If we got to pick this movie apart the population would get too worked up. Remember the riots they were writing on the walls " If we burn then you burn with us". That type of dangerous social commentary cannot come from Hollywood influence. too dangerous.
This opening alone is my favorite scene in the whole movies series. It's super catching. That music nailing it, that smile, that charisma, that crowd. So cool.
he isnt a villain in the books. he's always portrayed as someone who is trying to help portray katniss and every contestant in the best light possible.
@@harisrahman3371 But in the movies, he isn’t necessarily a good guy, I wouldn’t put him down as a villain, he is still human, but he interviews these people who have been pulled from their homes and are about to kill one another as if he is interviewing someone about to go into a sport and not necessarily seeing that factor of humanity within them
@@SimpleAce Well i agree, but he is from the Capitol, which means that he's unfortunately excited for the games, he is part of a brainwashed society and it's not his fault to be like that but he's also really charismatic with the tributes and he tries to put them in the spotlight, which is why i think he is a good person at the end of the day.
@@creativemauri3131 ok. I do agree with you, I guess most people within the capitol are for the most part not shown the humanity of the people as it for them, they see it more of a 'game', but I believe it is also out of ignorance, they don't need to accomodate them as actual people as they're more like figures to the people within the capitol, they see themselves above them, idk.
@@creativemauri3131 that's his job, as has been the job of all the interviewers before him so it's not really him being the nice guy but his job description :/
Honestly he was one of the best casting choice in the movies. I really liked his character. He was so charismatic and I think he genuinely did like the district members
I think the whole cast of the movies was absolutely pitch perfect. I can't really remember movies with huge casts with so many outstanding and memorable performances.
This moment is where it caught me. The catchy intro, the host casted in the dark looking off, and at the climax ‘lights’ you get pulled in by Cesar’s smile. He welcomes and bows before you, the side screens show smiles and laughter wondering whats so funny or could be discussed with this Cesar. From a certain perspective Cesar is used a ‘sanctuary/haven’. If/when the Capitol wants to torture or “convert” someone. Being tortured then having Cesar/Stanley Tucci blasted in your face will be the most relieving part of your day.
I wish he gets spared by the rebellion in the end, and I expect he did, since not only did he help Katniss and Peeta's reputation to skyrocket, he is just well loved by most, if not the entire Capitol, and maybe even some of the districts
I remember reading about his interviews and stuff- once I heard this theme while I watched the film, I got really hyped up and didn’t expect his theme to sound like this! 😊
Yeah! I think especially the first movie achieved that in several scenes. Still some of the best book adaptations I've ever seen. Perfect cast, camera, set design, soundtrack, costumes.
I love how the front and second section is the only bit where there's actual people sitting the rest of it showing as of the arena goes way back is just a projection
The stage of movie version of "War", which can be heard here, sounds more differentiated, those horns are really bassy and kind of vibrating. More than the normal version of the song. Is it possible to tweak the normal song like that? I bet the audio editors of hunger games got the stems of the song from "Hypnotic Brass Ensemble" and made it sounding more surround.
Totally should be the newsman of the UNIVERSE. Oh some kids will kill each other in the woods? THAT SOUNDS LIKE FUN!! ARE YOU EXITED? LET ME HEAR IT!!!!!! BWAA HAA HAA HAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
I don't know. The thing I always loved about him is that he just doesn't seem to care about politics, about right or wrong. He is just there to entertain and give the people the time of their life. He is just there to deliver a damn good show and that he does. An entertainer and showman to the core. And I believe there is nothing inherently evil with that kind of person.
No, if he was and didn’t like it, so much so you could see it visibly, he would probably try to escape the capitol and/or give secrets to the rebellion, plus when the capitol was under attack, he could easily escaped, with the peace keepers focused on rebels, he could have slipped past and got in touch with the rebellion
Stanley Tucci’s acting is the definition of understanding the assignment.
He played this character so perfectly!!!!!!
One of the most unique and underrated social commentaries in film History. Caesar Flickerman is the embodiment of how fake the media can be.
If we got to pick this movie apart the population would get too worked up. Remember the riots they were writing on the walls " If we burn then you burn with us". That type of dangerous social commentary cannot come from Hollywood influence. too dangerous.
YESS!!
Can be?
Shut up nerd
Underrated? It's a multibillion dollar franchise
I love how he turns around in the chair as they are introducing him and then he has a huge smile at the end 😂
Alex Revnew he doesn't turn if you meant his body, chair is actually sitting still while camera moves
Me too 😂

I'm here once a week
I know he's like a villain, but he's so charismatic

I wish this was a real show. The intro music is what seals the deal for me (shout out to Hypnotic Brass Ensemble)
Is called The Graham Norton Show
Ong
War🤌
Y'know, besides the child murder
The song is War by the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble for anyone wondering
The music is just so...... suitable for a talkshow
The Caesar Flickerman Show FTW
I love how he's staring in the distance and then once he's announced does that head turn and smile. What a character
If this was a real show, I would watch it every day without fail. RR
"Fun for the whole family!" "VIEWING IS MANDATORY"

