I watch Michelle O’Malley (I think that’s how her name is spelled) too. She mentioned a word for 2023. Mine is motivated. I remind myself daily and it’s helping. We have a change coming. My 16 year old is going from traditional school to online. He’s been struggling for 2 years now and can’t seem to get past his freshman year. I’ve done all I can with the high school. I’m to the point I can’t stand the high school anymore. I just have to get one more paper from the school and get it scanned in. Then we can get him into some classes and I can finally get him out of the high school. We are all excited. I have four kids too. My oldest is 19. Then the 16 year old, almost 11 (his birthday is January 16th) and a 9 year old.

I was watching Katie and she asked what our word for 2023 was I didn’t think about it till she asked But I thought about it and my word is simplicity I want to simplify our life I don’t want to overbuy anymore - that goes for decor, food/snacks, clothing & all that I went to declutter and donate/toss it all I’m slowly going through all our closets, cabinets & drawers !! So far I’ve down two kitchen cabinets, our laundry room and our bathroom drawers !! Progress !! Not done yet, but getting there 🎉

🥑 I have to put the avocado there because this old dog learned how to make really !! good guacamole from my daughter. The warden even tried and liked it…..he has never ever had it before. So, now I have to figure out how to keep cilantro fresh in the fridge. Word of the year… haven’t really thought about it ( at my age, word of the day might be better) but the first words that came to mind is peaceful and survive. Looking forward to seeing the office area make over. Good video as always.

I have been quite sick I've been in the hospital, I'm still battling some not sure what's going on we know it's not the flu or nothing like that this is something totally different. My little Abby sure is very active now Carter's following right behind her I can't get over how big they're getting. Looking forward to finding out what the good news is going to be that you're going to share. Last year my word was stay, this year my word is pressing on. We have been battling the stomach bug All 3 kids got it and are fine now I’ve had it a wk - on and off & dealing w remnants from it :( But I’m glad it’s me sick & not them But I feel very drained and tired

Happy New Years to you and your family. I get trying to declutter the house. It is me, my mom, and my daughter but we have so much stuff! My older kids come visit and they leave their room like a tornado 🌪️ went through it. I have plans to redo their room, today I am cleaning out my garage which is a disaster! We plan on putting in tile flooring so I need to clean the garage so we can put furniture in there when they do it. ❤️❤️❤️

I don’t set resolutions but my goals are to try to maintain stress, not procrastinate as much, and to learn to enjoy life as it happens, my anxiety makes it hard to live in the moment so that’s what I’m working on. Glad you’re back safe from Texas, I hope this crazy weather isn’t too bad for you. I’m in central/southern Cali so we haven’t had extreme weather like some other spots. Can’t wait to see what’s next for you!

I've missed you! Happy New Year!! I was able to celebrate Christmas with my cousins for the first time since 2020 which was nice. It was great to see them. My goals this year are centered around financial health as I am heading into retirement. It's time to firm up my spending. I'm also continuing to declutter, mostly by using the yarn I have accumulated over the years. Along those lines my word for the year is FRUGAL. 🐢

This little voice told me Several times to Put a Box to Cover it But I *Procrastinated* It Only takes a 1 1/2 minute to take off the Calculated Converter If you have a Box Covering it It Will Take them about 10 mins. The Day Before New Years Eve at 5am I heard a Buzz Buzz Buzz Buzzz I Looked out my window seen a car parked next to my car
I went outside & Yelled *Get Out Of Here* they Jumped into there car & Sped off
I waited Till daylight
They Looked Underneath & Told me they Took my Catalytic Converter
I cried for 2 days cuz I Knew it was going to Cost a fortune to replace & insurance Won't pay
But
Here's the Thing
I was in Ga. Tenn. Cincinnati & Texas Then here in So. Calif.
This little voice told me Several times to Put a Box to Cover it
But I *Procrastinated*
It Only takes a 1 1/2 minute to take off the Calculated Converter
If you have a Box Covering it
It Will Take them about 10 mins. To Cut Through the Box Then Cut the Calculated Converter
99% they Will Leave & Go On to the Next Car
It Really Doesn't matter where you Live Its Happening All Over
