Great advice. The ONLY thing I would add is something I learned while working for the Dept. of Correction. ALWAYS back into your parking spot so you can jump in the front and just start n go. Many people panic if something undesirable happens and are too flustered to "back" out. I'm heading across country for the third time this spring 2021 and will probably try this Walmart thing out! Thanks.
I used to work overnight at Walmart. We never had a problem with people parking overnight so long as they stayed out of the way of our trucks coming in and out to unload. In extreme weather the semi drivers knew our lot was a safe place to ride out the blizzard.
I'm waiting on Walmart putting a halt to parking due to inconsiderate people , I've seen people camped generators going basically being used as a camping ground to people dumping trash and bottles of urine thrown out of their vehicles .I wish people would just be considerate to others
Sadly it’s Walmart. Walmart is also a business, and we all should show respect & consideration to each other especially to those who work there. I stopped going there on Sunday bc people are mean lol 😂. I talked to a nice lady at the cashier, and she said a lady yelled & cussed at her bc the she couldn’t find bread lol. People behave! Inside or outside, Walmart for some reason attracts some interesting people
I work nights at a Wally ...ya we know who’s stealth camping...the crew knows everyone’s car..so a different car gets noticed. We don’t care at all. But we know.
Yep the employees know. Some are very nice about it and some make a lot of noise on purpose. They forget overnighted are customers and we do spend money.
I used to sleep in my car or truck in Albuquerque, NM while I was working construction jobs. Usually at certain Walmart parking lots. I did that to save money. I used to hv a 32 oz Gatorade bottle to pee in to keep stealthy. Then I would camp in my vehicle at casino parking lots. I been there and done that. No one bothered me not even security guards. I'm planning on doing it again to get back to work soon as my pendemic unemployment assistance is cut off..... I got to do what I got to do to survive.
I used to work security at a casino for 6 years. It's normal to see cars there overnight or even days at a time. We only ever looked to make sure no one is dead in the car. Otherwise we never had a reason to care.
I particularly favor the very dark, quiet, hidden corner type of spots (well sussed and chosen) have never really had a big problem. Always be set up so you can get fired up and drive straight off (no reversing out, etc) at a moment's notice.
Nice video. I also like staying at walmarts. Though, I preferred when they were 24/7 since they have security watching over the place. I think most have reduced hours now because of covid. Truck stops are good in a pinch. If you are out on the highway in the middle of nowhere you might not find a walmart super center but you will usually find a truck stop. I've also found that you can stay at about any large store if you just ask. I've stayed at Home Depot, Sams, walgreens, Lowes, and various other stores. The only place I've camped in residential type areas is on military bases. I'm retired military and can get on most installation. I pick a parking lot where lots of cars are going to be all night and just sleep there. I get my best sleep on military bases because it is pretty safe and quiet at night. Then in the morning I can go to the gym for free and take a shower.
@@noturningback2023 I stealth camp when I'm on the bases. I'm not sure how it would go over if you just parked an RV or something. I suspect they would run you off. That said, some bases have RV parking for a fee. Stealth parking though I've never even had close calls. I just park at billeting, dorms, tlf, etc, where they have plenty of open slots. Just keep the troops in mind and make sure you aren't taking any valuable/needed spots.
The best places to car camp are in the nice neighborhoods but you don’t tell anybody that you’re doing it, Just park on the street wherever you see cars, industrial areas where night factories are operating, but you gotta be discreet, usually when I’m car camping when I go to my spot I’m there for the night, I’m not going anywhere after that, I put a window shade in my front window, the kind they use to block out the sun or get some window coverings for the door windows like this guy has in this video, get a tempur pedic symphony pillow because when you’re car camping you need to stay as comfortable as possible, a good pillow will help with that. Imo car camping in out of the way places spaces is asking for trouble, car camp where there is ppl around, but you stay invisible in your car, p*ss in a plastic bottle.
@@TB12710 Agree. I always keep that in mind for if I can't find somewhere else to park. I've never had to resort to it though. Btw, the stealth parking lots I was talking about are on military bases. It's pretty common for people there to be parked out away from other vehicles at the locations I mentioned. Some because they want to protect their vehicle and some simply because when they parked there were a lot more cars but then the night or day shift left for work leaving theirs out there with just a few others.
You should be worried about the cops and somebody who owns the place that disturbed your truck life.most men aren't the problem...it's the store and the police that would bother you
Cabelas and bass pro offer free overnight parking. Some have dog runs with water, horse corral area and even dump stations for RVs. There is a lighted side and a dark side. You should try it.
*i used to do Walmart when it was 24 hrs. now i crash at truck stops like Loves, Pilot, Flying J, etc. i need a bathroom if i wake up in the middle of the night. then give them some business, like buyin beverages or snacks for using their lot overnight* *also, ive never had any issues sleeping a few hrs at the state run rest stops. almost always, you're not the only 1 sleepin in a car there, plus bathroom is always available*
hospitals are also pretty good i like to go anywhere that i can go inside of 24/7 without anyone asking questions why that has bathroom, water and AC edit Plus there are a bunch of other vehicles already there 24/7 so it doesn't raise any suspicion
Great tips! I agree on reflectix -- it advertises someone's in there. Black window coverings are better. And in a Prius you don't need the climate control from your window coverings, because your car will control you climate for pennies a night. I also like that you parked in one spot to shop and eat, and then moved to your overnight spot. I do that, too! Looking forward to the next video...
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks. Yeah, I actually haven't been using my climate control much this summer, but it's also really cool in the mountain region I've been in (in the 60's at night) but yeah the option is there if it gets too hot inside.
Thank you so much dude. I am going to start stealth camping in the Hampton Roads area (Virginia Beach, Norfolk) in a Tesla at the end of the month and your videos have been instrumental. I was really nervous to let go of my house and move into the car, but your videos are very reassuring and real.
Glad I could help! Tesla's are great because they're fully electric so there's no gas engine that kicks on at any time. do you plan on doing that for a long time or just temporarily?

