Darth Malgus: He is the proto-Vader. He has a very high degree level of mastery over the lightsaber forms that his style resembles, as well as well-developed mastery over the Dark Side of the Force. I just don't think he would beat Vader due to the same reason he lost to Satele Shan. Tactical tunnel vision. He would hone in on Vader, get in over his head, and then get pummeled by that loose steel beam that he didn't notice, or that leftover freighter on the docking bay.
      6. Darth Bane: He has very high levels of skill and power, but is held back by his lack of actual experience. The level of mastery he acquired through just training is astronomical, however.
      7. Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus: He had a very high level of mastery in saber combat (credited as one of the best swordsmen in the Jedi's history) and the Force. He knew fencing through-and-through, and has a much knowledge of the Force as he was powerful in it. He had a broad, yet somehow focused and lethal skillset that made him a Dark Lord to be feared. He is consistently named as a direct equal to Mace Windu, and only outdone by Sidious and Yoda. One being the second most powerful Jedi Grandmaster of all time, and the other being the most powerful Sith of all time. Which is nothing to sneeze at. In any other era, Dooku would have been a serious contender for Dark Lord of the Sith, if not the top of the food chain.
      8. Darth Revan: He needs little elaboration. He was pretty powerful. Not more so than the ones above him, but still potent. His saber skills and Force abilities being too broad and unrefined for his level. His intellect and strategic and tactical sensibilities greatly compensated for this.
      9. Darth Malak: He is very underrated, and was the brawn to Revan's brain. He was credited by Drew Karpyshyn (lead writer on KOTOR) as being the superior lightsaber duelist, as he focused more on it. He was also a highly competent combative Force wielder. Not overwhelmingly diverse, but diverse enough. And possessing both common and more esoteric powers to improve his viability. He was also intelligent and was still a pretty competent strategist and tactician when it came to general combat and dueling. His most compelling cases being his first response to meeting Revan aboard the Leviathan, and his last stand on the Star Forge.
      10. Exar Kun: He was a natual talen who took all the shortcuts. Despite that, his skill is still highly developed, and his mastery of his saber technique, the Force, and sorcery are all at the level of those above him, without the developed skill and power to actually overtake them. He is also just a massive glass cannon. He can dish it out, but can not take it. Not even a bit.
      Honorable Mentions include: Darth Traya, Lady Lumiya, several Lost Tribe of the Sith members, Naga Sadow, Ludo Kressh, Ulic Qel-Droma, Darth Zannah, Darth Wyyrlock III, and Karness Muur.

    I'm not sure if Ragnos necessarily underestimated Jaden Korr. He may have dismissed him as a mere Jedi child, but that might have actually been psychological warfare- if someone just cut through and destroyed your entire temple and is about to destroy you, and if you have the choice of fight or die, perhaps Ragnos was just trying to intimidate Korr as psychological warfare; kindof like in the Avengers movie when Loki is running scared sh*tless from the Hulk only to turn around and rant about how he, Loki, is a god, while the Hulk is just a dull, simple creature and he's totally not scared of him- it's a desperation tactic, hoping to win by scaring your enemy because that's really your only hope. Probably worked much better on Korr than it did on the Hulk, but it doesn't mean that Ragnos was not actually taking Jaden seriously.
    Marka Ragnos: "Bow before me, you puny mortal child! (oh god oh god oh god- I'm fighting Jedi Rambo and I'm gonna die!)"

    I would like to see more analyzation of Nihilus, i feel like we have a very skewed vision of his power with the exile having hax and we have no idea what force users are capable of resisting drain because imo i don't think there are force users that could immune themselves from nihilus' drain but there could be some that could resist the drain for a limited amount of time.

