I’m sad to hear the how much smaller new Japan pro wrestling is, anytime Japanese pro wrestling was mention in the USA back in the day there was such a mystique and aura about it
LOL, you do realize that WCW and New Japan had a working agreement while Bankrupt Bischoff was still dwelling in the AWA right? It was actually Jim Herd who signed up on that working agreement in 1990, leading to the Japan Supershow at the Tokyo Dome in February 1991.
That's how you can tell Conrad doesn't have the knowledge of the wrestling industry like he thinks he does. Pro Wrestling NOAH and NJPW are two different companies😂😂😂 Noah is owned by CyberFight and NJPW is owned by Bushiroad. Bischoff should hire me to be the host, cause at least I do research 😂
You were not one the train to see the ads and marketing. NJPW's presentation for the first week of 2024 was bad this years compared to the last two years in Tokyo. @@fawkesclub2590
No, WWE wanted to work with Stardom but their parent company Bushiroad chose AEW instead, which is why Mina Shirakawa has been making so many appearances. WWE is working with Marigold instead, and is sending Iyo Sky to wrestle there next month. EDIT just realized this comment is 5 months old. Haha, sorry 😂
A few hundred thousand is all you need to have a viable, successful business. They still sell more tickets in the US than TNA, NWA, GCW and MLW combined.
It is just "sad" that the #njpw/#WCW partnership ended when during towards #WCW's end but #aew x #njpw is starting to be a "loophole forbidden door" so we are hopeful of #WWE x #njpw & #WWE x #STARDOM in the future!
Hey eric love hearing your thoughts about the industry all the time!! Great stuff!

Thank you Eric for making the New Japan alliance, that exposed me to international wrestling. I really loved that period of time in WCW pre Hogan

@@ShadowAngel18606 Dear Snarky wrestling fan, I don’t care.
@@bluntamainia444 Obviously you do or otherwise you wouldn't have replied
Oh and i'm not just a fan, i was a wrestler myself :)
@@ShadowAngel18606 Wow, still don’t care
Man its weird to think about how that partnership between wcw and njpw exposed me to Muta and Jushin thunder liger
5:39 Shinsuke did not go to NJPW to wrestle Muta, you whale

Last night on the train in Tokyo, I saw the advertisement for NJPW’s Big show after the new year. It looked terrible. No big star power perceived.
Who talks like this ?
No big star power perceived lol
NJPW is loaded with talent
I'm sure it will be a fun event regardless of who they have booked
@@fawkesclub2590 hahahhahahahahahahaha
@@fawkesclub2590Thanks for giving examples of these supposed stars. Outside of the AEW people anyways.😂

I haven't watched in a while, what happened to Conrad's room? Where are all the belts and memorabilia?
Click on video. Skip 1min to get to Eric's answer.

Conrad is such a waffler
@@N.U.R_Music I think Conrad’s opening statement about Turner’s global focus was interesting personally.
6:05 WWE is working with AJPW. They're interested in working with Stardom and Stardom is open to it. The NJPW bosses are open to working with WWE
Which bosses in NJPW and you really think they would let their talent get buried by Stamford amigo?😏

“WWE’s been a good citizen to New Japan, they let Shinsuke have some fun not too long ago”
That was Noah
That’s why the cruiserweight division slowly saw less foreign talents!!!!!!!!
I think aew does it because the young bucks and kenny where all in njpw why they where able to do so
Why didn’t they just say illegal object? International is a little on the nose lol
No one outside of a few hundred thousand marks and Japanese people give two fucks about NJPW
Surprising too, because of how many dopey weebs there are now... youd think if it was good they would watch it too.
@N.U.R_Music you sound like mark yourself with that idiotic ranting you made amigo.🤣

AEW and NJPW ain't working, AEW stealing all NJPW roster. WCW and NJPW was the best Japanese partnership
Stardom??? It draws 100 people crowds, no one cares about it, same as njpw or the worst sh*t Joshi.
