They really should redo the American version of Top Gear with Tim Allen, Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld. It seems like they'd be pretty ridiculous together and a hell of a lot better than that current unoriginal mess.

Tim brought that `70 -1/2 Falcon to Bobs in Burbank on night. It's a very rare machine. It had a CJ motor, ribbon tach, etc, but oddly had Cobra badges too, even though it was a Falcon.
What a great collection. Tim Allen is definitely a true automotive enthusiast. Not too many of those in Hollywood. He seems like a nice guy too. Guess he's not as used to being in the public's eye any more. Doesn't seem as open as he was in the Home Improvement days.
LOVING that 1971 Torino/Fairlane Cobra (Formal Roof) Tim... On of not many built and sold! My ERA, raised with late 60's early 70's Muscle cars especially Fords ';-) Thanks for the peak into your collection

ah ... quick pickle on my part, but I'll let the like stay! Glommed-onto "impala" and missed you meant the later model LOL I'm finishing a frame-off resto of my 1961.
Not the exact year, but I love seeing the last of the B-Bodies in his garage! I drive a 94 Caprice, which I put a 383 into it.. Such a beautiful machine, and very powerful. These things for their weight and size, handle rather well.
Hahaha. The Home Improvement car is a 46 Ford Convertible with a Ford Flathead V8. The info on screen is incorrect, they say it's a 33 Ford roadster with a Chevy 350 V8. The first hotrod on Home Improvement was the 33. But they finished it and on the show they end up selling it to Jay Leno. When Jay refuses to sell it back they buy the 46 off Jay as another project car to build.
I was waiting to see his 1956 Ford F100. That year is the most loved F100, wrap around front windshield, 12 volt, ''real'' truck. Foose has one specially hot-rodded. I like the original. I had one for many years, still my favourite.
@@chrissmith2921 To me, Tim Allen is one of the funniest people in the world. I loved his "Men Are Pigs" stand up. Now that I know he owns a '62 Chevy Impala 409 4speed just amps my respect for him. He is a car guy down to his soul.
The switchgear he is standing by @1:09 and on, is in itself impressive. That is industrial duty stuff. He's got something that uses tremendous electrical power.
I'm surprised he still has the Impala. I remember seeing it in some Muscle Car magazine back in 96. It had a mini-bar in the back. I think I still have the Mag back home somewhere. Nice ride.
That was my first car, the hardtop SS model which I think is the better looking car, but the "bubble top" model that Jay has was a bit lighter and was popular for drag racing.
God bless Tim Allen one of the few people in Hollywood that has a brain his show Last Man Standing was cancelled because of his political views even though it was close to number 1 on the charts

Tim Allen is one of a very few number of celebs I'd like to meet. He seems so down to earth with a great personality and sense of humor.
And has a good connect..
He is down to earth he hates liberals