    • @christiandauz3742

      Bane, Palpatine, Vader, Anakin and MAYBE Obi-Wan would NO SELL his Force Drain and then engage him in melee and most likely win

    • @Mr-Tibbster
      @Mr-Tibbster 7 років тому +15

      People misunderstand Nihilus and compare his drain to the force power "Force drain". It's not the same thing. Most people can't seem to wrap their head around the concept of "what" Nihilus is.
      His drain "cannot" be blocked, it cannot be resisted for any amount of time, even by people who can resist force drain, because to resist force drain, you have to use the force to do it. The Force power of Force drain saps the Force energy from within a person and fuels the caster, however some Jedi can block this power by means of a Force shield or other resisting power, to stop the force drain from entering them .
      However, when it comes to Nihilus, he does not use this type of Force drain that can be blocked. He drains "everything", life it's self, any use of the Force what so ever. So if a Jedi used a power to resist his drain, Nihilus would "drain" that very power the Jedi is using to resist his drain. Nothing can stop it. If you are connected to the Force (which is every life form) he will drain you. If you use the Force in "any way" even in an attempt to resist his drains, he will feed off of that Force in it's self. The more you use the Force to resist him, the more powerful he becomes for it and you end up dying "even faster" as through using the Force to resist him, you are making his draining even more powerful because you are giving him even more to feed off of. And if you don't use the Force to resist him, you're still dead, because either way he still drains your life away.
      If it wasn't for the exile, the galaxy would of died. The exile was not connected to the Force, but was a hole in the Force, just like Nihilus was. He couldn't drain the exile, and thus became vulnerable to her in combat.The exile was capable of living without the Force. That's why Kreia needed the exile. As she said "there were no others capable, no others who gave up the Force and were able to live."
      In essence it's like using a droid to fight Nihilus, that would of worked too, because they are machines that live without the force, but no droid was strong enough to take him on in combat. The exile was the only option, else Kriea would of done it herself as she was more powerful than both Sion and Nihilus in every other way. But she had no way of resisting the drain, just like every other life form in the galaxy. The exile was unique in this area. Kriea sending the exile to kill him, was using his own medicine against him, as his only weapon, draining, didn't work on someone who was already "dead to the Force".
      It's why Kreia said to the exile that Revan loved machines and things dead to the Force, and would of loved her in the same way.

    • @Enginskywalks
      @Enginskywalks 7 років тому +9

      The EccentricM Makes a completely valid point, to sum it up quickly, nihilus is a literal black hole, and only someone with the proper pre requisites could fight him, however i would like to see how he could compare to force powerhouses like Luke, SIdeous and or Abeloth

    • @Mr-Tibbster
      @Mr-Tibbster 7 років тому +2

      I'd assume he'd eat them alive. The more powerful you are, the more he will feed off of you, and quicker. The more Force a Jedi has, the more food for Nihilus.

    • @revan1519
      @revan1519 7 років тому +11

      Nihilus is actually underrated as hell.People say without his force drain he is nothing,but thats not true
      Nihilus using the force pulled and moved a fleet of star destroyer sized ships from the extreme gravity generator on Malachor V.That is one of the greatest Telekinesis feats in SW,he is easily top 5 if not top 3 Sith.He could just instantly kill people using his drain or rip them apart using his TK.The exile and her friends were lucky that Nihilus was immensly weakened.Because even without his drain he could have destroyed them all using Telekinesis had he been at full power.Comparing Traya to Nihilus is stupid,Nihilus is by far the most powerful character in KOTOR 2.He outclasses Kreia in almost every category

    I feel as though there's a misconception here, and that is that Ragnos was at his full power while he had possession of Tavion's body. This is, in fact, not true. Tavion is a low-potential Force wielder, and when a spirit enters a body, they have to rely upon the subject's power to fight.
    For example, Exar Kun was wreaking havoc while he had possession of Kyp Durron's body, but that's because Kyp Durron has potential rivalling Luke Skywalker himself.
    But we know, by accolades, that Marka is one of the most powerful Sith Lords in galactic history, which just corroborates my point.
    Anyway, the video was edited to near perfection. Well done.

      +Ki Adi Sandwich I agree with this assessment about his force power. On my power level chart, I said Ragnos is on par with Bane, Cade Skywalker, and GM Satelee Shan in terms of force power. Ragnos in that fight was at an extreme handicap.

