Video call is considered face to face too. By phone, instant Messenger or email you cannot see person's face, but in a video meetings you can

I think what you said at 6:24 is wrong, it's the product owner to prioritize the product backlog, but it's the team to prioritize the sprint backlog, they are not the same. answer B states team prioritize the sprint backlog, not product backlog, so it's also a correct answer, only not as correct as D because the question mentions the product owner was the issue.
same thought. team prioritizes sprint backlog but the question mentions po being an issue
Q 1. Can you explain why submitting a change request should not be the first step? Only if your request gets approved would you then start researching on appropriate training measures to ensure the best use of your time?
@Pranjal Gandhi, I encourage you to check out Page 115 from the PMBOK Guide 6th Edition, and Page 77 from the PMBOK Guide 7th Edition for the explanation regarding the Change Control Process and Change Requests - it provides a really great summary & explains that Change Requests should include information regarding the estimated impact to the schedule, cost, etc and must be approved before any additional steps are taken as a result of the Change Request). Hope that helps!
Excellent question and Excellent explanation. Even I got same question in my mind, and cleared now. :)
Last question was tricky.rest all I got right.can you help me how many questions and duration for pmp exam 2022
There are 180 questions, and you're given 230 minutes to complete the entire exam. Watch my video here where I go through this in more detail: ua-cam.com/video/ybfjxBHOYNU/v-deo.html
hey Alvin, I got 4 out of 5 right. the last one however, was tricky. I didn't quite understand though, how conducting face to face conversation with stakeholders across the country was possible, unless virtual face to face was implied? any clarification would be appreciated :)
@milner267, Nice work on this quiz! The last question is definitely tricky. In this scenario, the idea is that if possible when engaging teams, the best type of communication would be face-to-face over other types of methods. So, with teams found across the country, if there is any way to schedule communicationin a face-to-face manner showing your "face" whether it's in-person or through remote video conferencing (i.e. turning on your webcam during phone calls) so that your face is visible, then that would be the best communication method. I hope that helps clarify!
@@alvinthepmofficial Yes, this helps a lot. Thanks for the clarification. It really does come down to the mindset!
@@milner267 Awesome, keep up the great work, and good luck studying for your PMP Exam! Keep me posted with how everything goes
good video, really good content
Thank you Alvin, this was very informative. For the last question; I am slightly confused, since we have stakeholders across the country when we pick face-to-face conversation are we referring to video communication like a fishbowl?? Can you elaborate?
my understanding is that they are asking about BEST way, regardless of how you do it, face-to-face is the best. In reality yes, it will be zoom calls most likely
In 4th question i believe you should have option for avoid ..here he is avoiding the risk by taking contract...the risk is team members not knowing testing..this will not happen once the contract is done.. transfer would case where the risk still exists but is transferred to third party..
4 out of 5
In Q-5 thy told there are 20stakeholders placed globally so I chosed instant messaging as an option
F2F communication is best option straight forward but I got confused with the scenario in the question
@Naveen Vikram, nice work on the quiz! The PMP Exam will have tricky questions where you'll have to be careful on the words in the question, so just be on the lookout! Keep up the great work and you'll pass your PMP Exam soon!
Same this tricked me too uugh :-)
@@rekarobinson2893 I'm really glad that you're finding the videos helpful! Definitely be on the lookout for "tricky or vague wording" on the situational-based questions you'll encounter on your PMP Exam! Make sure you read the question carefully and be sure to pick the answer which is the best sounding which directly solves the question being asked. Good luck with studying for your PMP Exam!
Tricked me too, as I assumed phone was best to accommodate the people in other locations.
@@robhindle8735 Good luck with your PMP Exam, feel free to let me know if you have any questions, and I wish you the best with preparing for your upcoming PMP Exam!
Alvin, in fifth question how face to face conversation is correct answer, because stakeholders belongs to across the country.
I don't agree with the last question 9n best communication method. They explicitly stated that stakeholders are located globally. They also don't state percentages of local/vs global . It's not realistic to assume you can hold face to face meetings with all these folks. Best method of communication would be Phone call (aka Teams or Zoom)
Maybe the virtual meeting is considersd face to face, since you can see the individuals in the meetings. Is that possible? -Also the first sentence was used to confuse you, you only need to focus on the actual question, which his what is the best way to communicate. Consider body language as communication, you can't get that on the phone.
@@Ashley08888 Thanks for the feedback Ashley, you are correct! This question is definitely tricky and my goal is to help everyone be careful of the wording whenever you're reading a question. From my own experience taking the PMP Exam, I encountered tricky questions which had vague confusing wording for situational-based questions. Don't just rush through the question, but as you mentioned, you will really need to focus on what EXACTLY the question is saying. Hope that makes sense! Good luck studying for your PMP Exam!
@@alvinthepmofficial thank you, Alvin! Your videos are very helpful and much needed!
@@alvinthepmofficial I will say this is a problem I have with tests like this. Using intentionally confusing language doesn't test knowledge. I've never once heard someone call video calls or virtual meetings face to face meetings and you could just as easily make the argument they are talking about face to face which would have higher engagement but would be unattainable because of geography.
I agree with you. Another money grab.
Do I need to review both PMBOK 6th and 7th edition?
@JBS Vlog, I recommend having both the PMBOK 6th and 7th Edition as reference material for preparing for the PMP Exam, however it is not required. What I do recommend that you study is the Agile Practice Guide, as this will contain the majority of the Agile you need to know to pass your PMP Exam. Stay tuned for more future videos covering this!
4/5
Nice work Syed with this practice quiz! Keep it up, and you'll pass your PMP Exam soon!
Q5 they are found in the office and across the country how am I going to have a face to face conversation!!!
I got 4 of 5 right
@Michael T., Excellent work Michael!! Good luck studying for your PMP Exam!
Just days away and shaking in my boots. 🥾
@AGAPE AGAPE, good luck!! You can do this, and you will become a Certified PMP soon!
Can't agree with 5 ...face to face across country is quite impossible.
Thanks Suman for the feedback, this question was meant to trick you. From my own experience taking the PMP Exam, I encountered tricky questions which had vague confusing wording for situational-based questions, where you really need to focus on what EXACTLY the question is saying. This question is definitely tricky and my goal is to help everyone be careful of the wording whenever you're reading a question. When faced with situational-based questions, you only need to focus on what the "actual" question is asking you, which is what is the best way to communicate. Hope that makes sense! Good luck studying for your PMP Exam!
Are all PMP questions that easy in the exam?
Looks like Q2 needs correction
