honestly good video, doing a big brake upgrade to the front and have a rear disc conversion already was wondering with the extra stopping power upfront if the rear drum prop valve thats installed in the vehicle will need the rear disc version i have laying around time will tell..
They originally came out of an early evo I believe. They are bride rails but tabs modified to suit corolla. They didn’t slide well at all and were very heavy. I’ve since removed them. You could use bride ae111 rails though, same as ae112
Bro help me out here. I just did this conversion to an AE101. We bled the crap out of it and the pedal is still soft. The part number for the proportioning valve is the same so I've been reading online that that's not the issue. Apparently I'm supposed to be using a master cylinder with a 7/8 bore instead of the 13/16 my disc/drum combo came with? is that right? If so what's the part number on that?
Hi mate changing to the larger 7/8 master cylinder would make sense. Sorry I’m not sure what the part number would be, but try and find an ae101 at the wreckers that came with rear disc brakes and take the master cylinder and wouldn’t hurt to take the booster too.
@@spinksy9 Thanks man. I'm swapping a booster and master assembly from a corona. It's gonna go on tomorrow morning. I'll leave a little update on how it goes if anyone else is digging through threads looking for answers.
