Ive had Clever as my top artist for 6 years in a row...and his newest stuff is some of the most beautiful music ever made. Your Halo Never Falls is going to be me and my wife's song we walk down the aisle to. Her favorite is Candlelight. My favorite is pretty much every song you have ever made. You remind me of Kevin Gates, not musically, but the fact that i have never heard a bad song from him, and i have yet to hear something i dont like from you. This interview just made me admire and appreciate you so much more. Do you do Cameo? Or do you accept commisioned songs? Please let me know man.
@@brettkelly5894 Checked it out, dope song 💯 I always tell my mom if I get to the age where my body starts to turn on me I’ll just ghost ride a Harley off a cliff 😂😂😂😂😂😂 and she gets pissed at me
Clevers music has given me inspiration in so many ways. I haven’t even watched this yet and I’m just happy this exists. I’ve wanted a good sit down clever interview like this for years now and I can already tell from the preview I saw that this will be his best one. Keep going CL!

please GUYS RUN THIS COMMENT UP!!!! Clever has to see this!!! This right here is what makes many artists keep going, knowing that people really, truly & deeply care about, cherish and love their art & all the work they put in to create amazing music. To see that what you do & how what you created touches people & can really influence their lives & accompany them through it is an amazing feeling and especially here seeing how your music can bring a couple even closer together & mean so much to them is incredibly inspiring & a unique experience. I truly hope Clever sees this & can maybe chime in on youre guys’ journey on a more direct & individual note because the fact that y‘all admire this mans music so much & that it means so much to the both of you & somewhat brings you even closer together is so beautiful; and I can‘t even imagine how much it would mean to y‘all if he acknowledged that & noticed your story ❤️
I wish clever would do more podcasts and be more open on honest and just own his past .. as people get to seee he's a real guy and one of us his star will grow so much bigger
This interview is great! His voice is just so soothing to listen too, he should do his own podcast, with music and just talking about anything. Being from the south myself I can relate to a a few things
Great interview, insightful questioning. Clever’s music is original with strong lyrics that people can resonate with. Stay true to your heart dedicating your life to creativity. Can’t wait to hear more.
I would say out of the million of interviews I've spent my time of watching and reallly feeling and understanding the artist. This was so on time ! I wanted to know who I was putting so much time into feeling his music. Great Southern Man from the Dirty doing life and thank God for his survival so we can enjoy his work .
Just heard TRAINWRECK last night,, never heard of him before..and had to look into him... don't judge a book by the cover is right! very soft spoken and funny! and a really great writer,, great musicality.. visually he reminds me of Ashton Kutcher, ( the eyes) and Jim Morrison.. and my high school boyfriend! haha,, he is so attractive! love his personality little mischievous, playful.. I love his voice his genuine emotions are very evident... no trained boring voice,, he is an indie artist.. you cannot BOX this man in.. I hear trainwreck at 3am in bed i phone to me ear.. and I got shivers.,, I sure am a fan now.. Blessings to you Josh~
Have you heard Clever with, "JamWayne's" Red Clay... I'm a, JamWayne fan & this song Red Clay was the first time I heard Clever. Which is amazing. Now I'm hooked on 🪶🎶💯 Clever's spirit.
Nice podcast, it's good to hear about the history & background of Clever, hope his journey in the musical industry soars to the sky, as an artist keep doing what you love. Cowboy killer is still one my favorite song.
I’ve become a huge fan of Clever. I grew up around Muscle Shoals Al which i assume is where he’s from. I expected to hear this side ways country talking dude but am blown away with the amount of intelligence and so we’ll spoken dude. Rock on bro! Love your music!

Been listing to @clever for a long time , did a deep dive and didn’t realize how long he’s been making music first I could find is 05 a song with liquid G called in the rain man how he’s changes musically but you can still see some of it
That’s what i was wondering. He said he’s from Alabama too. I just looked it up though and Yelawolfs dj spells it Klever. Weird 2 of them from the same place.
I’ve heard of this guy a lot, I wonder who blackballed him was it NLE? Multi talented singer, rapper producer he should be up there with the greats by now
I'd love to go all in, I believe in myself and the gifts God has given me with my voice and writing skills, I'm the sole provider for my kids and have been battling hackers tampering with my recording software, cameras, lyric files, etc. for years, making it so difficult, it isn't right. And the battle inside me about giving up the stability of what I've worked hard for to pursue my heart's desire when my kids depend on me alone, especially with all the setups, obstacles, roadblocks...I still believe, regardless if no one supports me but I struggle to let go of the stability of where I've stood for so long...
Ian.... why did you spend almost the entire time talking about his criminal past and records? why not ask a WRITER about what inspires them to write this song or that song..? more about his MUSIC and his faith and deep dive.. I had to leave the room 6 7 x because it was so irritating listening to you waste this mans time on his criminal past..? who cares..? sheesh

His voice is so soothing. Just an all around great guy. You can tell he’s learned a lot on top of his incredible talent. What an artist, wow.
"By My Side" with NLE Choppa is a banger. This dude has a powerful voice fr reminds of 70s rockers
That song hits when he says "shooty never scared when she sicks by my side"
His hook is my daily anthem
Agreed 👍🏻
"You either die on that mountain or you become the guide of that mountain."
Such a great way to look at the hardships of life.
His demeanor and energy reminds me alot of Johnny Depp. Probably a strange comment but it’s a compliment from my prospective.

Yep and Ian Bick should be on Netflix by now
And kamala should be on Prozac by now
He popped up in exactly the right era as well. Makes you wonder. He does genuinely seem like someone who wouldn’t ever sell out for anything
Probably wasn't blackballed. Most likely would sell his soul to the devil