good tips. however, once i am done with eating and ready to call it a night, i would drive upclose to the front where the night crew is working (if they do), so that you are truly blend in and not stand out too much all by yourself in the back. plus it would definitely be safer.
7:35 you say "lock the doors". Can't be understated, I was sleeping in a national forest along the Canasauga River last year and had someone try to open my driver door in the middle of the night. They left after two tries of the door handle thankfully. Never had that happen in a Walmart though lol.
A lot of the time when a Walmart has “no parking” signs everywhere, it’s really just for liability reasons. I’ve stayed in many parking lots like that. You have to be brave when it comes to this kind of situation.
I was a long haul truck driver back in the 1990' s - 2010 and Walmart would let us drivers sleep over night in their lots all over the US, so no big deal.
I have been in sketchy rest stops w trucks rolling in all night. I think I moved three times to feel somewhat safe, and a questionable inner city Walmart in AZ. Thank you so much for the info about where to go and what to look for! Love your beautiful girl! Heal well soon!
I'm shopping at Walmart right now and after watching this video I see several people that live in the parking lot. Last year there was a homeless person who actually pitched a large tent in one of those background spaces.
I totally agree with you on stay away from the rest area. There are people come to you and ask for the money. its noisy and not private for your resting
ive crashed several times at rsst stops, day & night. never been panhandled or approached (just my experience). people tend to leave u alone there. but i do prefer well lit truck stops, like Pilot Flying J or Loves or Petrol.
Two years in a class b RV at the same Walmart. They know I'm here and haven't said one word...2 years! They moved the car people out, buy maybe because I'm in an RV I was the only one allowed to stay. The Walmart has the auto shop, vet clinic, medical clinic with vision and dental. I stay in the van and walk my dog off property. 2 years and not one security issue. I'm EXTREMELY grateful that they let me stay. And yes, PD know I'm here.
I just finished converting my '98 Windstar Mini Van to stealth RV. From the outside it looks just like a van (except for the roof fan vent). Hospital parking lots are filled with cars coming and going 24 hours a day. The outer reaches are open at night where a small vehicle like mine blends in. There are many free campgrounds around here too. Better than paying $30 a night for state parks when a motel is only $50.
I rarely see motels for $50. After fees and taxes, I rarely can find a hotel for under $70 a night. Yea, I wouldnt feel comfortable in a hospital parking lot for that reason