      +Ki Adi Sandwich For Satele, her exact ranking was tricky because of her lack of feats indicating magnitude as a GM. Her wave which caused live burial occurred when she was a Jedi Knight and not as GM. We saw how much Malgus grew since that fight as seen in various sources so this should apply to a degree for Satele as well. The highest I put Ragnos numerically is 8 so Jaina Solo Fel and Darth Vader level.

    You should do Tulak Hord next, as I feel there is great controversy where he lies. Some say he is one of, if not the, greatest Sith to ever live due to the fact that he never lost a duel and did some impressive stuff with the force by word of mouth. Others say he wasn't all that, giving that the swordsman of that time, that he was facing, weren't all that, and that his feats would have been exaggerated over time by word of mouth. I'd like to know where you place him?

    The deal with Ragnos was quite simple and efficient, he adapted his combat style to the main threat.
    He knew of the jedi but never faced one and even if he did his entire life was spent fighting sith sorcerers.
    Thus if instead of the ancient sith era he had been born in anakin's era he would focus on being the best against modern jedi which would make him a force wielding general grievous.
    That makes his intelligence his greatest strength in my opinion.

    I believe that Marka Ragnos is criminaly underrated. If I were to rat e the top Sith in terms of a limear title, I would say that it would go Adas, Ragnos, Vitiate, and then Palpatine. In Ragnos'es favor, concider this... Vitiate waited until Ragnos was dead before making his move. Power hungry Sith like Naga Sadow and Ludow Kresh didn't challenge him. Few reigning Dark Lords of the Sith ever die of old age, and that says a lot about his power.

    Poor Poor Marka Ragnos. A truly excellent video +Evannova95 and I love the idea behind this series but for all the hype Ragnos had, man was I disappointed at least with how you ranked his force abilities. His Force power=Dooku and his application means he could contend but not beat any of the tier 1 force users, his dueling skills are pretty meh (but that was expected) and despite looking really fucking cool as a ghost, he isn't nearly as imposing as I thought he was. For frame of reference I saw Ragnos's accolades made me think his force power level on par with the likes of my 7's (Bane, Cade Skywalker, Satelle Shan, Darth Malak). But despite being given the bare min of info to work with, you gave a solid breakdown of Marka's abilities to the point he "could" be used in a versus video. For your next video in this series, I would like to make a request for Thon. His character sheet gives him a shit ton of powers to work with, hes a weapons master but if you look at his physique you question how the hell he could even wield a lightsaber, and he is considered to be equal/near equal to Yoda and Nomi Sunrider in force power. Keep up the great work and I'm sorry this comment got to be rather long.

  • @dazdavis7896
    @dazdavis7896 9 місяців тому +2

    Ragnos’ era had basically reverted back to their arcane ways. The entire reason the original Sith Lords were looked at as Gods was because of their physical mastery of the force and their technology. Such as their lightsabers. Ragnos’s era had reverted back to their arcane pre-Sith Order ways of Sith Magic & Alchemy. It’s very hard to gauge his martial category. But I’d say you did a good job of it even with that handicap.
    Also, no, the fights between the Jedi and the Original Sith after the hundred year darkness WAS NOT the last time Jedi & Sith had met in combat prior to the Great Hyperspace War. Roughly a thousand years later around 6,000BBY, Tulak Hord personally slew hundreds of Jedi himself at the Jedi sieges of Yn & Chabosh. There was a REASON he was seen as the greatest swordmaster in galactic history until the likes of Yoda & then Vader came along millennia later... When it says they “hadn’t met” or anything like that it’s just that NO Jedi were left ALIVE during said conflicts to report of their encounters. That’s it. They met in battle and furthered Sith knowledge in martial talent quite a few times. Even in larger scaled conflicts such as the sieges of Yn & Chabosh…. I mean how else is that the Sith of Vitiate’s empire had many great duelists versed in all 7 forms even just 20 years after the Great Hyperspace War??? Ragnos and his ilk didn’t NOT know about the physical side of the force; but like I said, they had just reverted back to their pre-Dark Jedi/pre-Sith Order arcane ways of Sith sorcery. That’s it. They didn’t feel like they NEEDED to be so versed in the physical side of the force because they didn’t think they were in any danger of being threatened. They didn’t think anything out there would be ABLE to threaten them.