Honestly he was one of the best casting choice in the movies. I really liked his character. He was so charismatic and I think he genuinely did like the district members
I think the whole cast of the movies was absolutely pitch perfect. I can't really remember movies with huge casts with so many outstanding and memorable performances.
Right next to Snow
If he genuinely liked them he wouldn't host a show where they all kill eachother dumbass
perfect acting combined with a great track
Stanley Tucci is probably one of the most iconic and brilliant actors in history. This character was done so spectacularly! I LOVE IT!!
The song, the acting, the smiles - thats exactly what I would do if I were a talk show, or game show host, lol.
Stanley Tucci was meant for this role!
honestly caesars opening theme is such a bop
viewing is mandatory ... Love Caesar , he is totally the best character ever
Background music kinda slaps
Song is the greatest intro I’ve ever witnessed
Ladies and Gentlemen.. your master of ceremonies... CAESAR FLICKERMAN!!
I love this song so much
More than anything else in the whole movie this scene just encapsulates the whole vibe of the world of panem: Ancient Rome...but modern, and American.
Something about this scene was perfect!!!
Just love the way he turns around! He's so charismatic :) love him omg, I just don't think he's like this in real life.. He was just forced to do it:(
I wanna be a guest on his show!
This is my favourite scene of the movie 😂 he's so good for this
he is the most adorable villain 😂😍
Litteraly that was my favorite part, the feeling on the cinema... I think was part of it
I love how the background is just him making different faces. Never change Mr. Flickerman!

His feigned smile is something you would expect in North Korea^^
Great actor indeed.
the music is so good it really pulls the scene together perfectly. i don’t think any other song would work as well in this place
Anyone wondering, the intro song is called "War" by Hypnotic Brass Ensemble.
I could watch a daytime show hosted by Caesar in the real world. Nothing else
Is this what cinematic perfection looks like?
Yeah! I think especially the first movie achieved that in several scenes. Still some of the best book adaptations I've ever seen. Perfect cast, camera, set design, soundtrack, costumes.
Yes, especially the casting. It's like Stanley Tucci was born for this role
LETS MAKE THIS A REAL SHOW!
Is called The Graham Norton show ;)
Yeah but first we need the real hunger games ...you know for realism
@@kgb1234 we got Minecraft hunger games😂
Viewing will be mandatory.
what I find hilarious in this scene are the screens behind which show his head making funny faces xD
I can just imagine that music blaring when my child is born, heralding their entrance XD
he is an enjoyable mfer, can't tell me otherwise.
Such a cool actor playing a cool role in a cool movie!!!
This guy is perfect
Name of the song : "War" by Hypnotic Brass Ensemble
late night jimmys could never
Viewing is mandatory.
terms and conditions apply
Caesar makes u forget that the Hunger Games is a death game, that's how charismatic he is! 😏🤔😉
this has such meme potential
Introducing him like a WWE Star 😭
absolute legend
I just really love this music, it fits so perfectly😍
is his job morally wrong? yes
is he a really good hype-man? also yes
I love how the front and second section is the only bit where there's actual people sitting the rest of it showing as of the arena goes way back is just a projection
this is what's behind the curtains at the met gala
He’s like dark Jimmy Fallon
Im my ideal life im caesar flickerman
This man is a maniac

Is just your headphones or speakers
Everyone actually enjoying this show should reflect that :D
I want a real life talk show host exactly like Caesar. I would watch that show
Best character
If this was a game show I would want his job
Lol really?
Totally should be the newsman of the UNIVERSE. Oh some kids will kill each other in the woods? THAT SOUNDS LIKE FUN!! ARE YOU EXITED? LET ME HEAR IT!!!!!! BWAA HAA HAA HAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
This song WILL be the one that plays at my wedding
The song is as legendary as Caesar is🤩
The hand flip doe
In case anyone is wondering, song is called “War” by Hypnotic Brass Ensemble
he ATE that
I cant be the only one who serched for this
''master of ceremony'' always dead me like.... THIS IS NOT MISS UNIVERSE 😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
He definitely nailed the role.
I don't know why but this theme tune makes me hysterical😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
i wish i was there
I really wish there was a scene in the final film of him dropping the act, would have been super interesting compared to this
완전 맘에듦
HUNGER GAAAAAAAMESSSSS
this goes hard
palace clown... love him though
Actually it's hard to realize that Caesar and The guy in Devil Wears Prada are the same dude.
welcumm welcumm welcumm.....XD -that's what he said ;)
This guy is the cheeseball picture boy.
I can’t hate him
Song went hard
is he supposed to be dystopian conan obrien or something?
SOme people think that he was inspired by Jay Leno while his name was inspired by Letterman but I see some Conan in him, sure.
@Kimmy Boy
Only to a small degree, the actor said the main inspiration came from Wayne Newton.
@Kimmy Boy In fact he did say that on, wouldn't you have guessed it, the Graham Norton Show ;D
Mr. Puzzles be like
I always have felt that Caesar was forced to do the things that he does. You can tell by the way he talks about snow.
I don't know. The thing I always loved about him is that he just doesn't seem to care about politics, about right or wrong.

Me while kids are getting ready to die: 💃 🕺 💃
nice vid
Michel Drucker
alan levy only french can under stand this name
I need him carnally
Without him, the rebellion would have took place way before katniss
Flickerman's father was so much more incompetent!
POV: you get invited on jimmy fallons show
Is this available on any music platforms
Bro that theme dog
Syria is superpowers' hunger game.
I really wish he was announcing the 2020 winner of the presidential election 😂
bro really used bandicam
He reminds me of Kamala Harris.
Why he reminds me of an american counterpart of Graham Norton.
In an interview he actually said he based this character on Graham Norton