Here in California I slept in my car for two years. When I wasn’t sleeping at the beach I would either be at target or Walmart parking lots. But I had to park amongst the employee vehicles as I was sleeping in the back as to not draw attention. Parking away by yourself here in California gets police to check on you whether there’s someone in the vehicle or not
I've used the home Depot parking lots also any motel that has its own road to a main road just outside their parking lots are good, The tractor trailers park along side the hotel okay for you as well
@@nightfangs2910 I keep forgetting that most of these VANlifers can't read, are poor or innately dumb. Professional drivers or those who "drive 18 wheelers" are WORKING Legitimately. Living in a car, parking on private property i.e. a business office park with the intent of breaking the law is illegal. Truckers are not subject to vagrancy laws because their vehicles have not been converted to a domicile. FIRST, in most states, sleeping in your car is ILLEGAL. You are on Google, do a quick search. Laws require that truckers limit the number of hours they drive and all trucking companies have special permission to park in certain areas, including city streets, businesses they service and park by permission.. That's why you see them parked on the side of the road on the interstate. Why do you think they are required to have. DOT number and all of those "other" little numbers on the side of their rigs?
I've called or gone into various grocery stores and asked permission to stay overnight in their parking lot and were told yes as long as I infromed the local PD's about staying in their towns grocery stores lot and have gotten permission to do so. I come from the UK we have car parks here that are similar to the Walmart parking lot you have there and i like the shrubberies and trees they have. The shrubs and trees can offer cover for when your stealth camping not only that there just nice to park by and look at.
I’ve tried this and got kicked out. A dr friend of mine later told me that ER lots aren’t great because people do shady things in them, like sell newly recieved prescription meds, etc.
Trees, isolation and barriers/rails can also hide desperate and wandering homeless/vagrants. An open air spot, far away but close to people and traffic can ward off undesirables. If it’s private and secluded, be sure you can protect yourself too! I lived 2 years in the same Walmart/Home Depot parking lot space - far away but near a road seldom traveled. It was also between two strip malls - a parking lot used for tractor trailers. Story was that it was once a business so it was pretty separated from WM and the other mall but centrally situated so “certain people” wouldn’t feel so comfortable there. A few gathered around in motor homes as well as cars and even a full sized trailer! Tractor trailers freely stopped by as there was a series of ports along the river truckers would pick up and drop off from. We even had the police answering a domestic disturbance call at one of the vehicles! It wasn’t a huge encampment but it lasted for at least 3 years I knew about…
@@happycook6737 I’d have to say yes, at 159k miles the motor blew and this van was extremely well taken care of. Every ford ive ever owned was a piece of crap. My next van definitely wont be a van. I live in an a 5th wheel RV now and thinking about getting a stealth box truck next and not a van.

Check out Dr. John McDougal's free diet plan. Jeff Novick also has quick food. Their food reverses arterial heart disease because whole foods plant based with no added fat or oils. I would zip open frozen veggies, add a can of drained beans, and some cooked rice or cooked potato plus spices. There are other things too. Most convenience stores will let you use their microwave to reheat foods and get free ice water if you have a cup. I never had anyone say no and I didn't buy anything there. I did this when I was on a big diet and traveled. Sometimes motels will let you have ice for free too, not big amounts but it was enough for my cooler.
Great Info! I may add that in the states of the South, Rest Stops are a great option. Well lit, with security and a rest room and water access. After COVID, many rest stops were cleaned and much improved. Some are amazing in SC. Bama, too. No outside cooking is suggested. Spent several nights, with good sleep over the last two years. ~~~ There's a reason they are called "Rest Stops" ~~~
Lol First time we did we bought towels for curtains and pillows. Plus food. Really not the quieter place to car camp when they were 24 hrs. Almost all of them I have shopped in have huge square parking lots with few trees.
I like to back in to obstruct the view of my license plate. People won't know if you're local or out of town. I find truck stops very safe. Truckers tend to watch out for each other and they're well lit, have cameras, and are open all night. Not crazy about rest stop for already pointed out reasons. Before staying at a Kracker Barell they like you to tell the manager that you'll be there. Great breakfast food too. Some casinos alow over night parking. Well lit and watched. This was a very good video with helpful hints.