    Good to preface it with the opinion statement, especially concerning Marka Ragnos. It's a true shame there isn't a lot more content on him, given if you gather what scattered data you can, it's alluded that he is among the top 5 if not nearly the strongest sith (sith, not strongest overall force user) to have ever existed. But at the same time, there are so so so few details on what powers he exactly held. We get hints, some stories. But given naga sadow could blow up sun's and move moons, and many other same timeline or further along sith idolized marka ragnos like the pinnacle, or viewed as an unbeatable rival (he died of old age, many other sith lords in the very same era wanted to defeat him but never could, remember, including those who could BLOW UP SUNS)
    So really going off what we do know, he's a mysteriously uber powerful force. Speculating however, I guess missing lore sections here or there, as well as forgetting about the comparisons made in lore to other sith lords that contend for strongest spot, he could be extremely downscaled for this opinion, but again, you said it was an opinion, and one that was trying to be fairly reasonable no less, so fair enough.
    Also don't forget, your power in the force can translate to altering your physical attributes to extremely beyond the norms so baseline "stats" don't matter so much (palpatine was uh.. an old man but he could extreme feats anyways with no sweat xD)
    However I was absolutely agree that all of that has nothing to do with martial prowess beyond physical capabilities. You can be the most powerful force user and get decked by a better saber wielder I'm sure.
    I'm fairly certain that Exar Kun could defeat ragnos with a saber, however that he also could have rolled Kun up like a ball of gum with the force and flicked him into nothing with an afterthought.
    At a certain point, saber and martial prowess simply means very little compared to power in the force. Your enemy could be the greatest duelist ever, but if you blow up the sun next the planet he's on, it really ceases to matter.

I greatly enjoyed the character, and I've never once seen any of the Council members make a video about him, which I'm kinda disappointed by. At the very most, I think GreyJedi91 and Jensaarai1 have both mentioned the character, or at least the series, when discussing something else. This is a guy who went toe-to-toe with Aurra Sing, defeated one of Vader's top Inquisitors, and even challenged Vader himself, and yet he gets almost no attention from the Star Wars community!

    I just want to point out, pain tolerance is different than resistance, claws and teeth are, in the area of damage anyways, equally effective against two clones of a person, one with higher pain tolerance and one with less. The real difference here is how they react and if the pain would kill them. I myself have extreme nerve damage along with thick skin, I literally cannot feel certain levels of pain. Fire still burns me, I react differently (in fact as someone who loves to cook, I burn myself accidentally regularly without knowing it is happening. at one point I had my right arm sitting in a fire and took 2nd degree burns before moving away, and not realizing it until the next day...that would be tolerance, not resistance. armor would be resistance, claws and teeth would be, depending on their own strength and durability, to little or no effect against armor. That is not pain tolerance, that would be resistance. Again using myself as an example, with my nerve damage literally preventing me from feeling pain, does not mean I can resist more damage, if you took a club to me it would take roughly the same force to break my bones as it would anyone else, the same with a blade breaking skin, or teeth and claws breaking skin.

      I think Darth Caedus would defeat Kylo Ren. Here's my vision of how they would meet, if they ever did:
      Caedus: Ben Solo. We meet at last.
      Kylo: Who are you?
      Caedus: I am you, Ben. Your future, your past, your much cooler alter ego.
      Kylo: No, that's not true! That's impossible!
      Caedus: Search your feelings, you know it to be true.
      Kylo: NOOOOOO!
      Caedus: Strike me down with all your hatred, and your journey towards the Dark Side will be complete!
      Kylo: Now why would I do that?
      Caedus: Kill me, destroy the girl, end the Jedi, and become what our grandfather Vader could not! But I know you can't! You will never be as iconic or as memorable as Lord Vader! You are not worthy to be a Sith, let alone a worthy heir to the Dark Lord! Go back home to our uncle Luke, and let me be the new villain of the Sequel Trilogy!
      Kylo: I have given everything I could to the Dark Side.
      Caedus: No, you haven't!
      Kylo: Apparently I can bring people back to life, so it turns out I'm cooler than you!
      Caedus: There is no death, there is only the Force. And if you don't turn to the Dark Side, young Solo, then you will die! (They fight. Caedus jumps) It's over, Kylo Ren! I have the high ground!
      Kylo: You underestimate my power!
      Caedus: Don't try it. (Kylo jumps, but Caedus kills him before he lands) It's over Disney! I am the new villain of the Sequel Trilogy, now and forever!
      Kathleen Kennedy: But there is no source material for...
      Caedus: (kills her) Any other dissidents?
      Disney: ALL HAIL LORD CAEDUS! ALL HAIL LORD CAEDUS! ALL HAIL LORD CAEDUS!

