It is joik! A traditional sami chanting style. Indeed, he wears sami clothing. He is probably singing in the sami language of his region (sami people live across a huge area, geographically speaking, that crosses several countries): there are more than 11 sami languages, sadly some of them are extinct and others are about to.
I love how they're not weirded out by the traditional singing at all. Most people are really confused when that part comes up (me included the first time lol).

I'm salty they didn't win 2019 and that they ended up 2nd in MGP 2021 dispite having top 3 song. I'm pretty sure Norway would've been 2nd in the televotes just right after Måneskin.

I know, you couldn't tell them what Fred was singing, but did you tell them, that he was joiking(Sami language style)? Anyway I really like them too, like all the others you have had reacting. Cross my fingers for older songs, so they can experience that/those era(s) as well.
Joik is not a language, but an expression of emotion in chant.

I'm really lucky I'm the rock fan who just happened to watch the two contests where rock bands won ....I had a small part in the last ones victory and also Euphoria which I kinda liked plus the grannies.

Thanks for the video! also is important to say that during the Eurovision week the host cuty is full of activities about eurovision, you have eurovillage, europarties, exhibitions ecc so if you cant find a ticket for any show, you also can have a great time! well at least. until 2019 , this year I guess was kinda different.

Yeah I feel it's gonna be Sweden, Norway or Finland next if it's a really emotional song, because Denmark mostly sends more uplifting/uptempo, kinda fun songs or song where you feel they mean what they sing, but not (quite) to the point, where you are gonna cry.(at least for me) Btw Undo is 2014.

@@occono3543 I never said anything like that. Not at all. But Keiino are 2019 televote winners and had a very popular song this year. Most ESC fans know their names. He is very short on details. It doesn't look good when a channel is based on you being a superfan, and a lot of the time when his guests ask questions, he can't answer.