Walmart was a good idea when they were open 24 hours. I use a van, not an RV, so I don't have a toilet. Under today's conditions, I try to find a hospital emergency room with nearby parking; easier to do, of course, outside of big cities.
I made my own female urinal. Take a 2 liter soda bottle. From the top end, cut in the middle 1/3 way down from the top. Then invert the cut top into the bottom. When finished take top out and pour contents into screw top bottle. It works so well. For emergency #2, 5 gallon bucket lined triple with grocery bags. Put a toilet seat on it. Then seal wastebag in ziplock bag. Much safer options then running to a public bathroom in the middle of the night.
The Lonoke, Arkansas Walmart sadly had to put up bars over entrances to keep 18-wheelers out. Inexperienced (I'm assuming) drivers kept knocking over light poles, running over shopping carts and hitting cars. It's a small parking lot. The asphalt was breaking up due to weight of vehicles. When I worked there we loved having truck drivers shopping with us but sadly the bad drivers messed it up for all the long haul drivers. As far as I know RV's still park there. They did hire security to drive around parking lot at night. Just check out where you are like he says.
I have been an on & off Van Camper for roughly 20 years traveling & exploring 48 States & half of Canada in a Dodge Grand Caravan (had 3 of them over that time).... I finally saved my money to upgrade to a Ford Transit High-Top with extended back.... WOW, what a dream way to travel now with so much space and to think I can literally stand up inside is totally ideal, at least for me it is.... Everyone decides for themselves what works best, and some are limited my their finances.... Yes, I stayed in so many Walmart parking lots, but also Cracker Barrel that allows it, and I stayed at many Highway Rest Areas & Travel Plazas/Truck Stops too.=== PS, you mentioned pepper spray, well, as you know, some States ban it... However, BEAR SPRAY is 100% legal in all 50 States, and guess what? Bear Spray does wonders on bad people because it's 100X more powerful than regular pepper spray and can reach up to 30+ feet with about a 3 to 4 foot wide spray, so in my opinion, it's better than a gun, but also 100% legal... Just be sure to let the police know you ONLY carry bear Spray to protect yourself from bears, and I believe there are bears in all 50 States, so that's what I carry (3 cans).
Amazing that you arrived at a Walmart parking lot and started cooking dried garbanzo beans at that time of night. Even though I have cooked chickpeas in a pressure cooker I think I would have resorted to the canned ones in that instance. I have never tried an instant pot though
I’ve parked my semi at MANY Walmart’s that say “no parking.” Some care, most don’t. However I always park out of the way if possible and NEVER leave trash or anything behind.
Found this in a recommendation, never did I think I’d see someone at my local Walmart lol. I never thought but it’s definitely the perfect place to settle for a night. :)
Wal-Mart is the best boondocking. We have a truck and 17 ft trailer. I live his thete is no mosquitos. I wish I could figure out where crown land is in canada. Lovely video.
I presume that another reason you park up overnight at Walmarts is that they have restrooms(its almost as if the subject is taboo) , ideal for next day. Enjoying the vids👍
Stick out like a sore thumb under a tree way out far from the store. Park right up front where all the employees park. lean my seat back and go to sleep. I try to work 3rd Shift so I can sleep during the day when it's not as cold. And I get all dialed in at a gas station or somewhere close before I pull into the lot so when I get there I'm ready to go and don't make a big scene. 24 hr Factories are another great place to sleep. Zillion cars there and even if somebody does notice u they just figure you're on break or lunch. Nice dreams
Walmart, Cracker Barrel, Cabela's etc... should all have a "registration system" for campers. It should cost around $5 per night, but that fee waived if you produce a receipt where you've shopped at their location... At first glance, that might seem like a negative, but let me explain... ALL RV'ers, campers, etc want to rid the "campers" label of BAD PEOPLE. Those who ABUSE the gracious host of these organization's parking lots. By registering, that would reduce and remove a LOT of bad people from the parking lot camp system. It would start to build up a list of those who are considerate/safe/responsible campers, from those who are abusive/trashy/noisy/disrespectful. Which is something I think the entire rv'ing/vanners/camping community would want....
