Tom said in an interview last weekend that the ears and wigs are not part of the main staging. He said what they are bringing to Tel Aviv can be described as "Arctic Lion King". In a previous interview they did reference northern lights will be part of it.

You are literally the only person that didn't start laughing hysterically when they saw Tom's furry ears xD The staging is gonna include none of this madness, this was the official video and since they were on a budget and couldn't do extraordinary stuff they decided to just have fun with it and make it a meme. So no worries :) If this doesn't reach top 5 btw I'm gonna sue the entire continent of Europe. Every. Single. Person. A favorite and a perfect blending of pop and traditional with Fred’s (the bald guy) Sami heritage. Tom and Alexandra are not dressed as furries, but they’re dressed to represent the spirit animals in the single version of the song. This song is just great. This needs to be in the final. Norway’s had a pretty great streak of songs this decade (save for Rybak last year...) Staging...I don’t know what they’ll do for staging but it’ll be key to the stage show. Let’s go, Norway!

The bold man sang jojk. IT is traditional Sami way of singing. It is unique part of their ethnic culture. Sami lives on north Scandinavia on the land of Laponia. That's why you couldn't understand what he was singing.
Yes you are not the only one that is not a big fan on the video... Maxxy called it questionable and I made a reaction of it also saying that I am missing the whole nature aspect in it because in some parts you can really see it has been recorded in a studio. Someone from Norway explained me that the video was rushed and they didn't have a big budget... I don't know if this is true but this could be a reason... Wellcome to the late 90's ! its nearly Aqua continuation pop song episode of their global pop hit "Barbie - girl" . well done Norway for your attempt to bring back tje 90's this one will pass to the fianls but that in itself would be a major achievement in itself this year , the combination of nearly 3 ypes of melody ( quiet one, popish one' and Scandineian one lacks a central cord to connect them all. Thank you Norway good luck and love from Israel:)

I have a five-way tie for 2nd place on my list, and this Keiino is part of it! The music video is pretty low-budget, but the NF performance is so good! I do worry that this is a song for the fans and that the public/juries won't go for it.
Eurodance + joiking= Eurovision realness! My favorite entry this year with Malta. I have to say the lyrics video and the live performance are way better than this. The song is still amazing with or without cheap wigs and funny ears.
How did you get the video, The bit where they are really frozen was due to them being near the Northern Lights part, And the wigs etc were part of Norwegian myths and legends, like the girl being a Spirit Fox etc

I thought this video was a reference to the “what does the Fox say” video by Ylvis. They are Norwegian too, so maybe not completely far fetched. Why they would choose to do that though is a different matter. But off course Ylvis are the funniest and most talented guys ever. Maybe that’s why.
Please don't judge from the video too much, the video isn't my favourite either. And they will not do this on stage, thankfully. They had a low budget, and a limited amount of time - that was an explanation for this type of video. I look forward to your reaction from the performance on stage in Tel Aviv! :D

Oh no, Jake, you watched the music video in stead of the live or the lyric video... It's the same deal as with Romania, the live is great with good staging and the MV is a total mess. So please don't judge the song or the potential performance based on the MV. (also, was anybody else waiting for Mr. Tumnus to jump out from somewhere and join the party?) The song itself is great, though. It's my third after Netherlands and Greece. It was even my winner for a while, before the other two came out.

Despite the Sami culture, still too generic to me. And sounds like "Monsters" (Finland, 2018). It will definitely be Top 10, but it wouldn't be in my personal Top 10.