Another good character would be his son A’sharad Hett( as a Jedi, or at least until his defeat by Obi Wan.) because I view him as a character on par with Quinlan Vos and Rham Kota, a master swordsman and powerful with the force. Antares Draco or Wolf Sazen are also fun ideas. Maybe Aryn Leneer?

    Hey Evan huge fan do you think you could do something on arcarnn (valkorian/vitiate's son) because in the game he used yellow colored force lighting I know in your video we were never able to figure out if the different colors of force lightning mean anything but if the different colors truly mean nothing why would they even exist at all (other than just looking cool) I mean couldn't you in theory change the color at will if you were strong enough? Sorry to go on a tangent but I would really like to know

    Marka Ragnos might be the strongest Sith ever....
    Why ???? Because no one dares to overthrow him even at old age...Lower Sith lords historically unite their power to overthrow the Dark Lords but it didn't happen in Ragnos reign...

    I feel like this way too heavily relies on overly simplistic combat animations & mechanics of a very old video game. It's gone back to repeatedly as well over the course of the video. Looking at Revan in KOTOR vs SWTOR for instance you can see how there's vast differences in combat powers and abilities from game to game. What's more, much of the actual lore descriptions are negated and ignored while you instead take the aforementioned game as your preferred reference point instead. And it can't be discounted how vastly different the lore descriptions and that game's depiction of him are.

    When I clicked on the video I thought it said "12:43" and thought to myself "Awesome! Another quick video about Marka Ragnos before bed!" At around the 15 minute mark I realized it was running longer than I thought it should have. I don't know if I'm tired or drunk, but god DAMN I've got to pay more attention.

    Always thought he was a little underneath vitiate hard not to look at him like that or not give any ancient sith lord that kind of power

    Even if there is not much lore about Ragnos's power, he ruled the Sith empire for a ~hundred years. A dark lord will take control over the minds of his subjects, and enemies.. And as for his force powers, I think he would destroy almost anyone that would come against him with ease.

    As stated in several comments already, Tulak Hord should be the priority for another video of this type, if there is enough info on him for it to be possible. If not, I'd settle for one of these types of vids on either Lord Kaan or Karnas Murr.

    You do oversee that marka ragnos was never killed, all the other of the most powerful were betrayed where as marka ragnos never fell to another human beings

    Darth traya already say the the ancient sith lords were far more powerful than the revan era, in kotor 2 she also say nihiluis was approaching some of the ancient sith lords in raw force power, nihiluis was Astonish by the raw force energy coming out of freedon nadd Tombs she also say freedon nadd was more powerful and terrific than malak and revan ever were, that's why I believe exar kun would destroy malak and revan, since exar kun became far more powerful than nadd

    • @joshharris6525

      Even if she is right, more powerful doesn’t mean more combatively viable…..they might have greater power in the force but not focused on combative abilities

    • @alsimmonshellspawn6021
      @alsimmonshellspawn6021 Рік тому

      @joshharris6525 dude they used the force in a more combative way than the modern sith since they were at war at all the time, they also boost planets and stars, bane era sith can't boost stars and tank supernovas

    • @joshharris6525
      @joshharris6525 Рік тому +1

      @@alsimmonshellspawn6021 Again boosting stars and planets is good but it doesn’t mean they are the most combatively viable! Darth Bane admits Zannah is equal to him in power but when we look at their feats Bane is clearly more combatively viable than Zannah despite their equal power level