Nah that's not cool. I never want to pay $5 to park at a Cabela's overnight. Free parking is why truckers like parking there. I don't get reimbursed for paid parking receipts. I serve my country in the sense of moving goods and am away from my family for long periods of time. I shouldn't be punished for it by paying to park. I think the world has enough fees and taxes. As for your theory about paid parking making people be clean with their trash it actually works in reverse. They feel they paid so someone can pick up their trash after them.
When I would travel I used to stay at truck stops but can’t sleep well at them. I own a Toyota Highlander only have slept one in the back on an outing Bigfoot outing, pretty cool time we had, I like how you have covered your windows. Anyway I really like your videos good luck to you and your pup.
Ever thought about covering your windows with' Security and Safety Clear Window Film' to deter intruders. I did the same for my house for storm protection, I live in Florida.
There's nothing wrong with people knowing you are in your vehicle, which car do you think they're going to choose to break into? If overnight parking is allowed who cares, if not do the stealth thing but don't live like that all the time, you'll go crazy.
Hard to believe, but it's true.. some Walmarts won't let you stay overnight, but some security will let you or won't go through the hassle (I use to work security for a wal-mart). If you don't want to be annoyed later, I'd hit up the security car and ask if it's cool to stay the night. I've also noticed a few best-buys don't have any security and you can just park there no problems
yeah I'm sure there are few Walmarts that are pretty strict about it out there, I just haven't had any issues with it, especially because my Prius is so stealth and no one really knows that I'm in there sleeping
If it is hot and you need to open your windows, stay away from grass, bushes and trees, they are breading grounds for mosquitoes and bugs. Stay in the center of the parking lot, under a light, mosquitoes don't like light. Stay away from that large mosquito pond.
I watched this video and hope you stay well! You never know how others live etc so thanks for sharing and being a good human! Why don't you back in so if you had to drive away you could?
doesn't it make more sense to back in , as it would be easier to see an incoming intruder from the main parking area ? Plus it's usually easier to high tail it out of dodge if you don't have to back up first.
I don't like backing in because my windshield is not light proof, you can see lights on inside the car from the windshield, but not the rest of the car.
It really depends on what your backing into. If there's brush and woods, avoid that spot. Those woods and that brush is full of paths and littl hidy holes where the JUNKIES and the DESPERATE DRUNKS hang out to do their SHIT or drink the listerine they just SHOPLIFTED and watch for some unsuspecting soul to steal from. Only park at the places where there is another parking lot adjacent.park under the light and if you can see surveillance cameras around you can sleep better. BE VIGILANT.
Love what you do in your Prius. Awesome CarCamp setup. But… disagree with your choice of parking spots. The whole idea of the Walmart parking is to remain visible to reduce odds of being harassed or worse. The idiots or deranged or worse prefer isolated areas where they have better odds of NOT being seen when they approach their victims. I’m only commenting to provide comment for viewers who might be about to start car camping and May be a bit naive. Thankfully you have not experienced the worst cases. Be safe. Thanks for posting.
Yet another great video!! Thank you for showing the google app idea. I just put a roof rack and carrier box on my magnums roof a few days ago. Hopefully its not gonna ruin the stealth magnum car camping look. Also how many watts does the cooker use. Im plannkng on running a 2nd battery to feed my cooking atuff for car camping and stealth camping. Btw ill be getting the parts to build window coverings next week.
thanks, glad you liked it. I think my pressure cooker uses 1,000 Watts while it is heating up, and then it drops to 300 w while it is actually pressure cooking. I'm not sure though. good luck with your build, having a rooftop box can be a giveaway for stealth camping but not always
Use a Redarc battery charger 'twixt the batteries AND place a 150 / 200w solar panel on the roof. You can plug the panel into the redarc. That way, if parked in daylight hours, panel will charge the second battery and whlist mobile, engine will charge BOTH batteries as you drive. 2nd battery should be an AGM or lithium set up. AGM & lithium batteries can be safely mounted inside a vehicle. DO NOT mount AGM or lithium batteries in the engine bay

Hugs
Be safe my friend 🙏😀 Pandemic hurts many families & businesses
I used to work security at a casino for 6 years. It's normal to see cars there overnight or even days at a time. We only ever looked to make sure no one is dead in the car. Otherwise we never had a reason to care.

If someone shoot with gun shuts not safe when you are alone at big open facility parking lot
*Yes, I too miss the 24/7 hours!!! 👍👍👍* Sharon in SC
Thanks for the tip. I'm retired Army and can get on bases too, I just never thought of sleeping overnight there.
As a woman ; if I was solo truck camping in a Walmart parking lot- id be in a well lite area - not by a tree in the shadows--
As aan, buy a strap, be packing, not lacking
Why?
Why?
You should be worried about the cops and somebody who owns the place that disturbed your truck life.most men aren't the problem...it's the store and the police that would bother you
I always park directly under those cameras on poles with the police lights on them
Cabelas and bass pro offer free overnight parking. Some have dog runs with water, horse corral area and even dump stations for RVs. There is a lighted side and a dark side. You should try it.
*i used to do Walmart when it was 24 hrs. now i crash at truck stops like Loves, Pilot, Flying J, etc. i need a bathroom if i wake up in the middle of the night. then give them some business, like buyin beverages or snacks for using their lot overnight*
*also, ive never had any issues sleeping a few hrs at the state run rest stops. almost always, you're not the only 1 sleepin in a car there, plus bathroom is always available*
hospitals are also pretty good
i like to go anywhere that i can go inside of 24/7 without anyone asking questions why that has bathroom, water and AC
edit
Plus there are a bunch of other vehicles already there 24/7 so it doesn't raise any suspicion
My favorite is a local hospital emergency room area. My second favorite is Interstate rest areas. Both have restrooms 24/7.
We thought about hospitals before Covid but no longer consider it. Haven't really went anywhere since Covid anyway.
Dinner looked great. Everything looks cozy and comfy. Nighty night to your doggie.

Thank you so much dude. I am going to start stealth camping in the Hampton Roads area (Virginia Beach, Norfolk) in a Tesla at the end of the month and your videos have been instrumental. I was really nervous to let go of my house and move into the car, but your videos are very reassuring and real.
I currently live out of my suburban and drive for Lyft and I'm doing their express drive program right now
Glad I could help! Tesla's are great because they're fully electric so there's no gas engine that kicks on at any time. do you plan on doing that for a long time or just temporarily?
@@anotherHondaElement the Express drive program is designed to give Lyft drivers vehicles at a weekly cost My average is about $600 a week insurance is included you just have to pay for any damages to the tires and to the windows other than that lyft take care of everything else well I mean you have to pay for gas obviously States vary so don't quote me on this please check in with your local Lyft HQ to find out more details regarding this express drive program as California is different but I do have a brand new 2021 Honda insight from Lyft. 7:35 you say "lock the doors". Can't be understated, I was sleeping in a national forest along the Canasauga River last year and had someone try to open my driver door in the middle of the night. They left after two tries of the door handle thankfully. Never had that happen in a Walmart though lol.

That can happen in a sticks and bricks house too. Particularly in Minneapolis, Portland and Baltimore.

That’s why I never call to ask about parking. I just park. 😂
That's what my mom always tells me. But I dumb 😢😂
A lot of the time when a Walmart has “no parking” signs everywhere, it’s really just for liability reasons. I’ve stayed in many parking lots like that. You have to be brave when it comes to this kind of situation.
I was a long haul truck driver back in the 1990' s - 2010 and Walmart would let us drivers sleep over night in their lots all over the US, so no big deal.
yea i bet
I have been in sketchy rest stops w trucks rolling in all night. I think I moved three times to feel somewhat safe, and a questionable inner city Walmart in AZ. Thank you so much for the info about where to go and what to look for! Love your beautiful girl! Heal well soon!
Thank you very much, glad it was helpful. Yeah a lot of people sleep at rest stops, I guess it's all about what you're comfortable with.
I stayed overnight in a Walmart in Deming, NM. No problems, had a good night's sleep. Of course, sleeping in a Prius helped a lot also. 👍
That's great
Yeah I tried that when the fair was in town as I was passing through town , It didn't work too swell that night.

It wasn’t a huge encampment but it lasted for at least 3 years I knew about…
Walmart is totally missing the boat. Delivery to your door in the #2 parking lot is the wave of the future. Knock Knock. Breakfast is here!

Sometimes motels will let you have ice for free too, not big amounts but it was enough for my cooler.
sell the little car and get a van at least, class C rv would be better

I may add that in the states of the South, Rest Stops are a great option. Well lit, with security and a rest room and water access. After COVID, many rest stops were cleaned and much improved. Much safer options then running to a public bathroom in the middle of the night.

how about Dial .357?
The Lonoke, Arkansas Walmart sadly had to put up bars over entrances to keep 18-wheelers out. Inexperienced (I'm assuming) drivers kept knocking over light poles, running over shopping carts and hitting cars. It's a small parking lot. The asphalt was breaking up due to weight of vehicles.
When I worked there we loved having truck drivers shopping with us but sadly the bad drivers messed it up for all the long haul drivers.

I enjoy your videos, and I like your content, but I hit the like button cuz the doggo is adorable 💜
Adorable dog
Great video and great tip!! Will you consider Prius for future vehicle purchase?
yes i will
When I would travel I used to stay at truck stops but can’t sleep well at them. I own a Toyota Highlander only have slept one in the back on an outing Bigfoot outing, pretty cool time we had, I like how you have covered your windows. Anyway I really like your videos good luck to you and your pup.
I found your channel and subbed a few days ago to show support! I'm liking all your videos. Thank you for sharing with us your setup and tips.
Thanks for subbing! Glad you like the content
New sub, new Nomad !!
Awesome thank you!
If it is hot and you need to open your windows, stay away from grass, bushes and trees, they are breading grounds for mosquitoes and bugs. Stay in the center of the parking lot, under a light, mosquitoes don't like light. Stay away from that large mosquito pond.
Yes I agree, thanks
Thanks for great tips. Where do you get your window coverings? And is it a concern that you’ll run out of oxygen if all the windows are closed?
i made the covers. i crack my windows often so it doesnt get stuffy
What a sweet friend you have there.
I watched this video and hope you stay well! You never know how others live etc so thanks for sharing and being a good human! Why don't you back in so if you had to drive away you could?
Thank you. I dont back in because people can see lights on through my windshield
Dinner looked brilliant. Truly delicious.
doesn't it make more sense to back in , as it would be easier to see an incoming intruder from the main parking area ? Plus it's usually easier to high tail it out of dodge if you don't have to back up first.
I don't like backing in because my windshield is not light proof, you can see lights on inside the car from the windshield, but not the rest of the car.
I like the way you camp in your Hotel Prius. And your instapot!
@@MountainSpringsAdventures Just use one of those silver screen blinds, works perfectly.
So, what do you do all day,,,how do you get money, etc,,,what do you do for AC and heating?
Use a Redarc battery charger 'twixt the batteries AND place a
150 / 200w solar panel on the roof.
I think you are awesome at stealth camping
Thank you! i was thinking about doing more stealth camping videos
